SlayQueenSlayer:DId this make sense to you? You guys seem to just string words together and think that is how a good thought or argument is formed. Here is the Diocese led by a Conservative Catholic criticizing Trump.
|
This is honestly quite disrespectful. |
SlayQueenSlayer:Liberals? Are Catholics liberal now? |
cococandy:I'm sure it's more like: "That woman made 500k calling someone the N word? $$$ I can get paid for that? I do that for free.. Can't wait till I can cross the border into the US". |
cococandy:"At the rate Trump is saving lives from fentanyl, death will cease to exist by August!" This is not a skit. Bwahahahhahah Starts @ 9:14 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLwbO8Ix9Gc?t=560 |
The best MAGA minds.

Everyone else seems to be scared shitless about the Rise of figures like Trump except America... Sad ![]()

Bemeruca who supports racists in Trump and MAGA and himself spouts racist stuff is surprised that people are being motivated by racism? I can't. |
raumdeuter:You're the reason Republicans want to get rid of classical education. So people can reason like you. You sound unsurprisingly like you've never thought about law or justice or read about it. You live in the US, get the benefits of US law while not understanding why someone in Nigeria should deserve the same benefits of the Law. And while you get the benefits of things like due process you support those who try to trash it so that the US can look like Nigeria, where someone with money can bribe the police to lock up you and your family with the flimsiest of reasons. And you can trash it because there are people like Dems and the Courts, which you trash, who fight to ensure those backstops in the US constitution are still there. I and most people compare the legal systems in other countries because it's a real world case study in what happens when countries don't have the same protections afforded in their constitutions the US has. It's a sad thing that your thought is so shallow you don't understand why someone would compare the US legal system and that of Nigeria. I'm not sure why you want to be thought of as uneducated. But you're leaving that as an indelible belief. |
happney65:This is utterly insulting. |
raumdeuter:The fact that you wrote this speaks volumes about you. The fact that you wrote this in an American politics section on a Nigerian website says more. Go read a book. Spending 4 hours a day on Nairaland trolling with Bemeruca won't make you smarter or able to understand some of this stuff. No wonder you have such an affinity with Trump... One failed businessman showing love to another. |
raumdeuter:How does a private company arrest someone? Are you ok? Does that even make sense to you? You've been stewed in Nigeria's brand of Justice and are too daft to understand how bad it is that you think what Trump is doing is ok. I'm just realizing you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the foundations of the Western Legal System, what Justice is in the US and have probably never read the US constitution. Due Process seems to be a foreign concept to you. How did you even pass the US citizenship exam? You talk about others coming to the US and not assimilating, have you? Because your legal understanding of America is Un American. |
GloriousGbola:Yup then copy and pastes the posts into his Bemeruca account and then adds the post id. LOL. The amount of energy that takes. Probably went out and borrowed a 2nd monitor for this purpose. Trolling is his full time job. |
raumdeuter:Also on the frontpage VeryDarkMan Was Blindfolded And Taken To EFCC Headquarters - Tunde Ednut (Video) - Celebrities - Nairaland What does someone in Nigeria getting arrested without due process have to do with Trump arresting people without due process? Hmm.. if there was only some reason I was bringing that up while you are actively arguing sending people to prison camps based on mere allegations without due process is ok. And when does a private citizen get arrested because he was talking about a Private company? This is what you are arguing for looks like. I can't. |
cococandy:Philips is smart but CNN is doing her a disservice by putting her on this show. They are platforming people who know they are lying so that they can get ratings. It's obvious Scott Jennings doesn't believe the things he says it's a game to him. Batya may as she doesn't seem too bright. But it does a disservice to the general public. I can't imagine someone being not smart enough not to understand that Scott Jennings doesn't believe the things he says. Schools should be teaching critical thinking skills. America is in trouble. |
raumdeuter:Verydarkman Arrested Over GTBank Loan Debit Complaint In Abuja Infoguy666:This is currently on the front page and happening in Nigeria. This is where what Trump is doing is leading to. This is what you are defending. It's people like you that makes Nigeria like this. |
I saw this last night and I was stunned that people could come on TV and lie or just not understand what they were talking about. The fact the Abby Phillip had to ask the woman if she understood that everyone in this country is guaranteed due process by the Constitution is insane. It reminds me this is all MAGA hears all the time every day. This was a bad look for CNN. Scott Jennings and this Batya woman show never been booked on this show. If they want conservatives on the show, they should find principled people who actually know what they are talking about. I wish someone would have asked Scott or Batya, how do you know if someone is a gang banger or here iillegally without due process? Are there signs on people's head that say illegal or gang banger? Yeah we know what MAGA think those signs are (brown skinned people). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adst2bZNFIM&t=1543s |
raumdeuter:Most indicators say that the Economy is not healthy. Everybody whose Job and money relies on predicting the health of the Economy thinks the Economy is not healthy and heading for a downturn. Yet Raumdeuter thinks the Economy is quite ok. Ask yourself why you are so invested in Trump and proving that him wrecking the Economy is actually not him wrecking the Economy. |
feedthenation:This is psychological abuse on the part of Trump. Waltz will have to go to the Senate to be confirmed. So Trump is putting Republican Senators in the position of having to support and vote for the guy who included a reporter in a chat where they were discussing an upcoming strike. And Waltz will be under oath. And this will happen in a televised hearing. Just Brutal. Trump seems to make people pay for supporting him. |
I always find the tribalism in these posts deeply odd. Do you understand you are here arguing which state is less underdeveloped? Anambra needs more development. Lagos needs more development. You should probably expend some of that energy pushing the respective leaders to get to work. |
Reading this article and it struck me as incredibly odd. Are we really in a world where Canada and Europe are forming an alliance against the US to protect "their" shred democratic values? When did "shared democratic values" not include the US? Canada’s history is a beautiful one of decisive compromise and coalition building, those distinct if unglamorous liberal virtues. This is why Carney’s acceptance speech on Monday night—“victory speech” would be an inopportune phrase, as it didn’t have that tone—was in so many ways ominous and foreboding and unprecedented in Canadian history. One would have expected him to tiptoe around the issue of Trump’s aggression or, on a night of triumph, to paint a happier or conciliatory face on it. He didn’t. “As I’ve been warning for months, America wants our land, our resources, our water, our country,” Carney said, bluntly. “These are not idle threats. President Trump is trying to break us so that America can own us. . . . That will never, ever happen.” Immediately, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, congratulated Carney and said, pointedly, that “the bond between Europe and Canada is strong—and growing stronger. . . . We’ll defend our shared democratic values.” |
cococandy: ![]() There is a certain catharsis in it. In every other site I've been in I've never had to block anyone. The mods did a decent enough job with the trollish trolls. Here.. the mods seem to be overwhelmed and the trolls seem to be esp. without shame. I am curious how this policy affects the site though. When some people see half their screen filled with empty posts will they change their behavior? |
ObaIgwe1:At one point he thought that the reason why he couldn't see posts because the spam bot was blocking them. Lol. The daftness. Blocked him too. Will reup his weekly. There are some posters where the time it takes to scroll past their posts is more valuable than what they write in them. |
Alaga2222:Wasn't feeling this post at the beginning, but it's a good point. There is an element of "managing" that is I think endemic to our culture that this site also represents. Respect what the site is, but surprised it hasn't advanced. |
Respect to her. Whenever I used to pull out my Nigerian passport I was almost always guaranteed a secondary screening. I have friends who get a Visa to travel to Nigeria instead of renewing their passport. Their argument is that a visa is easier to get, but I'm sure there's an element of the privilege of traveling with a US passport to it as well. I think it's wrong. Here's to the day, where our green passports are respected throughout the world. |
Levels of corruption. Where are all the people who were going after Hunter Biden for "selling" the family name? I wonder if Basilico is writing epistles about this as well. It's just eye popping corruption. Sitting in front of a packed auditorium in Dubai, a founder of the Trump family cryptocurrency business made a brief but monumental announcement on Thursday. A fund backed by Abu Dhabi, he said, would be making a $2 billion business deal using the Trump firm’s digital coins.

