And just because those movies cater to some audience, we cannot say it's crappy? ![]() Yeah they do service an audience. Thank goodness am not in that audience. |
Not in my family. Boundaries. . .thank goodness we know that |
I doubt it was meant to be patronizing. Don't tell me a lot of people don't feel empathy for that character Talk about Messiah complex rolls eyesPersonally it's one of the worse movies last years and definitely Will's weakest work. Pursuit of happiness is totally totally different. |
Dracula is ya romantic movie? You're so freakin weird. ![]() QT sure gives you some great dialogue and memorable moments. Only movie of his I didn't finish was Dusk till Dawn. Or was that Rodriguez's? Did you catch his performance in Alias, where he was playing a baddie? I mean, seriously, with that face of his? And that episode he directed in CSI. I just knew it was him. His unique signature wackiness was all over it. Man, I got so much great dialogue in Kill Bill I was mesmerised and didn't blink while heads and legs and torsos were leaving theri owners and arteries were gushing blood. What a rush! And that cranky Master that trained her. And Hatori Hanzo and that baldie restaurant buddy/disciple of his. Yeah. QT makes memorable films. ![]() The Usual suspects. Someone couldn't contain himself after seeing the movie and told me the story from beginning to end. By the time I saw the movie I wanted to kill him for ruining what should have been a stupendous surprise.
Hah, i loved Dusk till Dawn (It's RR not QT) That was when i fell for Clooney. Totally was digging his tattoos LOL he cracks me up when he acts. It's not his strong suit. But i'd say comic relief Ahhh when i heard he was directing that CSI episode, i made sure to watch it. Oh yeah, i was thinking how to work Kill Bill into the list lol. Ahahahaha, i see you have memorized the whole movie ![]() You should have gone ahead and done some real damage to him Spike, you have to see that movie. Ask Max, we did not lead her astray |
Did you see the convict on our tails? |
Polyandry nko? |

He was in barbershop before their eyes were watching God. He's cute. Gorgeous eyes too. |
pikkythoms: Totally forgot about that crappy movie. Terrible ending.Chuckdee:I loved the ending jare The pain he will live with eh |
Bamsyle:Crap, i meant to type 3000 lol. Thanks Yeah, why'd you think i married him? He defo ain't from earth Laydee |
LOL! I have a romantic movie na - Dracula (That's my best romantic movie) ![]() Nosferatu, is a german movie, although there is the english version. The watch trilogy is or are russian movies. It's a supernatural movie. [s]Oh Dustwatch hasn't been released by i just put it on my list because i know i will love it [/s] It's the first movie of Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) that i watched. You have to see memento, it's a mind trip ![]() I am a big fan of QT, i just love the violence and vibrancy of Pulp fiction. LOL Nurse thatcher, the tyrant. People are mental - why else would they interest me? Oh man, you need to see Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels (Guy Ritchie). A barrel of laughs One of best british movies. Personally, i like LSTB more than Snatch although, snatch is a good movie. |
Candylips, who you dey call dimwit bishoptboy:Acting is stilted and forced. Not until half way did he relax and be an actor as opposed to someone just reciting lines. Not even a good performance when i know he is capable of so much more ![]() Sorry, but i find the storyline pretentious and patronizing. A lot of people are not going to be sacrificing themselves out of their own good hearts They either do it, because they know people will go 'awww, what a good man', 'he did a great job' etc. Or they do it because of guilt which sometimes is just misplaced. Many people are easily brain-washed. Who better than the ultimate good guy to show us the errors of our ways rofl. But of course his stealing of identity and scaring and badgering people is besides the point, the point is that out of his goodness, he saved lives And of course, he has to have one happy moment before laying us with his generosity Wonder what other people will do in their 'attempt to make amends'? ![]() The movie was too heavy, it's a struggle not to fall asleep during the first part especially. I was only fascinated by the jellyfish. Nothing spectacular. It could be any other just there movie. They could have tied some of the water scenes to the 'lowness' he felt - An end or if you will freedom. The movie gave away too much too soon, you know right near the beginning what the whole story is about. Subtlety would have gone a long way in keeping one interested to know where his extreme behaviour is taking him and us the audience. |
In no particular order LOTR trilogy Bram Stoker's Dracula Trainspotting Pan's Labyrinth City of God The Matrix (Including Animatrix) A Clockwork Orange Sin City/300 (Had to sneak that one in )Gladiator Shawshank Redemption The Usual Suspects Memento Pulp Fiction Lock, stock and two smoking barrels Silence of the Lambs Unforgiven Nosferatu Daywatch/Nightwatch/Duskwatch (rilogy) One flew over the cuckoo's nest Jaws Twenty is small a list ![]() |
