I can partially agree. I think there were two groups of arguments.
1.) The people that said he directly said he wanted people to shoot her.
2.) The people who said that his continued use of violent rhetoric against his opponents serves to normalize violence against them.

But I also think his comments were purposeful in order to ferment hate against her and normalize violence against her .
I don't think for 1 second he was really trying to make a political argument against people who want to fight wars. As he could have made that argument with people who he intends to put in his administration if he wins.

That poll was shocking. Even more shocking is that this is a really really really good pollster. Very Accurate. They even predicted Trump in 2016.

It seems there is some real anger in Iowa over Abortion and Republican rule.
1.) Iowa passed a 6 week abortion Ban before Roe was overturned. The Supreme Court sustained it. One of the Judges who upheld it is on the ballot this election. Seems women are pissed about it and this is the first election after.
2.) Republicans trashed Iowa schools which Iowans took a lot of pride in. It was one of the top five schools in the nation at one point. They have underfunded it.

Not sure she will win it, but this is a very serious poll.
