However, you have the option to directly contact the seller, discuss the price and purchase the car without getting me involved (I have provided the seller's phone number above), since most Nigerians prefer that option. But whatever happens after the purchase is between you and the seller, if you choose this option.

However, if you want to get me involved, to know everything that needs to be fixed on the car, to know what it will cost to fix all that, to seek my professional advice on the vehicle and/or to help you make the purchase (after you have discussed the price with the seller and agreed on a price), you can contact me on my WhatsApp line:. +2348095721703 or email: ikenna351@gmail.com

I saw this lion late this evening with "FOR SALE" price tag which wasn't on the lion before. I spoke with the owner. He told me he has made up his mind to put the lion out for sale, again. I suggested to him to give me permission to post or include his phone number in the adverts online, which he didn't want before, because of unserious people that would call to price clean cars ridiculous amounts and wanted me to filter them out and get serious prospective buyers for him, even if he would have to pay me for it.

I have also edited the first post of this thread to include the owner's phone number (who is also the seller). You can now contact him and deal directly with him.

However, just like I pointed out in the video & the video description , I didn't inspect this vehicle (Peugeot 307) I advertised on this thread and still have not, since the engine and transmission were not the specs my 2 clients that paid me to get a clean non abused Peugeot 307 for them at the time I published this advert, which was what drew my attention to the car in the first place. I stopped to check the car out, realized that the specs didn't match my client choices, took permission from the owner to take pictures and video of the lion to show my clients before publishing the advert publicly/online if they indicate no interest in the lion. So, I would recommend anyone interested to properly have the vehicle fully inspected by checking the electricals, the skeleton of the body for severe damage and mechanicals. I charge N20,000 for Peugeot vehicle inspections for purchase for people and there are other lion specialists in Abuja that may do it for you cheaper than I charge or may even do it for you for free. Do not assume that I certify the car simply because I placed the advert. All the lions I have advertised for sale for people, I indicated the ones I personally inspected and the ones I did not, in the adverts. If you still find my position on this advert dubious for indicating I didn't inspect the lion and for recommending inspection for any interested buyer, then you obviously prefer and support non-transparent and dishonest sales or transactions.

If interested on the lion, talk to the owner directly and find his number below:

The owner:. +2348033115002.

However, if you want me to get any clean non abused lion model of your choice at a service fee of N20,000. (Vehicle inspections inclusive), contact me on my WhatsApp & Telegram line: +2348095721703.

My engine steams on cold start

20w - 50 every time
Convincing me to do otherwise is gonna be difficult
Except for Benz and other high end luxury models

You just proved your position on 20w-50 oil for your vehicle wrong with the pictures you attached.

That's bluish smoke. A sign of weak Engine about to enter grave. The 20w-50 you have been using have ruined that Engine, as the picture you attached has proven (other factors may contribute).

This is why I mentioned earlier that most 20w-50 oil users or Nigerians that abuse their vehicles usually claim their engines or vehicles have no issues and running perfectly fine with the wrong oil or abusive maintenance, until they bring their vehicles to experts/specialists, only to be told their Engines or vehicles are Walking Dead.

There is nothing Wrong with 20w-50 oil weight, be it mineral or synthetic. It's not a bad oil. It's just not meant for all Engines, especially the newer or modern ones. It's too thick for them.

You are simply suffering from low self esteem hence you had to back out from the cartalk section. You are someone I used to respect but not anymore, especially with these trash you spilled.

Go back to dictionary and learn what the word 'certify' really means. With your reputation on Nairaland as an authority on Peugeot cars, I expect that when you put up a car for sale, there is no need to put a disclaimer that the advert you have put up does not certify the car to be okay? Do you understand the English language at all? You did point out some issues about the car, I took note of these issues and asked questions about how to resolve them in my earlier post but you choose to ignore them and spill these trash. You really need to grow up Ikenna, act like the man you want to be and stop being a sissy.

Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk

In the video, I pointed out that the person I met on the car, tinting the windows, told me who the owner of the Peugeot 307 was when I asked and it happened to be "Someone I Know". Since when did "SOMEONE I KNOW" means "THE PERSON IS A FRIEND"?. Show me in the video where I claimed the owner/seller is a friend? But you have to come out to lie to appear as a victim of dishonesty? The owner of that car is a Peugeot part dealer in Abuja and as a Peugeot user myself, I have purchased parts from him in the past. Does it make him my friend? Does it mean every Peugeot part dealer I have purchased parts from in Abuja is my friend? How could it be my friend yet I didn't know the owner of the vehicle until I asked, which i pointed out in the video? Your intention here is to paint me a lier that i know everything about the vehicle since you claimed he was my friend? Your logic and lies are astonishing.

Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk

The initial video you uploaded here was a clip where you did report the owner of the car to be someone you know and a friend of yours. You had to go back to edit that part out to make you look like a saint. That you had to stoop this low to lie further confirms my claims about you suffering from low self esteem.

Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk

No matter how honest ot transparent you can be, some people would still complain. Because the only thing they see in everything is negative. Very pathetic!

Ikenna351, Lion King - Monk

You need to work on yourself dude. Learn to love yourself, build your self esteem so that you can mix freely with others.

Just like the day I recently received a call from a white man from USA who told me he was contemplating on commiting suicide until he came across me online. He called because he wanted to hear from me how I could say No to all Religion, said No to Marriage, said No the popular car brands in the world, said No to Political correctness, Said No to Norm, Said No to Gynocentrism, Said No to Sex and still live in a traditional society or environment like Africa and still live the life I lead that I proudly show the world online with the expected pressures and shaming tactics from people around me. Just like I told him, I am Who I am, because I don't give a rip about whatever any living and non living thing or being thinks about what I do, say, think or how I live this physical life. I was busy saving men from killing themselves with my activities online, while you are busy telling the world I am suffering from low self-esteem. Haha! I walked away from Car Talk Section for a long time to build The Lion Community I created/founded that now has over 30,000 members/participants globally, which only about 10% of the community are Nigerians for now, and in your imagination, you claimed low self-esteem was the cause of my absence. Like you claimed, I have low self-esteem yet about 250 people subscribed as my followers on Nairaland. I wasn't making sense, yet they all want to follow & read all my posts or whatever I have to say. Do you have any idea how many thousands of people that read my posts online, including this very one you are reading, including non Nairaland members? How do you think the over 30,000 men that are mostly non-Africans found me and follow me outside Nairaland, excluding the 250 that officially follow me on Nairaland?

It's funny how you claimed I suffer low self-esteem, yet my pictures, voice, personal details, videos and everything you want to know about me is online for everyone to see, read and watch. Instead, you are the one hiding behind keyboard, hiding your identity, and with no face accusing another man of low self-esteem. Such an irony!

You said you don't respect me anymore. What made you think I sought for your validation before? You think I cared about other people's respect or validation and chose to be a Monk, nonconformist and non religious? Are you sure you did not mistake me for another man because you sounded like you are just meeting me for the first time? Because since I joined Nairaland in 2010, I have never give a rip about people's opinions from the beginning. Why do you think the owner of this forum, Seun, asked me to help him moderate some sections of Nairaland? Do you even know how he begged me to help in sanitizing Politics section at some point when he realized how I maintained sanity in Car Talk Section as a moderator at the time for a long time all by myself? You think I cared what people think or say about me to be able to moderate those sections for him for the purpose they were created for? Look at the Car Talk Section now? You obviously mistaken me for someone else.

You claimed I edited out the Peugeot 307 advert video I uploaded on YouTube and linked to this thread, to look like a saint that I didn't call the car seller in question "my friend". Can you point the time and second in the video that I did the cut and join and republished? Because if I did, the video will show it (videos don't lie or hide these kind of stuff). Show the world that I am a liar, point in the video where it looks like I cut off a part or scene. Oh! You even said the initial video I uploaded. You mean, I went back to the video and removed it, days after I uploaded it and linked it here, asked the seller to re-pack the vehicle at the initial place I captured the initial video, asked him to gather the people that appeared in the initial video wearing same cloths so that the 2nd video would look like the initial video, for me to use the words "Someone I know" instead of "My friend" you claimed I mentioned in the initial video? Who exactly do you think is suffering from the so called low self-esteem to stoop this low based your claims above? Have even uploaded a video on YouTube before to know if YouTube allows creators to remove and reupload a different video on same video address/link? Hmm!

You are probably one of the GAZZUZZ arselickers/warriors that lick everything that comes out of his body as waste (his excreta and urine). He probably doesn't use toilet anymore since those his arselickers can swallow his stuffs and wipe his arse with their tongue, making sure nothing touch the ground. It's becoming too disgusting visiting Car Talk and see what's going on there. Weak men that have no balls to think and speak for themselves except what their master wants. Slaves! Yet, you are calling me the one with low self-esteem. Maybe, you are not of them (good for you, if you are not).

And don't worry, this Peugeot 307 advertised in this thread was not meant for you. The lion is even no longer available for sale.

Notwithstanding, please continue to pray for my downfall (you are not the first one, neither would you be the last). Just so you know, You Don't Create My Reality!

Won't bother responding to anyone in this thread anymore.

mammanbawa:

Experience is the best teacher
Over the years I've used numerous cars from different brands and none of them has failed me or the subsequent owners
Ikenna351 can bear witness to how good the 20w 50 is on his pug

I don't know what you are talking about. 20w-50 oil grade has never smelled my ES or modern Peugeot engines since I own them. If you are expecting me to bear wrong witness to your position on Engine oils on modern/recently produced lions, I will do the opposite.

