Johnrake69: Lol… Have you asked why he opened a Newyork office?
This was what he said in 2020.
Aliko Dangote said he will open an office in New York, United States, to help diversify his investments and avoid the risk of currency fluctuations in Nigeria.
So you think that he will store his dollars in Nigeria? Na imagination wan finish Una so with this Agbado economy. leave all this your unnecessary Shalaye Dangote dollars will stay in Nigeria. |

Passionnn: Prayer is not just enough. What is required is will power and that is lacking. Thttt art countries rhuch import fuel more than what Nigeria does yet their exchange rates are stable. Government policy over the years of reckless borrowing and printing of currency without sufficient back up is what wrecked the currency. Subjecting the economy to the whims and caprices of politics is the major factor. I'm talking about the Dangote and PH refinery. I hope the refineries will work before the new year. |

gidgiddy: I never did understand some people and their "one Nigeria" mentality. The white man brought you together, therefore you must die together? Laughable
What has your union, or unity achieved? Biggest black nation on earth? Na that one I go chop? Will it pay my children's School fees? Of what use is that title?
The unity of Nigeria has produced
1. The country with the most extreme poverty rate and poor people
2. A country in the list of top 10 most insecure and terrorised on earth
3. A country that is more divided now than before it fought a civil war that claimed millions of souls
4. A country where political fighting has become the basis of unity, rather than nation building
5. A country where things only steadily got worse since October 1960 to this day
6. A country where integration has never happened
7. A country where ethnic, religious and ideological flags are more important that the flag of the country its self.
The unity of Nigeria has been a disaster from start to finish, and like all bad unions, the option of divorce must be highly considered Instead of you and your people to vote ibos who will ask for independent from Nigeria, you people will be voting people like Obi and Otti, then you will come to social media and start disturbing our peace with Biafra talk |

Calitoscassius: Nothing will ever change, rather it will get worst.
Even if Dangote refinery start working, that is if it will ever work the naira will never recover, it will keep crashing nothing prices of commodities never comes down in Naigeria rather it keep going up. Corruption will never let anything work in Naigeria, Naigerians are ignoring the real Naigeria problem.which is CORRUPTION! As long as corruption rules in Naigeria nothing, i mean, Nothing! Will ever change for better in Naigeria.
You can keep praying all you want. Economy, refinery and a country are not run by praying. Johnrake69: You think Dangote will sell his products in naira? When Nnpc won’t sell crude to modular refineries in naira? I didn't talk about Dangote refinery alone, I wander why you guys are focusing on Dangote refinery alone. Well, when Dangote refinery start working, we won't need to buy from foreign suppliers again. |

Per capita income should be a better tool to judge an economy where people and business can thrive . Nigeria is not running to the IMF for a bailout like Ghana |

Politics › SBM Intelligence Rates Nigeria As Stable 23rd October 2023 by Ikaeniyan0(op): 7:03am On Oct 25, 2023 |
Nigeria has been rated as ‘stable’ by research and risk consultancy firm, SBM Intelligence, in its latest “Africa Country Instability Risk Index”, which assesses political stability risks in 47 sub-Saharan African nations. It stated that Nigeria was rated as ‘stable’ based on the overall macro indicator score. The report analyses political, economic, and social factors influencing political instability, emphasising the economic consequences for investors and governments. According to the report, major democracies like Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Senegal exhibit concerns due to conflicts, economic strain, and doubts about democratic legitimacy. “ACIRI employs various indices, including ethnic tensions, coup history, dominant ethnic groups, economic diversity, leadership longevity, and economic structure to categorize countries into ‘Red Watch, Warning, Critical, Vulnerable, Stable, and Safe’,” SBM Intelligence said in a statement. It noted that the framework served diverse stakeholders, adding that governments could use it to recognise and mitigate political instability risks, enabling the development of early warning systems and conflict-resolution measures. The firm remarked, “Transnational corporations can leverage ACIRI to identify high-risk countries and establish contingency plans for investment protection, facilitating collaboration with governments and other businesses. https://punchng.com/sbm-intelligence-rates-nigeria-as-stable/?utm_source=telegram&utm_medium=social |

Nigeria problem defy all form of economic principles.
When tinubu remove subsidy i was one of those who said the economy will be destroyed within a short time and it came faster than i even thought. Subsidy is not Nigerians problem but too much corruption and insincerity by corrupt government The Nigerian economy is not destroyed. The Nigerian economy is still better than Ghana economy. |

When we paid subsidy in billions of U.S. $$ - Naira was @700
Subsidy was removed in 2023 and Naira fell badly to N1200
What other evidence do you need to know that nothing thrives in the midst of corrupt and stup!d leaders?? I was talking about the billions of dollars spent importing refined petroleum products last year We are still spending billions of dollars importing oil |

What's the essence of saving in dollars?or you think dollars would keep gaining for the next 4 years lol look at the billions of dollars we spent importing refined petroleum last year 🙆 When the Dangote and PH refinery start working, it will really relieve pressure on the naira. I really hope the refinery will work |
