Like the exact time you say you were in the US?
You said you were in the US at 1:27am on May 6th. You posted your photo Album of May 6th. Again, tell us when you were in the US on May 6th. If the photos are actually yours, did you teleport from Canada to the US and back to Canada?

I think the US has to acknowledge a simple fact. By Occam's Razor, Trump is a Russian asset.
Can anyone say a Russian Asset would be doing something different than what Trump is doing?
From destroying US's relationship with European allies, destroying US's relationship with it's regional allies, cutting off all US soft power in USAID especially in developing countries, destroying US research and development, tanking the US's economy and hurting Ukraine?

If Putin had a checklist of how to weaken the US, it would be exactly what Trump is doing.

Sorry, I was talking to you as if you were educated. My fault.
You should really invest some of this time to becoming familiar with some of the stuff you talk about instead of being reflexively Pro-Trump.

Below quantifies just the yearly financial costs, not even the cost of life of the many people who die yearly.
The national cancer-attributed medical care costs in the United States are substantial and projected to increase due to population changes alone, according to the Medical Care Costs Associated with Cancer Survivorship in the United States article, published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention (1). National costs for cancer care were estimated to be $190.2 billion in 2015. Assuming constant future costs, we project costs to be $208.9 billion in 2020 (2020 U.S. dollars), an increase of 10 percent that is only due to the aging and growth of the U.S. population. These cost estimates include cancer-attributable costs for medical services and oral prescription drugs. National medical services costs were largest for those diagnosed with female breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancers and non-Hodgkin lymphomas. National oral prescription drug costs were highest for those diagnosed with female breast, leukemia, lung, and prostate cancers. The differences in national costs reflect prevalence of the disease, treatment patterns, and costs for different types of care for the different cancer sites.

What part of "I'm not interested in convincing you to believe anything" don't you understand?

I saw 2 people on NL argue about Biden's cognition. The leftist retařdinho was insisting Biden was sharp as a tack and only suffered occasional slips due to his age. That person quoted Jake Tapper and legacy media as proof that EVERYONE who met with Joe testified he was as healthy as health could be. No matter the arguments made by the more logical right-leaning person, the leftist never agreed.

Do you think said leftist has changed his mind today? What do you think would have been the clincher?

Yup, that's my new MO when debating fools who cape for legacy media.
You must argue with very stupid people that you think each and everyone of your diversions work.
You've employed mostly of all of them at this point.

Some random guy on twitter vs the President of Harvard University where some of this research happens.
Tell me, who do you think is more of an authority?

Court Pause on Trump Cuts to Medical Research Funds Is Expanded Nationwide
The federal order temporarily halts the Trump administration’s plans to slash $4 billion in overhead costs for research at universities and medical centers into diseases like cancer.

Universities hold a starkly different view. The funds support scientific breakthroughs that “are becoming more frequent and more consequential,” Dr. Alan M. Garber, the president of Harvard University, said in a statement on Sunday.

“At a time of rapid strides in quantum computing, artificial intelligence, brain science, biological imaging and regenerative biology, and when other nations are expanding their investment in science, America should not drop knowingly and willingly from her lead position on the endless frontier,” Dr. Garber said.
...
In a legal memo related to the lawsuit, universities argued that the funds were indispensable in research, including at facilities where lab animals undergo clinical testing, for the computer systems that analyze large amounts of data, for blood banks and other expenses that cannot be directly tied to a single project.

If the funding cutbacks were to survive legal challenges, the plaintiffs wrote, “research laboratories would literally go dark for lack of electricity.”
Smaller institutions, they argued, might not be able to sustain any research and “could close entirely.”

Congress thwarted an earlier effort during the first term of President Trump to cut indirect research funding. Lawmakers added measures to budget bills to ensure that the funds remained at the levels agreed upon by researchers and federal officials.

You spend hours and hours writing pages of blather whenever you get asked for the evidence for some claim you make.
If you are as logical as you say you are instead of wasting all that time explaining why you won't post your evidence, why don't you spend less time and just post it?.

Isn't that how logical debates work. You make a claim and you back up that claim with evidence?
You seem to be content with the "making claims" part and fail spectacularly with the evidence part.

Good piece on why everything that Musk doing is illegal

Gift link <https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/04/opinion/elon-musk-trump-constitution.html?unlocked_article_code=1.1k4.7bkr.qCrhFpwI4ubV&smid=url-share>

There Is No Musk Exception in the Constitution
...

Mr. Musk’s power also is squarely at odds with concrete constitutional provisions. While the Constitution is largely silent on removal — Mr. Trump’s arguments that the Constitution gives him limitless power to fire are atextual — the document is quite specific when it comes to appointment.

Supreme Court cases make clear that individuals who serve in “continuing” positions and who exercise “significant authority” on behalf of the United States must be appointed consistent with the Constitution’s Appointments Clause. As far as I can tell, Mr. Musk hasn’t been.

