I guess only the immigrants who work for Farms and Hotels owned by your donors aren't murderers and rapists.

Lol @ the corruption and lying here. 1.) THe Consumer Finance Protection Bureau(CFPB) reaches a settlement with a company in Trump's first term. 2.) Now in Trump's 2nd term they want to unwind the settlement by saying that the lawsuit by Trump in the 1st administration lacked a legal basis. 3.) Judge calls it all out and refuses to abort the settlement.

bemeruca:Guy has a stroke, staff and doctors are worried he wants to kill himself, but he now sounds like a Republican. Yes, break your brain, become depressed and suicidal and you too may sound like a Republican. Great ad! |
I don't know if this variation of the story is true, but unfortunately there is truth to this type of act by Nigerian airlines. I've seen this similar situation first hand, and have unfortunately (didn't know at the time) benefited for it on a last minute ticket. I've also had something similar happen where a gate agent wanted, I think ~300k to let me board my flight when I arrived to the airport too close to the departure of my flight. Told him to screw himself and sorted him the next day, but truthfully ended up costing me more than that to catch the flight the next day. I always try to get to the airport early or use an airport agent. |
The war on Education: Fulbright Program Edition The dozen board members of the prestigious Fulbright program that promotes international educational exchanges resigned on Wednesday because of what they said was political interference by the Trump administration in their operations, according to people familiar with the issues and a board memo obtained by The New York Times.https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/11/us/politics/fulbright-board-resign-trump.html

I really get tired of people like Lankford talking about states like MA and their high taxes when our states subsidy his so he can have low taxes.

raumdeuter:Soldiers aren't law enforcement. Soldiers are explicitly forbade from law enforcement duties by the Posse Comitatus Act. And when the President calls up the National Guard using Article 10 they can only be there in a supportive role to federal agents. Again, they aren't law enforcement unless he uses the Insurrection Act. You can't be for the law only when it serves you. There is a reason the US has laws. If you don't like the US laws maybe you should leave and find another country to live where people make up the lies on the FLY. Maybe someplace like where you were born. |
Imagine celebrating this man and those who fly confederate flags while arguing you are against people waving foreign flags at protest rallies. I wonder are protest greater or less than killing Americans in a civil war? Robert E. Lee was a treasonous loser who killed scores of fellow Americans in defense of slavery. Let that sink in. He should have been hanged when the civil war was over. There should be no Confederate statute anywhere in the US. This is the single reason that I think any black person that supports Trump has something wrong with their head. But ey sound reasoning and Maga are like oil and water.
|
raumdeuter:To allow ICE to do their jobs of arresting people who they say are breaking the law by being in the US, the President should break the law and his oath to uphold the constitution by illegally sending US military to states? The very same thing Southern states said they fought the Civil War over. It's a type of logic that is uninformed by any understanding of the Constitution nor history. |
Remember when Conservatives were attacking Dems for their "messaging". I wonder where they got the idea?
|
As I was saying. Raumdeuter, maybe you can use that Harvard Extension School Economics degree and explain this. West Texas Intermediate, the US oil benchmark, settled at $64.98 a barrel on Tuesday, down 17 per cent since the high this year — and below the price needed by many shale drillers to break even. The EIA said international oil prices would fall to less than $60/b in 2026.

cococandy:If it were Biden federalizing the National Guard in Texas, there would be people in the streets with Guns. But, I don't blame it solely on Trump. This is on Congress. You have 70 year old cowards who are too scared that they may be primaried and have to retire with a full pension that they can't do what they know is right. I assume if you're a coward at 70 you've probably been a coward your whole life. Trump is arguing in order to deport the immigrants who are breaking the law by entering the country, he has to break the law and his vow to uphold the Constitution to do so. |
Another pillar of the US comes crashing down. President Trump giving a partisan speech to uniformed military.
|
cococandy:They things they fight and scream over, they never believed. They just wanted to be the ones to do them. |
bemeruca:As if you would even understand what Federalism is or how this all relates to the 2nd Amendment that the right keeps shouting about. What Trump is doing is part of the reason the framers of the Constitution envisioned a 2nd Amendment. I find it hilarious that we are hearing nothing from those on the right when a President is sending Federal troops into a state despite the express wishes of the Governor of that state. Who would have thought that Republicans don't really believe nor understand all the things they run their mouths about. |
AmazonTopaz:Unfortunately Americans are idiots. The guy who pardoned the people who attacked the Capital and police is now Mr. Law and Order. |
cococandy:Haven't heard the words cancel culture in this thread for a while. |
cococandy:That's the reason I sometimes find it hard to blame Dems. They just aren't as craven. But other times when there is an issue they should be up in arms about liek the DC parade, I can easily blame them. Where is all this money is coming from. Congress didn't appropriate money for a Parade. The Dems are doing their Dem thing... nothing. |
feedthenation:It would have been on a loop and wall to wall coverage. |
TACO Trump returns. Garcia Abrego is returned. They should have done this first if there were any real charges to begin with.
|
Ibime:That has always been the political liability with Dems, they generally tend to stand for their believe over the expedient action. Musk is dead to a lot of people esp. in Europe. And any Democratic politician who thinks they can try to rehab Musk loses me as well. I'm not sure what the play is, so I think it has to do with a drug bender. |
Stolen:If you're subscribed pills, you should be taking them. |
Elon is what happens when you do drugs. Not sure he thought out this strategy. Set fire to Trump, himself and a pile of his money. |
|
Who gets the MAGATs after the divorce?
|
bemeruca:One of us has a Math and Econ degree. The other, well just lies. |
bemeruca:Unfortunately, facts and data don't believe you.
|
bemeruca:You spent upwards of 8 hours a day here crying about what is happening in the US yet have never stepped foot in the US. Many people would consider that wailing. |
