You know that's why all the training manuals say that you ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SHOOT AT MOVING CARS but prioritize getting out of the way because you can't immediately stop a moving car by killing the driver or shooting the car.

But the training manuals were written by people who did finish high school.

So, if he was trained that he shouldn't be shooting at a moving vehicle because it doesn't stop the moving vehicle.

This is not the movies. Shooting someone who is driving a car does not immediately and suddenly stop the car.
Part of the reason that officers are TRAINED not to shoot cars and focus on getting out of the way.

Read it and maybe you can understand why the two situations were different.
Why it was appropriate to shoot Ashley Babbit and why it was inappropriate for the ICE agent to shoot instead of just moving out of the way.

I think a lot of so called "conservatives" in this thread seem to speak out of emotion and don't fully understand what they are arguing.

In the US even murderers get trials. Disobeying a police office does not give them the right to shoot you. Police are not juries nor executioners.
The only reason for the police to shoot someone is to prevent a physical threat. Not obeying your commands is not a physical threat.
The only reason for that officer to have shot her was if he felt she threatened his life and he had to shoot her to stop her.
So, it makes no sense to shoot a moving a vehicle coming toward you as those bullets won't necessarily stop the vehicle from coming in your direction.
And so it is murder to shoot someone in a vehicle when that vehicle does not pose a physical threat to you. i.e. you are to the side of the vehicle that is driving away.

The only question here is whether the officer was reasonable to believe his life was in danger when he made those shots.
And you can ask the question when he leans over the car to fire a shot from the side of the front windshield of the car and 2 more from the side driver window of the car while the car was driving away, is that a reasonable believe the car was a threat to him?

I'm even trying to understand why they put this video out. Looks like it hurts the officer's case.

1.) The woman clearly turns her wheel away from him. I can see it in the video and if he is in front of the car he would have seen it to.
2.) It seems that he lunges toward the car when it moves. If you are scared for your life, why are you moving toward the danger?
3.) He calls her a b* afterwards. Will speak to his state of mind in that moment.

So much going on that does not make sense.
Why is he videoing with his cell phone? They don't wear body cameras? If you feel the need to have your cell phone out why not just get a body camera. Unless you don't want to have the body camera videos be able to be subpoenaed.
Also if he is videoing the car, that would seem to mean he doesn't feel like he is any particular danger.
Also why he is blocking the car from the front. Again, seems to mean he doesn't perceive any danger from them.
Hard to believe the officer thought she tried to kill him.
And he is very poorly trained.

From that hole, iuf the officer was in the front of the vehicle, the bullet would have been to the right of the driver and missed them.
The ICe agent shot from the side of the vehicle toward the rear passenger quarter panel/trunk area. That is the only direction that bullet could have travelled through that vehicle from that hole and had any chance of hitting the driver.

But this isn't about facts or physics or anything logical.

2.) This is a picture of the 1st shot. The white "smoke" is the windshield cracking. Notice where the officer is and notice where the front wheels are pointed. You can see he is toward the side of the car in the 2nd picture before he fired. After this he fires again when the car has driven fully past him.

It is murder. But you'll spend hours defending the indefensible in support of a racist pdf file like Trump.
