mrvitalis: One thing you have failed to understand is this Lagos growth is slowing down Abuja is picking up
Those headquarters can all leave Lagos in 2 years
Lagos have reached its peak... There is a reason eko Atlantic is empty
Well u might not understand in 20 years you would remember this chat You're just saying rubbish Why will the HQ leave Lagos? Can you agree with me now that you're just saying all this because of your hate for Lagos state? Work is ongoing at Eko Atlantic city as i am typing this with you. The US consulate project is ongoing as well as other projects. Lagos have not reach her peak, Lagos State is still developing just like every other states in Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: IGR Growth: "Abuja can beat Lagos", Senate says by Ikaeniyan0: 7:37am On Oct 26, 2023 |
mrvitalis: Firstly I am not in Lagos, have never lived Lagos
IGR is never a measure of an economy why can't you people know that
Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa yet do we have the highest revenue?
IMO state economy is bigger than Kano and Kaduna and even Ogun yet all have higher revenue Is this thread not about Abuja IGR overtaken Lagos state IGR in the near future? Well, Lagos State is far ahead of Abuja, no matter the indices you want to use. Lagos GDP is far larger than the GDP of Abuja. Lagos have more industry Lagos have ports Lagos have less people living in poverty Lagos have lots of business HQ like Bua, Dangote, MTN, Glo etc Lagos state is always going to be ahead of Abuja unless Lagos go the warri route. |

mrvitalis:
Lol one government policy can change that instantly
Truth is Abuja has not even started growing
Lagos has lost its number one appeal Abuja is home to all... Even I'm moving to Abuja next year...
Abuja is well positioned
There is a reason lugbe has developed more than ibeju and epe
Yorubas can keep Lagos the rest of Nigeria would build a new cosmopolitan city were everyone would be equal
There's a big reason a Yoruba woman was allowed to be senator in Abuja Your opinion is from the position of your hate for Lagos If you leave Lagos next year, no one gives a dam about it. As at now, Lagos state is far ahead of Abuja in IGR. Abuja is competing with Rivers and Ogun State. |

mrvitalis: Lmaooo Abuja already does more air travel
Abuja airport already has more traffic, diaspora population are choosing Abuja as point of investment
Abuja would overtake Lagos in less than 15 years Max Abuja airport has more local traffic, in terms of international travel, Lagos is still ahead. In terms of FDI, Lagos is far ahead of Abuja I don't see Abuja overtaken Lagos state in the next 100 years sef unless Lagos go the warri route. |

Brendaniel: They cannot produce the person, except the platform they used does that for them, like I said you don't know how the system works, so don't talk about what you know little or nothing about..... How the platform works does not matter in this issue. They are not suppose to use their bank account to facilitate crypto-related transactions. Is either they produce the buyers or they forfeit their money. |

So shurrup This is the problem with some of you, instead of you to focus on the topic at hand, you're saying rubbish. I won't be shock if you're one of the people who has been calling the president a drug dealer because his account was used for this kind of transactions in Chicago. |

They are not suppose to use their bank account to facilitate crypto-related transactions. Such transactions has been banned in Nigeria since 2021. If you also partake in this kind of transactions, your account will be flag and you will get in trouble. They will forfeit their money if they can't produce the buyer. |

Brendaniel: You obviously do not know how crypto and FX trading works, the system is designed to keep the identity of both buyer and seller private to a large extent, in FX you don't even know who, where and how the person is buying or selling to you.
You guys just come out and talk anyhow just to defend rubbish in the name of politics... Their money is gone if they can't produce the buyers, you will see. They are not suppose to use their bank account to facilitate crypto-related transactions. Such transactions has been banned in Nigeria since 2021. |

It's like saying somebody thief money con carry am go buy food or mobile phone, later now, them carry police go arrests the seller(s), as per say he or she sell their market. Make the bank go find who thief their money and leave business people alone. Even the bank sef, their accounts contain stolen funds. You better be careful with the kind of people you do business with. |

Well , the tweet below is what she had to say about Russia"s actions in Ukraine despite the fact that Russia was forced to close down a nuclear plant that Ukraine was shelling so as to create a Chernobyl tier dissaster .
Why has the EU now in total support of Israel's ongoing genocide of civilians ? She's a hypocrite Thank God countries around the world were not fooled when the EU and US was calling for sanctions against Russia |

AlexBells: Tinubu and Wike not just throwing the obvious lopsided appointment that have worst hit the North in their face, they are also making Abuja a defeated territory. For the First time Abuja is under hostage where Emperor Wike is emboldened by President Tinubu. It seems both Wike and Tinubu is doing what they wouldn’t accept in Yoruba and Ikwerre land respectively.
Having said that, Wike and Tinubu should continue the high wire political lesson in Abuja, I love it. But I wonder how long this would stay before the North is conscious. For us Igbos we no send Tinubu Papa, we no send APC, we expect nothing. Grow up |

Dangote is a Nigerian, is refinery is in Nigeria, when people buy his goods, he get paid and his money stay in Nigeria... The dollars stays in Nigeria. Nah common sense matter be this. |
