Igbos don suffer. Look at a poor ogbeni with decaying environment in his region, discussing how a region better than his own by far needs to develop. What an irony.

Take a look at the Abeokuta a state capital in your region and Onitsha, a city in SE...and see which region needs your recommendation the most.

Pic - Abeokuta

Pic - 2 Onitsha
Okoro Savage... the difference in the two pics is one preserved its own ancient civilizations and the other got none. cool Yet, they're all trooping to the one with ancient civilization. grin

These people claiming to be Biafra but the big scammer is traveling around on a UK passport and collecting money from ignorant Igbo people all over the world. This man is clueless, in the UK where he resides, we have the English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish all living in the UK as one country. I am an Igbo man and I have first hand knowledge of the evils of the Biafran war and Nnamdi Kanu was still in cloth diapers then. All Nigerians (Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, and all the other unrepresented minorities)must work hard to make our Union a better place for all. Who made you King my son, when your father did not renounce his throne.
One of the smartest Igbo in the world! Keep it up! cool

U are not even ashamed that 25% of yoruba land population are IGBO
It shows we're very accommodating and your leaders are the Savages. It also depicts the hardship being faced by you Savages. The whole of Yoruba-Lands including Lagos. Well, I forgot, you're an okoro and, can't comprehend simple grammar. grin

IGBOS Are found in good numbers in every single state on Nigeria and in every single country in every continent of the world. Travelling n settling in foreign land is just our way of life, stop trying to die because IGBOS are in the SW
This is what you Savages have been consoling yourselves with! Rubbish! You ONLY run away from your own father's land when it's NOT habitable and under-developed like the way Africans and other 3rd worlds run to Europe and the U.S grin Backward bunch of Cannibals! cool

killemslim:
If you got a trust worthy and understanding friend or family in Canada/US, send them money to get you affordable used cars over there and ship to Nigeria. especially American/Canada used Toyota Cars for a start. you sure will get your buyers when your price is a little lesser than car stand dealers. That's one sure thing i know you won't take any losses for.
I won't recommend that! An average Nigerian can't afford the actual cost of standard 'Tokunbo' cars (Not the high-mileage ones). UNLESS, there's a ready customer. A standard 'Tokunbo' car (driven with basic 9ja care) should at least last 5-yrs before exhibiting any common/basic 9ja problems. Anything less na rubbish.

A friend saw a local 9ja-driven car for N2M and would like to send the same N2M in $$$ equivalent to acquire a similar car in the U.S. The thing is, there're so many factors that majority Nigerians aren't aware of. Sure, I can get his choice of car for that N2M (logistics included) but, it'll be a very high mileage with little or low life left before it starts exhibiting the Real/common/basic 9ja problems.

After so much deliberation, I advised him to either buy the 9ja driven on or spend at least ~30% extra to get a standard well driven Tokunbo one. He went ahead with the 9ja one and after 7-mths, he got really frustrated, sold it, added extra money and sent to me to acquire a much better one. I did. He's driven it for >4-yrs and counting... Not a single major problem other than necessary preventative maintenance.

This is cost of logistics alone (Remember North America no be Europe... Distance): Let's assume it's gonna be a 2010 Toyota Corolla. Naira equivalent of $1 to N360

Cost of shipment from U.S / Canada: Container: ~$1300 - $1500 (N468K -N540K) depending on the part of the country. If it's not close to the ports, you'll have to spend extra to ship to the port ~$300-$600 (N108K - N216K)
Cost of Clearing (Clearing Agent) and Tariffs: ~N400K - N500K based on the size, year and model of the vehicle.

So, now do the math... (N976K - N1.2756K) alone for shipping and clearing... excluding the actual cost of the car itself. Of course, RO-RO is also another option but, the differential is gonna be <N70K

How many are in Osogbo? If you answer this, then you would know the answer to your stoopid question.
At least around 20-25% of non-indigenes of Yoruba Lands (excluding Lagos) are Igbo. Afterwards, una go dey claim "Igbos are well travelled blah, blah" Rubbish! That jungle must be really hard and tough for una to survive that's why y'all just seem to run away. Simple!

It's OK... at least there's a reason Africans and other poor nationals run away to Europe, U.S, Canada, Australia etc... grin grin
It ONLY shows the level of progress and civilization that we've achieved within the Yoruba lands. Our economic resources are able to comfortably accommodate you Savages that you guys even make a living. Now how many Yorubas are based in that jungle? <1% of course. cool

Ok, no problem but my question is why una Okoro Savages wan come die on top Yoruba lands? The rate of migration from your jungle to Yoruba lands daily no be small, you know. Yet, una go come on here dey brag and chest beat abt ur potor-potor republic. Rubbish!

There are more red mud houses in your waste land than in the East.

Your roads are not relatively better than those in the East. The worst federal road in this country is in your waste land.

Many of the bad roads in the SW are covered by mud, so what are you ranting.

Do you know the Court Complex at Ikorodu? The King of that area has his palace built with red mud and you can never see a single 3 storey residential building within that vast area.

Yorubas still do mud houses even in their cities. When it comes to sophisticated building, you know your waste land can't compete.

People that still build houses with red mud are the real "red muders".

Keep telling stopid lies.
Why una people wan kill themselves on top Yoruba land sef? Your potor-potor region dey abominable to live ni? Abeg go back to ur jungle...

My father has just N105.50 in his account and I'm planning to send him some N5K sometime tomorrow. He's very happy cuz he made very honest living while he worked. cool

Otedola's dad, Sir Michael Otedola was Lagos State Civilian Admin in the late 80's / early 90's and one of those that sold the Yoruba people for their selfish gains. Hope you're happy! undecided
