raumdeuter: Now 70% of families look back to those 2018 times and wish it could be back given that its worse now. You will need a little bit of education to understand that people can think $2:50 for gas in 2018 was bad until the get $4:50 in 2022 Now reflect back to those 2018 times and wish its back
You cannot reason logically, those are the basic things a proper education will give but you dont have one, you are toddler intellectually
You're not embarrassed yet? You posted an article of a stat(50% of Americans struggled to afford housing) that you said proved why people thought the economy was bad. But that same stat existed under Trump's economy which you said was so Amazing. So, which is it? It does prove my point. Feelings aren't facts.
But you remind me of some older Nigerian men I know. You know those men from the older generation. Those men who feel they are incapable of being wrong. They marry people who never tell them they are wrong. Probably scared too. And so when they are wrong, which they always are, they gaslight and lie. So they have noone in their life who can speak wisdom into it.
That's you. I can't imagine the type of people someone like you could have in their lives. Probably the reason you spend hours upon hours online
raumdeuter: You are a complete reetard if you actually think people are complaining about other people and not themselves These are reports about the number of people struggling to pay rent/mortgage but this iddiott thinks its their neighbors they are worried for
I've tried with you. Everything you post is some emotional tripe. There's no critical thought, just post after post trying not to be wrong, which you most likely are.
This is an article from 2018 under Trump, the years you said everyone was doing better and the economy was great. Again, what is the difference? Nothing. But it proves my point you emotional child
ObaIgwe1: I already told you that if the only way a person can measure economy is through inflation and feeling, and your argument is based only on that, then you won and we have no argument. I know and Kamala also admitted that many people are still feeling the inflation impact of covid. That was why I responded to Ijebos that the best Kamala can do is to explain to these illiterates that she will fight those behind illegal price increments and that she will also put more money in their pocket through tax cut, child support and elder support. These are smart ideas that will move those who only understand economy through inflation and feeling. I think this is why she has almost wiped out Trump's lead on the Economy in the polls.
But, I think there is even more to it than that. I don't think there is much policy Kamala can make or do to change that perspective, because that perspective isn't rational. I think the generalized feeling is partisan just like everything else these days.
Fortune did a piece where they found that while 54% of people had an optimistic view of their financial situation, only 37% of people had a positive outlook of the US economy. Think about that. It's even contrary to what Raumdeuter is talking about. People aren't feeling they can't pay their bills, they are feeling other people won't be able to pay their bills. Just odd.
It's the same thing that happen pre and post Trump taking office. He downed the economy and so everyone trashed it, the minute he won he said it was the best economy and people started discussing it as such. He even tried to take credit for the economy before he got into office saying it was better because people knew he was going to win.
Americans’ economic pessimism contains a strange paradox: They’re feeling great about their own personal finances ... The latest report to highlight this confounding attitude, an inaugural consumer sentiment survey from KPMG, found that 54% of Americans were optimistic about their financial situation, while only 37% were hopeful about the country’s economy overall. KPMG’s study, which surveyed 1,100 people across the country, is the latest to find a significant divergence between Americans’ relative optimism about their own financial health and their pessimism over what many consider to be a teetering economy. That split between individuals’ confidence in themselves compared to the economy has been prevalent for a few years now, even if it does appear to be diminishing, at least according to KPMG’s data. https://fortune.com/2024/05/30/economy-personal-finance-consumer-confidence-inflation-unemployment-jobs/
IjeBos: How successful can someone like you be in the US? You don't believe in Education. And you think feelings are facts. You remind of these local Nigerians who land in the US and fail out because they are too proud to learn anything.
You are is the antithesis of everything success is.

ObaIgwe1: You see what many of these ignorant folks do not know is that if US carries out mass deportation of all undocumented migrants in US, the economy will immediately contrast. Where are the people to replace them at the factories they work, in many of the hospitality businesses and at the farms? In every community including American communities, there are always few bad eggs... what is needed is to identify these bad eggs and put them away.
I listened to John Legend who is from Ohio, on this Springfield Haitians Migrants. Under Trump, a number of the local factories closed down, and some of the youths moved to the cities leaving few elderly people and some lazy youths in that community. When Biden economy picked up, many of these small factories began to operate again, but there were only few lazy workers available... Until some Haitians who are ready to work moved there... Because of the high demand for workers, the few Haitians there invited more of their people to Springfield, that was what led to high influx of Haitians Migrants to Springfield. So they went their to work and rescue the community labor drought and not to practice voodoo, if you pull them out now, many of the small businesses there will fold.
