goslowgoslow:Doesn't matter. The judge told them to turn the plane around. End of Story. |
bemeruca:You're too stupid to even understand what you are advocating. You are making the argument that trials and courts are unnecessary because the government gets to decide your guilt. Just put your dunce cap on already and sit in the corner. The point of the lawsuit and the Judge's temporary restraining order telling the plane to return was that there were people on the flight who sued and said they were not part of the gang. Hence their gang affiliation had not been adjudicated. But all this is too complex to understand for someone who can't even conjugate a verb. God, I keep forgetting how fuxing stupid you are. |
ObaaOfYorubaLan:You'd probably do well to pick up the US Constitution. |
bemeruca:This post speaks to the breadth of your ignorance. Who is a gang banger? What defines someone so? And who makes that determination? And when that determination is made, does that person who is determined to be a gangbanger get to see and challenge the evidence and thus the determination? Who hears that challenge? The America you espouse is a totalitarian one, closer to what we see in Russia, than the principles the US was built on. Fortunately, you'll never be a citizen nor have the ability to vote. |
Zonefree:What does this even mean? The law is written so that the Government has to prove that people should be deported. If they accidentally/purposely picked you up and you were a US citizen or innocent, I'm sure you would want the "law" to allow you to protest that and not just be put on a plane and shipped to another country. We are all assuming these were bad people (and they may well be), but the way we decide that in the US is to let a neutral arbiter, the courts, hear the evidence against them. We just don't assume people are criminals because the government says they are. |
Thunderfayamods:Wrong. The plane was in the air. The judge told them to return them. They didn't. |
bemeruca:He said there is irrefutable proof. Lol So who judges if that proof is irrefutable? You see that word judge there? That is what the judiciary is for. And why we have due process. Idiots defending shit they have 0 idea about. |
basilico: bemeruca:Of course it's the two mentally ill Trumpers who have never stepped foot in the US who would be defending this. Easy to defend something when you'll never face the consequences. You two live in a country (though you like to pretend you don't) where people regularly get picked up by police never to be seen again or thrown in jail unable to protest why. It seems you two enjoy oppression. If anyone is a gang member and/or doing something illegal, the government should be able to prove it in court and/or follow established deportation rules. Everyone deserves due process and affording that right to even the most evil of us strengthens it for everyone else. |
AmazonTopaz:Imagine that a foreign leader is mocking our judges and that mockery is recirculated by the White House. “Oopsie…Too late,” Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, who agreed to house about 300 immigrants for a year at a cost of $6 million in his country’s prisons, wrote on the social media site X above an article about Boasberg’s ruling. That post was recirculated by White House communications director Steven Cheung. |
AmazonTopaz:This is lawless. And I don't think the media is doing a good job so far with it. I hear people saying why are Democrats upset that Trump is deporting gang members. The problem is, how do we know they are Gang Members? Because the Government says they are? How do we know that they didn't accidentally or purposefully grab a US citizen and deport them as well? Even if they aren't US citizens how do they know that these people deported were breaking laws and not random people with tattoos just pulled from the street? And if they were bad gang members that the US has in custody, what is the rush to deport them instead of following the established laws? That is what due process ensures. The right of people who may be innocent to have a chance to prove it. This is some very very dangerous shit. Seems like a good test case for other nefarious shit. As Democrats argue the obvious legal violations here and due process, Trump and co. can argue that Democrats don't care about your safety, they want Gang members to stay in the US. They understand that that will incite their base and give them means to more easily throw out minorities without legal recourse. |
bemeruca:He said look for woman to give you a baby.. lol You rolled up to a secondary school with lollipops and impregnated the first teenager that came up to you. Stop playing with me you fking degnerate. You a louse who pretends to live in the US, who's proud he impregnated a teenager, has kids he doesn't have custody of and brags about hacking people on Nairaland. If the word Loser was a person it'd be you. |
bemeruca:Just like running your mouth pretending to live in the US, you are running your mouth about an event you wouldn't have been even able to enter . My mates? My mates were at that party popping champagne as was I. Listen, It's an achievement to date a lot of beautiful woman and not have kids one does not take care of. Reevaluate your priorities and be a father to your pikin. Maybe take them to the beach.. it's free. This yahoo Akata boy life is a dead end. |
