3 times increase vs 70 times increase

Which is greater

How many of the leftist who agree with you live in the US

Talk about cognitive dissonance
You're here trying to pretend that (leaving out the fact Obama made his money legally while out of office) making 4 Billion while in office isn't 100 times worse than the millions Obama made outside of office by asking childish questions like is 3x greater than 70x while the rest of the world is agasp at the sheer amount of Corruption that has come to light. Even Conservatives.

This is from the Conservative National Review. And the House inquiry didn't even find any of the alleged corruption like what is Trump is doing now they spent years talking about.

House Republicans even opened an impeachment inquiry, which generated a scathing report on the “conspiracy to monetize Joe Biden’s office of public trust to enrich the Biden family.” The sum generated over several years of Biden self-dealing — “over $27 million” — flashed in neon throughout the report’s 291 pages. Republicans were especially incensed because the Bidens practiced their harlotry on foreigners — in particular, agents of China. Family avarice, rather than the national interest, drove United States government policy.

The House impeachment report thundered:
Joe Biden has exhibited conduct and taken actions that the Founders sought to guard against in drafting the impeachment provisions in the Constitution: abuse of power, foreign entanglements, corruption, and obstruction of investigations into these matters. The Committees [sic] investigative work has revealed that the Biden family — with the full knowledge and cooperation of President Biden — has engaged in a global influence peddling racket from which they made millions of dollars.

You know what the difference is between the Biden family business and the Trump family business? You’d have to add two digits to the sum of Biden abuses of power, foreign entanglements, and corruption alleged in the report to get near what Trump has raked in just from the UAE.

Of course, Trump can’t be faulted for obstructing congressional investigations. There haven’t been any. Comer is busy tangling with the Clintons, the better to take the Epstein heat off a president whose poll numbers have declined as this year’s midterm elections beckon. Now that self-dealing has achieved heights so astronomical that $27 million would barely be a rounding error, Republicans have lost interest.

The lid was blown off the sordid Trump-UAE story by a blockbuster Wall Street Journal report last week. By then, we’d already learned about President Trump’s shocking pardon of Zhao after Zhao helped orchestrate the UAE’s $2 billion purchase of the Trump crypto enterprise’s start-up stablecoin; and thanks to prior WSJ reporting, we also knew that Zhao had contributed Binance expertise to help WLF’s crypto infrastructure.

The new reporting reveals that Sheikh Tahnoon and the UAE were silent partners in the WLF venture from the start, seeding WLF with $500 million and technical expertise (much of it provided by yet another agent of the UAE regime) just before Trump took office, and a few weeks before WLF launched its stablecoin venture.

You should go tell the National Review that the 70 times increase they claim Biden made is less than the 3 times increase Trump made so it doesn't matter.
The nonsensical things Republican write.

Step 1: Trump posts racist imagery
Step 2: All the self-hating black people in this thread line up to defend said racism
Step 3: The less self-hating Republican black people and most every other Republican understands how racist it is and denounces it.
Step 4: Trump who never backs down finally understands he went too far, his administration blames an intern and he takes it down.
Step 5: All the self-hating black people in this thread are left to continue to defend said racism despite Trump taking it down revealing how deeply self-hating they are and that they will swallow anything in their defense of Trump.
Step 6: Go back to Step 1 in a few days with something else.

Trump is truly a mirror into people's souls.

Everyone on this thread knew about percentage from primary 3.

So now you cannot tell who was worse a president who did 3 times his net worth and one who did 70 times

This is really embarrassing.
1 Dollar to 1,000 Dollars is 1,000 percentage increase.
4 billion Dollars to 8 billion Dollars is a 100 percentage increase.
Which increase would you rather have?

This guy thought he was cooking with his percentage argument.
He went online and heard someone say Obama made a greater percentage than Trump so Obama was more corrupt and thought he'd cook online with that.

Trump and his family has made 3-4 BILLION from his presidency so far. Your argument sounds like one can't understand the culture in 64BC Rome because one can not live in 64BC Rome. And the evidence for your claim is the dúnce b's here who don't even seem to have an understanding of the culture they've always lived in.
Sorry, but I don't agree. And perhaps that's because I am very not like those 2, because unlike them, I can pick up a book and learn about cultures of places I've never been, or ask Ijebos who lives in a culture to educate me about the culture of a place he knows.
But you can't fully. One of the reasons I had to study Latin was to be able to translate texts without the filter of a third party to be able to better understand those texts myself in regards to stuff like ancient Roman Culture. Even then, I was still translating someone's interpretation of the culture.
We only understand Roman culture through a filtered perspective of it through artifacts/texts.

As for driving, I think it would be very stup¹d and ïgnorant to drive in any country like one drives where one lives. And only a foøl would jump in a car without first observing the driving laws and culture which obviously involves being in the place since you can't drive in Lagos while in Boston.