100% right. The Haitian immigrants actually saved Springfield. But the city leaders didn't plan enough for what happens when a city that was contracting starts expanding. Of course social services were taxed. Same with the migrant workers on farms. Look at what happened to Florida's agricultural industry because of their new law.
The immigration system needs an overhaul esp when it comes to Asylum claims. But we can't have a real national debate on it. Just catch phrases.
raumdeuter: Every responsible adult pays bills and buy things, they don't depend on their parents like you. So if 2/3 of Americans say they are worse off, I believe them. They live this life and know what they are saying
Its because you don't have a job, no education, no family, you are still a dependent at your age which is why you don't know how real life works
Get out of your parents basement, go outside, touch grass. experience the real world, get a good education, get real friends, get a GF, start a family. then you will know life better
raumdeuter: Sure, 2/3 of Americans don't know how to do their budget, maybe you can help them with their personal budget.
These people don't realize the fact that their lives have been getting better but they are not as educated as you to know that their economic lives is better
Reetardd
I'm glad you were honest about how you go through life. But, let me give you some free life advice. Feelings are not Facts!
I understand why you are a Trump supporter now, you've made it pretty clear. You believe people don't need to learn things, they can understand things through some form of just being. And you Believe what people Feel are indeed Facts. You seem to go through life based on these principles, solely on your feelings. It's anti-intellectual and honestly as I keep saying you don't behave like a Naija dude.
Feelings Aren’t Facts Sometimes our emotions are difficult to understand and trust.
Emotions are at the core of our motivation: they are our muses and they are why we continue on with life even in the face of disappointment or disaster. You may know many emotional people, and you may be one yourself. Being emotional is not a bad thing. As a psychotherapist (and a human being), I believe that emotions are a good thing.
Over the years, many of us learn to accept, enjoy, understand, and trust our feelings. After all, it worked for Luke Skywalker. And who would want to give up all those warm fuzzies? The problem is that sometimes we only feel the cold prickly emotions, those that are scary or painful. It helps to understand that sometimes our emotions may not be telling us the truth.
Upon occasion, every now and then, some people get a feeling that isn’t real. They may think that it’s real, it may feel very real, and they may truly believe it’s real, but it’s just a feeling. It is wise to remember that, as important as emotions are, feelings aren’t facts. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/emotional-fitness/201310/feelings-aren-t-facts
bemeruca: Feelings are facts. their feelings are shaped by what they can afford. 90% of the media gaslight them with how good the economy is but where they cannot gaslight them is when they go to the pump or when they buy milk. for some reason, you think about what the people can afford, how much they can save, their buying power, etc. does not matter because data is on paper. the reality is the gasoline price, eggs, milk, housing, etc.
These so-called articles do not put food on people's tables. 2 out of 3 people say they are not going in the right direction so there is some disconnect between people in the real world and the data you are presenting.
If those people did their budgets I'm sure they'd have the same percentage of money left over that they did before 2019.
As most people get older they learn to reconcile their feelings with facts. They understand that some of the things they fear may not align with facts and try to move their feelings toward those facts.
It seems a lot of Trump supporters like you live in a world where feelings are facts. Because you think it, it makes it so. That isn't real life. It's called delusion and the inability to escape your fears.
raumdeuter: The same data says 2 in 3 Americans say their life economically is worse now than it in Trump times, but you being an uneducated buffoon will probably tell them they dont know what's happening in their lives
Take a sec and figure out what you are arguing. I'm not sure you can even articulate it. You seem to repeat the variation of the same thing that we should pay attention to feelings not the economic data.
Feelings are not facts. Feelings can be largely shaped by what people hear, hence why advertisements work. The fact is the all the economic data says people have the same purchasing power as they did before the pandemic... meaning people's salaries have went up enough to pay the increase in prices.
It's quite interesting that on one hand people like you will say Harris won't be a good President because she'll rely on her feelings, but your whole economic argument relies on feelings. And you are calling other people uneducated?
There has been a lot of article on this. And some link it to a broader trend of people valuing vibes over facts. Something consistently done with the undereducated Trump base.