bemeruca:More or less degenerate than a guy who impregnated a teenager? Do you want a cookie because you convinced a teenager to have sex with you and couldn't afford a condom? It's not an achievement to have children you don't take care of. |
bemeruca:Sounds like you're a deadbeat "dad". Probably should have worn a condom those 4 times than have a child who thinks she's white because you hate your black skin. |
bemeruca:In your case, impregnating a teenager 4 times didn't make you one either. |
bemeruca:All this energy you expend making this nonsense up, you should probably invest parenting the children you don't have custody of. |
bemeruca:What do you call a black man who wakes up everyday parroting the words of white supremacists and pretending to live in a country they wouldn't want him in. You'd call him Bemeruca. |
Obrigardo:At a loss at how much energy and time Basilco and Bemeruca spend on a land they've never stepped foot in. It will be an enduring mystery of life. |
The cost of DOGE USAID cuts
|
PDPGuy:Do you agree? I think for most of those things, they were Presidential decisions. Presidents have the sole power to do all that and Presidents appoint the CIA director, so should be fully aware of all covert foreign actions. If they weren't in the loop on those things, that is a big problem. |
cococandy:But people in this thread will swear up and down that it is merely a negotiation tactic. |
cococandy:He tried to play detective without the prerequisite skills. ![]() |
GloriousGbola:I thought that was also Jesus' message. Guess I have the 2020 version of the Bible and there's some new Gospels ou there in an updated one. |
atiku4President:Are you saying any color used in a pride flag should be banned? |
bemeruca:You were online right? Which account did I use? Lol. You're a dumbass. A Monumental Dumbass. |
bemeruca:Yes, when I get accidentally banned by the SpamBot (which happens regularly), I log into another account to finish posting. Hence why you see two accounts at the same time. A smarter person would have figured that out by now. But noone takes you as smart. But let's dig a little deeper. When I liked my own post, was any of my other accounts logged in? In fact, was any other accounts logged in? No, you said there weren't any others. There weren't even quest accounts logged it. So, did I hack Nairaland to like me own post? I see why you are a Trumper. Logic and Thinking aren't your strong suits. |
bemeruca:Tell me how I liked my own post if there was no guest and noone was logged in besides you and I as you claim? Do I have some special "Like" button for my own posts no one else has for theirs? I keep telling you, you are a dumbass. |
descarado:Bemeruca would know about that. He and his friend would log in from various accounts and like their own posts upward of 7 times. His original post which I ignored was to the effect "You liked your own post, no one else was logged in besides me(Bemeruca)". He edited it to what it is now(which still has the same problems) once he realized how stupid it was, given: 1.) I can't like my own post. 2.) If I had logged in with some pseudo account to like my own post, someone else would have been logged in besides him, thus the premise of his post and thus his post would make no sense. Bemeruca is one of the dumbest posters in this thread. Listening to anything he posts makes you dumber. Don't be dumb. |
I've liked to believe that I wouldn't be shocked by much that happens in the US nowadays. And then I see things like this. I am genuinely concerned by the level of racism being normalized in the US. If you believe there is something wrong with a sign saying "Everyone is Welcome Here", you should probably go do some introspection. And this is the same crowd that wants the Bible in every school. They should probably open it first. Idaho teacher ordered to remove "Everyone is welcome here" sign from classroom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv18DtVhLmk |

Are we winning yet? The country's air force has recommended buying Lockheed Martin F-35s, but when outgoing Defense Minister Nuno Melo was asked by Portugese media Público whether the government would follow that recommendation, he replied: “We cannot ignore the geopolitical environment in our choices. The recent position of the United States, in the context of NATO ... must make us think about the best options, because the predictability of our allies is a greater asset to take into account."

raumdeuter: Ex. Trump's metals tariffs his first term did more harm to the economy than it helped. It caused price increases and decreased production for products using metals. That is where some of that inflation came from. Anyone who owned a home during Covid knew how expensive everything got. Part of that was the metals tarriffs. An economic analysis published by the U.S. International Trade Commission, an independent, bipartisan agency, suggested that the overall costs to the U.S. economy from Mr. Trump’s first term metal tariffs outweighed the gains. Also, for the US to produce more metals like Aluminum they would need to build more smelters, which takes years to build and is highly energy intensive. With Trump trying to be the bitcoin capital where is that energy coming from? Trump's past tariffs and current tariffs have been and will be overall bad for the economy as he doesn't seem to understand or account for their reciprocal effects. |
