That's true! May God help us.

This Disaster Ministry is the reason why common stipend of Npower Volunteers are still yet not paid for over 2 months now since October.

I just wish there is a way to treat all politicians same way, for them to have a share of the feel.

Most visionary, hardworking, smart, intelligent, nation builders and value added Nigerians are out of the country, the only once left are just here due to financial and other strong factor holding him or her back. Under normal circumstances if they migrate, Nigeria will be in complete comatose with cannibals everywhere, no dream, no vission. Plagued in "Povertitis".

May God Help us!

Hmm! Money that should have been used to directly support the army of strong aspiring graduate entrepreneurs across the nation, and on the ground of merit! The economy will grow from across the clusters and employing more graduates and non graduates everywhere.

When the economy is set, strong and robust, every other sector including education will stand gidigba!

I will do that right away, I didn't not see them so I can't go and see d senior alhaji but I'm thinking of going to see him this week, I heard he was sick.

Go and see him, he will know. They know themselves in every territory. My coleagues own happened at night too. Dont just think anything, just go to the alhaji. Taking pictures and videos of the farm. He will even come n verify. Possibly inform area boys too, they will add pressure n threats.

Fulani only comply when superior force comes upon them.

So cows enter my farm today, it was very bad day for me, even if the damage was not that bad but I felt my country has really disappointed me today, I'm not giving up anyway. Dey ate the maize, I think it just one cow, seriously if I saw that cow I would have killed it or even killed the headsman with it because I was very angry. Something I have spent over 270k on, well I'm getting a security man ASAP. If not for this headsman agriculture will progress in nigeria very well because u can take two weeks before going to ur farm but with this hardsmen u don't want to leave ur farm. In my nxt budget, I'm included cameras and solar to power them, I will have a security house where my security men can watch and horn speakers to talk to them even if they are 15m away from my farm, this guys are very wicked, they just want to make sure we don't benefit anything from our farm. I will go as far as getting a court order to kill any cow that enters my farm and have their head sign it..... Its very painful to see ur crops eaten by some follish, stupid headsmen cows because dey feel their person is in power. I will get ready for them nxt planting season, dey should enjoy....

Just report to civil defense office . thats what my coleague here did. Though the senior alhaji in charge of herdsmen in the area later settled him with 50k for the 2plots of maize and he collected and forgot about civil defense process. Civil defense is in charge of agro allied infrastructures.

LOL. I mean grasses or Broad leaf, this are the two types of weed you should be seeing, don't worry It took me time to understand the difference, mostly broad leaf. Experience they say is the best teacher.

All types are there

Farmers, how do you manage using rain to grow maize? This year rain was so late. For example, if you apply fertilizer, and rain does not fall, what do you do? During the 6th week tassels start developing and there is no rain, what do you do? Or do you have a secret to force down rain? Just curious. Cos rain isn't stable. I think only roots and tubers can tolerate long period of drought. @ifedola28 @Inspectahdeck @ijemishkisic @Chiansky @

Personally, i dealt with armywarm very well in my farm until one woman said "na me fit them". But they dealt with me at first when i Never knew how serious they were, i got to know after a research.

I planted oba 98, Bondofa, Komsaya, champion seed and some of our local native specie in 13plots here in PH. Since they are army, i came to device the best way to deal with them using caterpilar force. They died mercilessly but after one week i saw them coming again with more damage than before. I got tired as i was then doing it all alone. I went back to caterpilar force and reapplied it again, they still came before tasseling but not much. So i prepared another six plots of land everywhere fed the maize with npk which i liquefied as it got blocked n wet. When army warm came i saw it and planed to spray the next 2 days, by the time i came, my maize were like small palm trees... Since they are army, i was fully ready to deploy both navy and airforce to wipe them out. Navy to me is using water n caterpilar force mixture and fired them as they died instantly. Few days later i deployed airforce being Rambo powder insecticide and sprinkle it in small qty on the funnel of the maize, for the ones that survived and new attacks... This i was doing every week nd my maize was smooth n fresh looking . as soon as i saw about of them tasseling, i fired urea. My neighbors farm was an eyesore due to amywarm, but she dont want to spend money.

My own story is much but CNT type all here. My first year in maize production. I thought hybrid will be bigger than our local native here. So i planted with all zest. Got a serious loss on the first plantation due to low yield in cobs. But the native comand respect by far than hybrid. I discovered that i will have to be planting native at the beginiof the year while hybrids at the other times of the year, at off season. Had i planted native initially with application of npk n urea, would have made real money as here then 3cobs were selling at N200
.....