One:
How can we bridge the gap between economic fact and economic sentiment? A new report sheds light The UNDP's latest Human Development Report considers why there is a gap between data showing improving economic conditions and negative perceptions about the economy. The untethering of economic facts and vibes may be part of a broader challenge of misperceptions about facts and what others think. Recognizing this challenge as part of a broader pattern of pervasive misperceptions could be an important step to addressing the economic and other gaps between facts and vibes.
What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!! pic.twitter.com/tYYlTmQS6e
raumdeuter: Somehow the majority of Americans are not buying this
They know they were better under Trump. You can argue they are not as educated as you that is fair. When almost 70% of the country are saying economy is better under Trump so much that Clinton is echoing the same thing, That Obama is claiming credit for it.
So much that Kamala stopped mentioning Bidenomics in her campaign. One of the weakest point in her campaign is Economy and that is where voters view Trump as strongest
That is why Kamala doesnt want to talk about Economy because this admin has not been up to par to majority of the country
You are in Nigeria and I can also tell you that the Nigerian economy under Tinubu is doing great. You and others living the reality are not just educated enough to see it
ObaIgwe1 made a good point and you come back with the same rehashed "trust your feelings not the data". You are exactly what Trump has wrought and the reason the US is in trouble. People like you rambling on about feelings when the data says otherwise.
And can you tell me 1 metric anyone in Nigeria could use to claim Tinubu was doing great? It's such an asinine comparison, but it goes to your mindset. You have 0 idea what you are talking about. Just rambling on.
ObaIgwe1: Everything is not just about "feeling it", especially to the educated. This is part of the reason why Trump attract more of the uneducated people. Now we can debate as intellectuals and look at principles, facts and figures that shape economy or as ordinary people and talk about feeling.
The complaint is not about availability of jobs... No administration has produced this number of jobs under 4 years in the past 50 years. The complaint is that they are still "feeling" the high cost of groceries. But if you will be honest with yourself as an educated person, you know that Biden didn't cause the inflation. It was a global phenomenon when covid caused most production to close down, then supplies couldn't meet demand, and basic economics tells us that in that scenario, price will go up.
But don't just dismiss experts when they tell you that the economy is going stronger now simply because people are not "feeling it". A boom or a crash do not happen overnight. Yes many might not feel it now but eventually they will. Only a novice thinks the of process for rainfall started overnight... educated minds know for a fact that the process has been long way coming.
As for Trump economy achievement, I will leave that debate for another day. But for the record, Trump did nothing and covid made it worse, what people 'felt' had nothing to do with Trump policies. Fact remains that there were job loses and many business closure under Trump even before covid. The guy had the highest deficits in decades and inflation started under Trump before covid... But this kind of discussion will be for someone who wants to look at economy numbers and not just how people are "feeling it".
Let's take it even a step further. A study was done recently, that families had the same buying power as we did pre covid/. The problem is because the pandemic accelerated the prices so fast, we haven't adjusted to the increase in our heads. Wages have went up comparatively.
Ex. went to buy some donuts yesterday for an event. Noticed the prices went up. Then noticed a sign on the door. They were looking for workers at $19 an hour. I was somewhat surprised. At the wage and that they were looking for employees at that wage. $19 hour for a Dunkin Donuts employee is much much more than that person would have made in 2019. So that person would be able to afford the increased prices in the grocery store.
There is always inflation. The question is inflation going up faster than wages.
HitRun: This is a welcome development. The cost of flight, accommodation, and feeding is sometimes three or four times the cost of the passport renewal in the US, unless you live in or close to the cities with consulates. How would they do data capturing though?
You can also travel to Nigeria with an expired passport and use some of that money you save instead of going to a US embassy to expedite it.
One thing that surprises, well not really, is the inability of Harris and Biden to talk about how good the Economy is. They have let this doom and gloom propaganda set in while this is probably one of the best economies in the last 50 years.
Whoever wins the White House next week will take office with no shortage of challenges, but at least one huge asset: an economy that is putting its peers to shame.