I prefer not to block people, but I do enjoy being able to log on and having not to scroll through dozens of nutty posts written by even nuttier people. |
Texas Judge Strikes Down Trump’s Use of Alien Enemies Act to Deport Venezuelans Bonus for the MAGA: It was a Trump Appointed Judge. This whole use of the Alien Enemies Act was always ridiculous. This is one of the reasons why I believe judges should be able to issue nationwide injunctions. In a case like this why should justice be determined in which state you live in? https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/01/us/texas-judge-trump-alien-enemies-act.html?campaign_id=60&emc=edit_na_20250501&instance_id=153692&nl=breaking-news®i_id=75289398&segment_id=197120&user_id=41c9d58298cfae5beaf0adde0a0b0423

Some clips from the NY times story It's crazy that the El Salvadorian president was the one seeking assurances of who he was receiving. Behind Trump’s Deal to Deport Venezuelans to El Salvador’s Most Feared Prison New details deepen questions about the deportations, showing that El Salvador’s president pressed for assurances that the migrants were really members of the Tren de Aragua gang. As part of the agreement with the Trump administration, Mr. Bukele had agreed to house only what he called “convicted criminals” in the prison. However, many of the Venezuelan men labeled gang members and terrorists by the U.S. government had not been tried in court.https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/30/us/politics/trump-deportations-venezuela-el-salvador.html |
