So, how did this policy cause the low gas prices in 2017? He took office in 2017.

2.) How does a boom in US supplies dramatically decrease the Global price of energy when you have OPEC and Russia colluding to set prices? Esp. when the US imports a lot of its oil. Explain how that works.

3.) Biden suspended new leases on lands to start new exploration. These new leases weren't producing oil. It takes awhile to produce oil.
But Trump made a deal to cut production of oil from places in countries that were already producing oil.
You're argument seems to be Biden stopping new production on fields that haven't even been started yet is worse than Trump cutting production on places that were producing oil.
You see the cognitive dissonance there.

This is why I call you an illiterate.
For things that you write to make any sense people have to not have an understanding of how oil is produced, how oil prices are set and how economics work.

Your argument is that Trump came into office and made some magical policy (you can't name) and that gas prices started going down immediately.

That is an illiterates take of how prices are set in the GLOBAL oil market.
There was no policy Trump could have made to reduce oil/gas prices in the short term as the price of oil/gas is set globally and we single handedly can't ramp up production enough to influence it in the short term.

But what we can do is decrease production with the rest of the world to increase oil and gas prices.
That is what Trump negotiated.

Every few weeks you go back to this illiterate's talking point.
All the while you have yet to name 1 policy you think Trump made that helped reduce oil prices.