With another solid performance in the third quarter, the U.S. has grown 2.7% over the past year. It is outrunning every other major developed economy, not to mention its own historical growth rate.
tctrills: This makes no sense. Poverty in states is a very different thing from cities run to the ground. What the democrats have done is to take really wealthy cities and run them to the ground. Let's use District of Columbia as our example. It's by far the richest district in the US. It has a higher gdp per Capita than Monaco, and Luxembourg. Yet it has one of the highest poverty rates and its poor are majority blacks. Note, it's GDP is $259,954. So really you have no point. The democrats are lucky to run the richest states and cities as of present but we see how they run them to the ground and turn them to hell for black people. detroit was once the richest city in the US untill your people turned it to garbage.
Minority neighborhoods on Chicago's South Side and West Side face poverty rates of up to 51%. This also used to be one of the best cities in the world and it is still one of the richest places on earth. In New York City, 23% of Black New Yorkers live in poverty, This is the greatest city in the western hemisphere with a black mayor. Now who is keeping the blacks in slavery? Dems or the GOP?
Look at this list of richest cities. Notice something. The ones in the US are all Dem run outside of the Texas cities (oil money).

He said Democrats are lucky to run the richest cities. Ha. No, the cities are the richest because Democrats run them. The same mentality that makes a place successful is the same mentality that makes a city successful. Concepts like believing in Science, Education, expertise and Diversity of ideas and people. It's not a surprise that most of these cities are port cities as well.
But the success of any city comes at a cost. It displaces people who can't afford to keep up with the rising prices of housing/etc. Simple Supply/Demand. So, some of the poverty you see is a by product of the success. Most of the housing in DC is ~1 million dollars if not more because of all the lawmakers and special interests vying for places to stay. It's called gentrification.
So, black people should leave the Democratic party that won them more equality and the right to be seen as human and move to the Republican party that thinks black people are animals, that black people are taking their jobs and where the states they run are the poorest of the poor? Sounds ingenious. A study of US history and civics would help you. Google Tulsa Oklahoma or Black Wall Street and you'll understand who it was that kept black people from generational wealth. It's the same people that bombed that city you say will help Black people out of the poverty trap they put them in.
The majority of Economists and Economic/Business Papers are saying the same, yet Bemeruca and Raumdeuter know better. But they do have PHD's in Bullshit.
bemeruca: This idiot wants illegal migrants to vote. you don't know the constitution more than the SC. If you are not a citizen of the US you cannot vote. that is a federal law. the Virginia law does not apply.
trolling is a good profession and it pays well. I hope you are recording the time i have spent today.
He said Virginia law does not apply when the Supreme Court upheld the Virginia Law over the Federal Law (NVRA). Exactly, what I am talking about. Zero idea what you are talking about, just spreading misinformation right and left for the benefit of a paycheck.
bemeruca: Dude keep quiet. The decision only prevents noncitizens from voting. if they have problems with their registration they should go and fix it. blaming the decision that bars noncitizens from voting on this is nonsense.
So 60days before an election, a lot of illegals are allowed to register. Nonsense
Today, i planned to spend more time here and you better get your excel spreadsheet ready
Because your deep understanding of either the NVRA, the Constitution or Virginia law informs your opinion? Of course not. So, STFU, you dumb, lying, propagandizing sack of shit
You don't have a job outside the money you collect for being a paid troll here. So, of course you'll be here again for 24 hours posting misinformation and disinformation.
tctrills: It's the opposite. Blacks like you have refused to think. You continue to be locked in the democrats plantation. The worst run cities in US all have democrats as mayors. Start using your brain and learn to think for yourself. Fyi, Trump remains the biggest supporter of Israel, he can't be a Nazi.
These are the states with the lowest poverty rates. As you notice all but one is Republican.
Republican states are by far the poorest, least educated, have the lowest life expectancy, etc. etc. In fact Republican states are welfare states, they get more money back from the US government than they give via taxes. So Blue/Democratic states support Red/Republican States. In fact, counties that voted for Biden accounted for 70% of the US GDP. Those that voted for Trump accounted for ~30%
But, it's the Black people who are on the Dem plantation, rather than the White people who generationally vote Republican even though they are generationally poor for it? It seems you want black people to not only go back to bondage but be economically poorer for it as well.
In a 6-3 decision, the United States Supreme Court has ruled that Virginia can remove illegal aliens from their voter rolls.
This is a reminder:
If you ARE NOT a United States citizen..
Then you SHOULD NOT be voting in United States elections.
Period.
End of story.
