Slumdog Millionaire

Overall it was good.  Good technique in using flashbacks to tell the story (flashbacks till almost the very end).
Each memory had a lesson to teach, a lesson learned.  .  .
The high lights for me were the use of the City which was very much a vital part of the story. 
The story of the little kids and there it stopped for me.  I didn't find the adult years that much interesting.   It felt generic.
Best of all?  I wasn't bombarded by music every few minutes as i am not a fan of musicals or indian movies.
I found the shit scene endearing and hilarious. _{I think Boyle has a thing for shit} [/color]

Meanwhile, I saw Cadillac Records. It was a good film with accurate story telling. I was particularly impressed with Beyonce who hitherto I thought grossly incapable. Not that she's great, it's a case of the role fitting her than she fitting the role. Adrien, talented!

[color=#9900ff]Vesc wrong I had problems with the whole submissive role thing.  Survival sure makes you do things but sometimes enough is enough. 

I was impressed too with her (Beyonce) acting prolly because she didn't take up a lot of space in the movie, so she didnt have to overstretch her acting capabilities.  Loved her track though to the movie.

Vesc, was punisher good or what?  Bluidly gory Strictly action.  .  .best part, no nonsense love story _{i've seem this movie prolly 6times through no fault of mine ooo}

Saw doubt.  .  .it was nice.  Saw Valkyrie, it was ok too, more interesting towards the end when the plan was in motion.  Tom tried sha.  I started watching Body of Lies but fell asleep.  This is my 2nd attempt to watch that movie, all ending with me falling asleep I think i will wait months before i attempt the 3rd time[/color]
