What happened to cutting govt. expenses? What did all those Americans lose their jobs for? What was the point of cutting research into kids’ cancer? research into health care for women? Etc? What did your friends and neighbors lose their retirement savings for?

When we tell you republicans that you’re dumb, it’s not elitism. It’s based on observable facts. You are lied to that the Republican Party wants to save Americans money yet they all unanimously vote for a bill that increases spending in the trillions. Make it make sense pls. Try to reconcile what they say and what they do if you can.

When have they ever in the past 50 years been good for the economy? The answer is NEVER. That’s if you let your common sense lead you instead of these emotions you feel so strongly against other people- that influences you to vote against your wellbeing every single time.

Now Elon is trying to distance himself from it. As if he hasn’t succeeded in what he really set out to do. Which is crippling the agencies responsible for putting check and balances on his operations.

By 2034 when the deficit has ballooned, another republican will emerge and convince the dimwits that he’s the solution to this problem. A problem that could’ve been avoided if you people had common sense to begin with.
There isn't any real policy cohesion in the GOP because their goal isn't policy but to win elections using soundbites and political gimmicks.
So they go from day to day saying things that are then contradicted by the bills they pass.
And their supporters get whiplash trying to defend the the opposite of what they defended yesterday.

But God did say, You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.

God's prohibition was protective guidance, not arbitrary control. Like you will tell your child, Don't touch the stove, it will burn you. The moral framework existed, but Adam and Eve chose experiential knowledge over revealed knowledge.

But lets see,

If humans lack free will, they're not truly moral agents they're just sophisticated puppets

If humans have free will, then genuine choice must include the possibility of "wrong" choices (Which God gave them)

But if God creates beings capable of choice and then forbids certain choices, that's not really eliminating the choice, it's just adding consequences. You and I know there are consequences to every decision we make.

This is not about enslaving Eve and Adam; it is a warning about the consequences of choosing a certain path.
The warning isn't control, it is information. But the deeper control lies in creating us with the capacity for choice in the first place. God could have made humans incapable of disobedience like; lets say rocks, but chose not to.

You see, sometimes the lack of experience concern comes from people genuinely worried about outcomes rather than trying to maintain control. But let's assume they don't care. A rapid transition without adequate preparation can hurt the very people it's meant to help. rural farmers need functioning supply chains, credit systems, and markets, regardless of who owns the land. As I sourced the other time, 90% of the appropriated farmland failed. they have all the funding and support they need, to the tune of 5 billion. What we're seeing in South Africa is anything but external sabotage. This is your way of excusing their failure and cycling back to the idea that it is the white man's fault. Will you ever allow the space for taking responsibility for the path they choose?

If we revert to the eve metaphor once more, it suggests taking the fruit of knowledge regardless of the consequences. But in policy terms, the question now becomes: if you know external forces will try to make you fail, do you have an obligation to sequence reforms in ways that maximize your chances of success?

Court strikes down Trump's tariffs, ruling them illegal
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/court-strikes-dow-trumps-liberation-day-tariffs-ruling-them-illegal/

A federal court on Wednesday froze many of the large-scale tariffs imposed by President Trump on virtually every foreign nation, ruling the levies exceed the president's legal authority.

The ruling — issued by a panel of judges on the U.S. Court of International Trade — halted the sweeping 10% tariffs Mr. Trump assessed on virtually every U.S. trading partner on "Liberation Day" last month, with higher tariffs threatened for dozens of countries. The court also blocked a separate set of tariffs imposed on China, Mexico and Canada by the Trump administration, which has cited drug trafficking and illegal immigration as its reasoning for the hikes.

The Trump administration has justified the tariffs by citing the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977, or IEEPA, which gives the president the power to regulate imports during certain emergency situations. But the court on Wednesday rejected the government's interpretation of the law, and said it would be unconstitutional for any law passed by Congress to give the president blanket authority to set tariffs.

"The court does not read IEEPA to confer such unbounded authority and sets aside the challenged tariffs imposed thereunder," the judges wrote Wednesday.

The court said Mr. Trump's global 10% tariffs aren't authorized by IEEPA because they're designed to deal with trade imbalances between the U.S. and the rest of the world, which the judges said should fall under non-emergency legislation.

The way you veer off into this bizarre Adam and Eve analogy that’s about as relevant as a fairy tale is to tax policy. It is outstanding, the red herring is very strong.
Your biblical spin about God punishing Adam and Eve with drought is a cute story, but it has nothing to do with the economic and political realities of post colonial Nigeria or South Africa. And comparing it to Pharaoh’s retaliation? Wetin you they talk. You can be smart, and i will admit, you lost me here.
Nigerian business failures were primarily due to external sabotage the withholding rain metaphor, but this oversimplifies the real challenges of rapid economic transition. We are seeing it in modern day South Africa. The power plant they took over and other vital infrastructures are collapsing. I bet you will blame the colonial power for all these, even if they have no input on the direction South Africa is taking. The decline of Nigerian manufacturing had multiple documented causes: Lack of institutional knowledge transfer before the handover, Insufficient time for capacity building, Global economic pressures unrelated to colonial legacy, and Infrastructure challenges that predated independence.

Colonial powers certainly didn't prepare colonies for economic independence, and attributing all post independence failures solely to external sabotage ignores internal policy choices and structural challenges. You know your countrymen and the corruption that runs through their veins.

As for Israel and Palestine, the situations have fundamentally different contexts.
You should stop feeding your posts through ChatGPT.
You don't think anyone can tell when you're not writing your own grammatically incorrect posts?

Biden pardoned his family because Trump said he would go after them just like he is going after Harvard, Law Firms or the plethora of other people he has went after personally using unconstitutional methods (as most of the court rulings so far have said).

When you get your info from far right propaganda you will always sound uninformed. But in defense of your GOd and Savior pardon full throated criminals, this is the best you got.

López Rivera was not directly linked to any specific bombings.[2][3] Many considered him to be the world's longest-held political prisoner, with a number of political and religious groups calling for his release.[4] U.S. President Bill Clinton offered him and 13 other convicted FALN members conditional clemency in 1999; López Rivera rejected the offer on the grounds that not all incarcerated FALN members received pardons. In January 2017, President Barack Obama commuted López Rivera's sentence;[5] he was released in May 2017,[6] having served 36 years in prison, longer than any other member of the FALN.[7]

Forget about my location; let’s assume I am in Nigeria. Why did you want to relocate to Nigeria and the UK, but it never happened? You visit Nigeria occasionally, and a lot of the time, you complain about various issues, while you were only in the UK once, and that one time, you mentioned experiencing racism during that visit. Is it safe to say that you dodged a bullet or two?
I was in the UK at least 3 times just in my senior year. Used to go quite regularly after that as I dated someone who lived there and my homegirl's mom was an Ambassador there. So was always fun times.

As I said speak for your cosplaying self. There is no intersection between my life in Nigeria and yours so you wouldn't even understand why I'd be comfortable moving back.