Don't you get tired of these lies? There were American Citizens whose voters registrations were purged due to this purge. The post you quoted even talks of one. I would say, if you only had read the story, you'd know. But, I'm sure you did read it and it's just part of your job requirements to lie.
The NVRA (National Voter Registration Act) law is clear. There can not be any work done on voter rolls 90 days before an election. The reason is because Voting should be sacrosanct and there wouldn't be enough time to fix any errors if a person legally eligible to vote was kicked off. The Supreme Court knew the law that Congress wrote and overrode it. That is not their job. They have moved from interpreting law to outright deciding which laws they want to follow and which laws they don't.
As I said, you are a functional illiterate who posts propaganda for living. You don't have a fundamental understanding of US government to be able to speak on its workings. You aren't even American nor have ever been to the US, despite all your lying. Afterall you think there are many branches of government (There are just 3).
Yesterday, you were on here for 24 hours from 12am Nigerian time to 12 am Nigerian time the next day with 37 posts just in this topic. The crazy part is that you don't live in the US, have never been to the US and have no discernable connection to the US. But you spend day and night here spreading lies and your "misspokes". Can you imagine what it takes to wake up at the crack of dawn everyday to write lie after lie about a country you have 0 connection to? It would be insanity, unless it was your job. So the question is, is the troll farm paying you double time this election season?
The Supreme Court is making up laws and rewriting laws and precedent on a case by case now. This ruling broke all precedent.
Imagine if the word "votes" were changed with "guns" in this ruling. Imagine a situation where a State purged the registration of legal gun holders because they thought that there may be some illegal gun holders in that bunch. Do you think anybody on the right would be ok with this ruling?
Why is there a greater right to own a gun than there is to vote in the US. Breathtaking ruling by this Run Away Supreme Court.
bemeruca: You are 50 years old, no kids and still talk about ex girlfriends. You are a waste of life 😂
You also take photos of your coke and chips when you manage to dine at a restaurant.
You mean something like this? Lol. You couldn't even afford the coke and chips, just a crappy hotel room and the free bottle of water. Yet you had this image as your profile pic on all your profiles. Lol
I can't with you. It's as if you have this image of yourself in your mind that is betrayed by everything you write and post.
bemeruca: Lol, I made a mistake and i accepted and said i made a mistake but you won't take it? lmao, go on and argue with yourself. the context in my statement is there and i clarified what i was talking about.
have you written to Wikipedia yet?
Instead of wasting your life on this thread pushing propaganda, pushing your uninformed take of all things America and pretending you're in the US, why don't you pick up the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and read them so you won't always sound like the stupid inbred you are.
bemeruca: Mumu, there are many branches of government. I can search on the constitution, and it will come up with zero match. You see a fool, a special kind.
The Constitution talks about officers of the United States and civil officers, which could broadly apply to various positions. If your argument is to go search shadow senator in the Constitution, then you are uniquely dumb.
What does the US Constitution has to do with Puerto Rico aside from freedom of speech? It's not a state yet. You are as dumb as a rock. Despite explaining her senate position to you as it relates to Puerto Rico and the United States you are still confused. You are so dumb. Again
This post. When you are functionally illiterate and don't know it.
He said there are many branches of government he can search the constitution for and won't find a match Bwaahhahaahahah I laughed so loud I spit out my coffee.
Holy Shit. This statement This MUMU has 0 idea what the constitution is or what it does. The Constitution literally sets up the government... in detail. He doesn't even know there are only 3 branches of government.
As I said, you're too stupid to know what you don't know. You have 0 foundation on US civics or government yet spend your life running your mouth on it.
bemeruca: You don't have anything to say right? so rest. you and lordreed can read this till you understand her position and who she is and why she was elected
You don't have the foundation nor intellect to even to begin to understand what you are reading or posting. There was a time when stupid people shut up. You're too stupid to even understand this thing you keep reposting makes you look stupid.
bemeruca: Hence shadow senator. you are the one calling her fake senator lol. the US government is setup to recognize her position. Tell them that she is fake senator. they don't know again, you are not saying anything new. I have already explained to the idiot lordreed the point of her position, complain to Wikipedia for calling her a shadow senator. she was elected to hold that position
Again. The US government does not recognize Shadow Senators. As The US government is set up by the US constitution. The Constitution does not recognize Shadow Senators. You have 0 idea what you are talking about because you are an idiot who barely understands the things he reads.