I drive myself in Nigeria or get a cab or bus so that I can get out and walk, which I enjoy because it immerses me more in the culture, instead of sitting in traffic. I plan well to avoid traffic whether driving or other transport. And if my plan fails, it's a lesson learnt for next time.

We are different, Ijebos, so our milage differs. Take those bs and put them in a culture and I doubt they understand it any better in a million years.
I do the same where I can. I used to take keke often (before they banned them), which always befuddled my friends, because I liked to be closer to the culture. But that is because even as a Nigerian who spends time there, there are still some parts I am blind to.

But I also spent this Christmas is Lagos. While there one of the constant discussions (as always) was how different Business Culture was and how it's easy to let Nigeria change/corrupt you.

But ey, I think it boils down to our definitions of "understand". For me it's much deeper than what can be read in a book.

I don't drive everywhere in UK and I don't drive everywhere in Nigeria, but I definitely do not abandon all the driving skills I have and start driving like many do in Nigeria!

I plan my driving to avoid traffic, or get a bus so I can get off and walk if the bus is stuck in traffic, which I can not do if my car is stuck in say, Lagos traffic. But thankfully, Lagos is not the only Nigeria, and nor must I stay there. There is no traffic in the Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun, so I can very freely move if I drive there.

One does not have to behave or reason like benalvino3 just because one got on a plane and landed in Nigeria!
You are making my point.
There is a different culture(let's use driving) in Nigeria that you have to first understand to know how to maneuver it when you land in Lagos. And it's hard to understand it if you've only lived in the UK. And if you didn't understand that culture was different than in the UK you'd try driving in Lagos like you did in the UK. Honestly, I've accepted that Lagos driving is the way it is so in order not to be super frustrated, I have a driver while I'm there and let him run mad.

I also have to be able to understand how benalvino3 reasons when I land in Nigeria, because there are a lot of people who reason like him there.

I don't have this issue, by the way. I carry my British way of thinking and doing things wherever I go, and refuse to stoop to whatever the Nigerian level may be.

But that's me. Milage definitely differs.
One example, unless you still drive in the UK like you did in Nigeria, that means you don't drive in Nigeria. As in, if I drove the way I do in the US, I would barely move in Nigeria.

I saw South Bay Center and wondered who was posting it. I was at the the Target there yesterday.
And of course it's Basilico spamming the forum.

This is why people who don't have perspective about the US or have never been shouldn't probably be on right wing media posting their propaganda.

1.) Paul Revere Transport is a Boston based company: The giveaway should have been the "Paul Revere" in the name. But Paul Revere is someone you'd know if you went to school in the US or had a rudimentary understanding of US history and the Revolutionary war.

2.) South Bay is very close to the center of Boston. It's in walking distance from the University of Massachusetts Boston and Northeastern and about a 20 minute train/bus ride from at least 10 or more other Universites and Colleges (Harvard, MIT, Tufts, BU, BC, Berklee, Wentworth, Simmons, Wheelock, Emerson, etc. etc). If they needed someone to protest ICE they would not need to Bus them in from outside Massachusetts. Trump is universally reviled in Boston and surrounding communities esp. among college age people.

3.) It's rather insane to even think there is any other city not in Massachusetts in the area that would be more protest minded than Boston, MA that they would be bussed from.
It's actually apt that some would be transported on a Paul Revere bus.

Pretty incredibly vapid post (the only kind Basilico knows how to post) clearly meant to fool people with fewer brain cells who don't have a rudimentary understanding of the US.

Good read.
Trump is a self-inflicted wound. And what we are seeing is the tip of the iceberg in terms of US losses because of him.

Europe just started building a ‘kill switch’ for U.S. tech — and the market isn’t priced for it, says this strategist
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/europe-just-started-building-a-kill-switch-for-u-s-tech-and-the-market-isnt-priced-for-it-says-this-strategist-8dd51d4b
“The main event is this: the world is building optionality away from U.S. policy and platform dependence. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it — because it’s showing up in procurement decisions, supply chains, defense budgets, and capital flows,” Tuttle says.

This trend has meant big gains for European defense stocks for example, as the Trump administration is no longer seen as a reliable military ally. But there is another important shift underway, Tuttle reckons: “It’s digital sovereignty — and it’s quietly becoming the civilian version of rearmament.”

From Europe’s perspective, digital sovereignty means that if relations with the U.S. worsen then communications and core systems can’t just be turned off. “If alliances wobble, we control our own pipes,” he believes is the continent’s thinking.

And this is not just theory. France is pushing state workers to stop using Zoom to “guarantee the security, confidentiality and resilience of public electronic communications.” And Tuttle notes that the German state of Schleswig-Holstein has been moving public-sector workflows away from Microsoft-dependent infrastructure toward open-source / European-controlled solutions.

Are these government shops that people are renting?
If not, how can a Government dictate to a business when to operate?
If I'm not making money on a Monday, should I still open up?
Let competition determine which of these businesses fail and close.
If they aren't opening on Mondays and another business is, I'm sure the consumer will patronize the ones that are open.
