let me advice you the way I did my 3 bedroom flat, I took my plan to where I bought the iron rod, a guy there (welder), cut and bind it for at a cheaper price for the whole 3bedroom I think 5k, and I pack it to the site for 1500 naira, have already agreed with the carpenter 12k to do the lintel post+ pillar and the rest, all you will do is to buy the wood, let him give you the estimate of wood needed, go to sawmill and buy maybe 2by12 and they cut it where necessary at the rate of 20naira per one, my brick layer agreed 140k from foundation to roofing. But since you are not on ground just bring the quotation here experienced landlord will guide you, then you pay them to buy it all. It's better you buy the material since you are not using a building contractor at a particular amount,Note: before you view any quotation get a chilled water by your side. the thing the first person i gave money did not bring the first 10trips complete my engineer said so then i have to ask my mother to go and order for 10trips again her self to see if it true to my surprise to guy only brought 7tips and said is 10trips i have to tell the guy to stop coming to the site because i trusted everything to him before

see if you want to build your family must be there or you should make sure you supply materials yourself and allow someone monitor them, that's the fact.

very ok, but try negotiate to roofing stage to like 160k, I think u will be at the gain side.

I think that price partially fair ,but what most people always do is to dig soak away and buy few laterite to complete the filling, it depend on the state and site location.

Alo Zinc is the higher grade of the former pan (red star pan) they used in those days. But very durable and unrustable, a sheet is 2by8 inches in size. It comes in different colours.

So far, carpenters has been submitting there estimation.

I have #250k, #235k, #200k quotation of Materials., Excluding workmanship.

I intend to use Alo-zinc, which is much cheaper than both Aluminum and Slate.

One bundle is #15500 and there are 15 sheets inside a bundle.

But, if I can get durable and cheaper Aluminum or slate quotation I will consider.

which one is alo zinc?

this people can make someone crazy just try and get like 3 different quotations and compare, am at the roofing stage 2 mine is 3bedroom. Make sure u have chilled water beside u when perusing each quotation

Boss some of those contractors can give someone heart attack, I just cut mine cutting corners with site materials. The thing tire person jare.

I witness this during my msc days in ui, it happen at mokola roundabout. Na God see me tru, scammer everywhere.

he collected money 170k that he is going to help with civil defence job because he works with nscdc, it was later we we got to know he is a scammer, that he has collected money from so many people with fake promises.