The Appointments Clause — part of Article II, the source of Mr. Trump’s virtually boundless conception of presidential power — sets forth two methods of appointment of what are called “officers of the United States.” “Principal” officers must be nominated by the president and are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. For “inferior officers,” the Constitution allows Congress to give the appointment power to the president alone — that is, without Senate confirmation — or to the head of a department, or to the courts of law. Inferior officers must be subject to the supervision of someone other than the president; if you report directly to the president, you’re a principal officer.

This means that the individuals who wield the most authority — principal officers — are subject to both the public scrutiny and the check that is supposed to be imposed by Senate confirmation.

Mr. Musk appears to be wielding significant power, as evidenced by his presence at the administration’s first cabinet meeting last week. He was the first to speak after the president’s introduction. He boasted about pushing federal employees to respond to an email about their work, inveighed about the federal deficit and casually disclosed that his team had inadvertently canceled funding for Ebola prevention — an error he claims was quickly rectified, but may not have been. The email he mentioned appears to have been dashed off without advance warning even to the cabinet

name anything tangible the Dems have achieved with all their useless funding, usaid is a large embezzlement scheme, same goes for the unwinnable war between Ukraine a Russia ,there homeless people littered all over the states but Democrats care more about war far away from their shores .
Huh?
USAID was a bipartisan effort that was funded through Congress.
The current Secretary of State Rubio was a huge proponent of it. Going as far as to say it needed more funding.
Every programs has some corruption but USAID was probably one of the more tightly accounted for programs.

I see Ukraine differently.
1.) We should be paying Ukraine for what they are doing. They are fighting a war against Russia, weakening them and we are not losing any troops in the process.
2.) We eventually want Ukraine's minerals and grains. At a minimum we want to keep them away from Russia.
3.) We also were able to send Ukraine a lot of our old decommissioned weapons and clean up those stock[iles.
4.) Though we allocated the funding to Ukraine, a lot of that money was spent making weapons in the US. In fact it was spent in a lot of Republican districts making those weapons.
5.) The war has allowed us to test our weapons against a geo poltiical adversary who was supposed to have good weaponry. It also allowed us to see how new battles will be waged. Indispensable knowledge.
I'm sure that's how the politicians who gave the money saw it as well. And I don't think it's a terrible use of money if you're thinking it from that perspective.

You talk about homelessness, how do you want to fix that without funding?
Google the GI Bill.
The VA.
A lot of the programs that are so indispensable in our lives that you don't even know benefit you, the Dems created through that funding.
Once they are cut, you'll understand. But you should understand what it's like as I assume you've lived in Naija at some point.

It is what they believe.
If a person performs/speaks what they do and believe in, what is that?
Dems genuinely believe in those causes.
Trump is cutting funding to Cancer Research, pardoning J6 felons who hurt police officers, and screeching about rape while being credibly accused of Rape. His actions do not match his words.

I'm not arguing the clap.
Dems are trying to fight a battle with someone who lies when he is talking.
They are unaccustomed to fighting this way and will make some mistakes.

I'm saying that you should do your research and if that image meant so much to you, you should support the policies and programs that allowed that child to live.

If they lose Dems will gain subpoena power and can investigate all his scams.
That alone is enough to keep the propaganda going.

This is a good discussion of what is happening because he cut funding to Congressionally approved organizations overnight.

Trying to use a sick kid to show the country that those who didn’t clap don’t love the country while simultaneously taking away chances for sick people to get better leaves a bad taste in the mouth of anyone with discernment. Maybe if people stopped entertaining his insincere photo ops, he will stop doing them And focus on things that don’t hurt the country.

But left to me, since it’s involving a kid, I would have kept it cute and simple and wished him well. We’ll talk about the cops who died by suicide another day. Not this moment. I do believe in an appropriate time and place for everything. So in my impression it was distasteful.

If Trump lost on freezing Congressionally appropriated Foreign Aid, he will lose on freezing Congressionally appropriated Domestic Spending.
Foreign Aid is a place where the constitution gave him some power.
I want to read the ruling when they make it, but allowing a President to do this is akin to a line item veto.
Why would Congress negotiate anything if the President can then choose what to fund, sending money to parts of the country he wants to.
Would make negotiations in the Congress mute.

Foreign aid ruling: The Supreme Court rejected President Trump’s emergency request to freeze nearly $2 billion in foreign aid on Wednesday morning, saying a lower court judge “should clarify what obligations the government must fulfill.” Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the three liberal justices in a 5-4 vote. The case focuses on the U.S. Agency for International Development and aid the administration halted on Mr. Trump’s first day in office. Read more ›

Had a similar situation with an airline customs agent who wanted me to pay 300k (waited 15 minutes before the flight left to give me that offer) to get on a flight because he said I didn't have a visa I knew didn't need (visa on arrival).