But now am a master now with all the experience, am championing maize revolution through creation of maize forest to ensure regular supply throughout the year.coming to a lime light soonest.

We re progressing and will get there to change the narative.

Go n hire 2 plots of land and cultivate maize. U can get up to 4,000 stands of maize in 2 plots if u use standard spacing of 75cm between lines and 25cm between each stand. U sell each stand estimate of N30 or more per stand in the next 70days. Do the math.

There is money in the bush!

Nairaland / General / Re: My Stammering Issue Is Depressing Me by ijemishkisic(m): 4:06am On Dec 21, 2018
Even Moses that led the Israelites was a stammerer. I know of my 2 friends long ago that has same problem and they improved over time that no one notices it easily.

Practice calming down when speaking, also try to practice singing and reading aloud with calm composure.

Always eat cooked snails without salt or spice. Just take big snails on its shell, after washing u boil it directly on the pot. Then u allow to cool and eat it like that without anything added, then u keep using the shell to drink water as ur cup for like 2days and change another. Keep doing it as much as u can afford snails each day or some few days interval. It will help u over time like in 3 months.

Even many who talk freely without stammering always talk rubbish. So it doesn't matter ur stuttering, just be composed and stay strong.
Wish u the best!

Better let them change to Federal Road Commission (FRC) so that they can only focus on Construction and safety of Federal roads only. Because what I saw last 2 sundays in rivers state axis of east/west road, which is still one lane, I never want to see it again, dead bodies everywhere, mothers, fathers and kids shattered on the road with pools of blood, only few survived in a bus collision with an oncoming SUV in the same lane. The other lane is now a Forest as it was abandoned. These politicians! I just wished only technocrats should be in that National Assembly while the current ones should go and learn skills. Otherwise........

To me, this is very good! Giving birth in the US never even guarantee everlasting life to that child. You can be in any country and learn the American way if you want. Trump is indirectly telling everyone to take pride in themselves and their home, make it strong, and make it great again.

Every single person emigrating to or birthed in America is an extra expenses to their economy. Everyone mustn't shook head inside America to have a secured future.

Do your papers to go there and live, or you go for a visit/vacation and or business, no one will disturb you.

August 15th i was in that airport that looks like abandoned national monument. I just wish more Nigerians can go there and see the difference between the pictures here and the actual airport.

Nigeria! Still trying to start basic infrastructure since 1960.
If I become the President of this country for 4 yrs or so, my only target will be to achieve constant electricity by all means as any enemy to the vision will be jailed for life. Once uninterrupted electricity is achieved, every other sectoral development will fall in place like autopilot, be it industrialization, agriculture (production, processing and storage) digital revolution, science and technology, transportation, employment, etc

With 600,000megawats Nigeria becomes a power plant. Any subtle cabals and opposition will go to exile. Next president can come focus on another stride, just like that, and before the passing of next 20-25yrs, 1st world Nation alert will start ringing.

Great.... You remember d Nigerian poor (drug dealer suspect) they killed in Singapore some few years ago jst because he was caught with what their law prohibits?, TO ME THAT SHOWS OR MEANS IT TAKES REAL ZERO TOLERANCE FOR LAWLESSNESS TO BUILD, ORGANISE AND HAVE A GREAT NATION.

The law is for the lawless.
The youths need to do a peaceful and bloodless revolution for all politicians above 65yrs to go home and relax as statesmen, while they change the name from Nigeria to Republic of West Africa with full devolution of powers and young blood spare heading industrialization and everything beyond tribe and religion.

When I was a small boy, I used to think Nigeria must have been developed as I grow to adult. But today the dream was never near it at all, very opposite, I weep for my country!... Everyone just try to survive on his own. Long I removed my mind from Nigeria. While I live in Nigeria, am not in Nigeria at all.

Travel / Re: World's Longest Non-stop Passenger Flight Takes Off From Singapore To New York by ijemishkisic(m): 1:40pm On Oct 12, 2018
Wonderful!

On the morning of 9 August 1965, the Parliament of Malaysia voted 126–0 in favor of a constitutional amendment expelling Singapore from the federation due to political and economic dispute; hours later, the Parliament of Singapore passed the Republic of Singapore Independence Act, establishing the island as an independent and sovereign republic.

The vision of Lee Kuan Yew still on course. Singapore got independence in 1965 and transited from 3rd world to a 1st world nation, while "Naijigidiria" is still over-developing since 1960.... Chai!