Thread like this is why I advise anyone buying Nigerian used lions to always be prepared, for he/she is likely to replace the Engine, automatic gearbox or both sooner than expected. For non-Nigerians who follow me online and have asked me on few occasions if I was exaggerating with my position on how abusive Nigerians are towards their cars (car killers), this thread should serve as proof you are looking for, considering the people on this forum section are Nigerians expected to know better and guide the rest. It shouldn't be a surprise that the rate at which used/tokunbo Engines & automatic gearboxes sell in Nigeria is almost higher than that of quick wearable parts like brake pads.

Any Nigerian that chooses to run 20w-50 oil grade in their healthy EW, ES, TU, VTi, THP and PureTech modern Peugeot engines is an Engine killer. They would claim they have been running 20w-50 in these Engines for years with no issues until they bring their lions to you for diagnosis/repairs and one wonders what they considered "No issues" on already weak/dead Engines. Some of these lions with "no Engine issues" can't even climb small hills effortlessly without shifting down to almost the lowest gear (very low compression due to excessive wear of the cylinders). Some can't go beyond 500 km without topping up with more than a liter of oil. The level of ignorance among Nigerians on proper car maintenance is overwhelming.

Even as late as the '60s, '70s, including the '80s, Peugeot recommended 10w-40 oil grade for their X & Z Engine series (yes, I am talking about the 504s & co). Yes, those Engines can run well with 20w-50 because of their design/build to withstand such, but not with the modern lion Engines that have almost zero tolerance for the sake of fuel economy the majority demand.

Modern Peugeot engines cooling systems run as hot as 110 degree Celsius as normal. Their Engines and radiator Cooling fans start spinning at low speed from 97 - 98 degree Celsius for most of them. These Engines were/are designed to run this hot yet most Nigerians still claim our climate are too hot for these Engines, hence their use of thicker oil meant to run with 110 degree Celsius with the recommended oil grades. Not saying ambient temperature doesn't matter, but saying that doesn't call for 20w-50 on these modern lion Engines still, based on their designs.

My D9 V6 StickShift is 20 years old with over 200,000 km mileage and still run on Total Quartz 9000 5w-40 (same Engine & gearbox), and use the lion in the hotter part of Nigeria (North). Those who were privileged to drive the lion recently kept asking me if mine was built differently to perform better than other D9 V6.

You have the choice to use whatever you want in your engine as fluid, but do not use my name to mislead people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USE OF 20W-50 OIL GRADE IN MODERN PEUGEOT ENGINES. It would make sense to use it on already dead/weak Engine to borrow sometime before Engine packs up, but not in a healthy one.

Use Your Critical Mind.

PS.. Imaging somebody giving out there 2015 range rover for you to help do oil change... so 20w50 u go use for a 30million naira car....?

So someone (anonymous) claimed I abuse my (modern) lion with wrong Engine oil (20w-50) and you accepted he/she was telling the truth with no critical thinking of you if he was lying or telling the truth about me? So, to you, whatever anyone says about another man must be the truth?

THE LION COMMUNITY HAS 30,000 MEMBERS

Yes, as if today, 25/08/2019, The Lion Community has 30,000+ members, participants or followers online (about 10% are Nigerians for now), which comprises of lion owners, appreciators, admirers, etc., in various online platforms.

The Lion Community started when PSA Group has only 3 brands (Peugeot, Citroën & DS) until it expanded to 5 brands (Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel & Vauxhall), excluding Free2move & Aixam. It's been wonderful so far (thanks to naysayers). The foundation or primary purpose for creating TLC is for appreciation of lions of all the PSA group vehicles, irrespective of age, brand or model.

I recalled vividly given lions the title "CARS WITH ATTITUDE", after TLC (The Lion Community) creation based on my personal experiences and ownerships of some of the wonderful lions created from Peugeot 504 GL, 505 GL, 505 V6, 605 V6, 406 V6, 607 V6 and more to join. It's been nothing but blissful.

I am glad that what The Lion Community stands for resonates with a lot people, especially, those that live thousands of miles outside where it originated. The Lion Community does not follow the norm. If it did, the community wouldn't have existed or still exist. Some joined, some left and more are joining. It all depends on what the community does for you, what you do for it and when it no longer serves you.

As I wish PSA Group well in their expansion, I do the same to The Lion Community.

Drive With Pride!

Every 17th August will always remind me of the first day I said "Hello" to this world, in this physical time space reality. However, a lot of things I surround myself with keeps me in blissful mood constantly, making almost everyday a celebration for me. Some of them are my Lions. I know I have limited time to spend in this physical body. All I can say to you is "Be your own man and go for what you want, unapologetically".

Drive With Pride!
