For those who are surprised how bad Car Talk section has degenerated to, I am not. I really pity the serious minded ones that still try to be active in this section, depending on how many left in this section.

Even the most basic preventative maintenance work (engine oil change), I don't bother doing it myself anymore. It cost me only N1,000 to drive into a Total fuel station and have it done there, the way I want it done. However, no one has replaced my Peugeot 505 V6 brake pads, except by myself, ever since I own the lion from 2010 till date (both front and rear brake pads). Even the simple thing like changing the engine oil on that lion, I still do it myself. I have given the lion to only one 504/505 mechanic in Abuja for few strenuous works/repairs on the lion, under my supervision or instructions, but never brake pad replacements (maybe will start doing it in future). Not that the brake pad replacements are special work, but I enjoy working on that lion, more than my other lions.

It's very easy for some attention seekers to go online and lie against someone. But I really don't understand how people believe everything people claim online about others with no proof.

As for the ones claiming the Z9 V6 transmission conversion I did is a common knowledge and have been successfully done hundreds of times in Nigeria, it showed how ignorant they are and being boastful about it at the same time. Z8 is not Z9. Z8 V6 Auto was designed to be converted to Manual, but Z9 V6 was not (both mechanically and electrically). The mechanicals and electricals of Z8 V6 & Z9 V6 are completely different. Z9 V6 is wider than Z8 V6. Z8 V6 CV joints and drive shafts are different from Z9 V6. Z8 V6 has both auto and Manual Engine ECUs, while Z9 V6 has only Auto (no manual) engine ECU configured to work only with Automatic transmission. Z8 electrical is similar to D9, while Z9 is completely different.

To successfully do the conversion to work as if it was factory from new, I had to source parts for the conversion from 3 different lion models which cost fortunate to gather, start and conclude. I did the conversion so well that even automatic gearbox fault & PRND warnings are not showing on the MFD and instrument panel, which is usually an issue on 99.9% Peugeot cars converted from Auto to Manual Transmissions. Not even ABS/ESP ECU that is configured on the Z9 V6 to work only with Auto gearbox is showing any warning sign. Yes, I am that good with Peugeot electrical systems.

Converting a Z9 V6 is similar as Converting a D2 V6 Saloon from Auto to Manual. How many people have successfully done it? Where are your proofs? Even 407 V6 has Manual Engine ECU which makes it easier to convert than phase Z9 V6 with ES9A. It's possible that someone else has done it. I would like to know, not claiming what you have no clue.

Claiming that conversion of Z9 V6 to Manual requires only Peugeot 406 parts is a fooolish thing to say, not just being ignorant. It means whoever that made that claim have no clue what Z9 is made up.

Claiming that Z9 V6 automatic transmission is the most unreliable automatic gearbox in the world is directly saying all Japanese automatic gearboxes, including the ones in Toyota Vehicles, are the most unreliable automatic Transmissions ever produced in the world. You are so ignorant of Z9 systems that you didn't know it's a Japanese gearbox also use in Toyota Vehicles and other brands.

I am yet to meet any Nigerian that removed a perfectly working automatic gearbox and swapped in a manual gearbox, which was what I did. Yes, I am that crazy. I wouldn't be a Monk if I wasn't crazy.

Reason why I shared about this my successful Z9 V6 Stick-Shift conversion here in this section was because a lot of people are scared to do it, considering how Peugeot designed the Z9 V6, mechanically and electrically. If I could do it, anybody else can. All you need is courage and technical know how. No one online (globally) has successfully done the conversion, unless it wasn't posted online (or I am yet to find one).

Best you can do is hate me and my success. But you can never be me.

*TURNED MY Z9 PEUGEOT 607 PHASE II V6 TO A MANIAC - SUCCESSFUL CONVERSION OF AM6 AUTOMATIC TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION.*

The project of the new born maniac started on 08/01/2019 and ended on 30/05/2020 (17 months). A tough excited project, considering every part of the vehicle system was designed to work only with Automatic transmission (AM6), which probably could be why no one seem to have done this Conversion except me.

I originally set out to convert with 6-speed Manual gearbox, but decided to go for 5-speed Manual, since my excitement couldn't keep me waiting for 6-speed Manual box that was taking too long to locate. However, I needed to do the conversion to work with both 5-speed & 6-speed Stick-shift, Incase the 6-speed turns up in future. For that, I had to study or researched on parts for such conversion to be a reality. My findings led to parts from 3 different Peugeot models to make it happen. A tough challenge and excited too.

Almost everyone I told about the project said the project will destroy the car. Only Siena Gbuje in United Kingdom was excited when I told him about the project, in one of our discussions. I never listened or gave a rip about public opinion anyway. If I wanted something that has nothing to do with anyone else, it's done. It's a question of when.

30/05/2020 was the day I cranked the engine and it roared into life with Stick-shift box for the first time. The drive that followed after was unforgettable. The car now move like a different car: less weight, quicker, less fuel consumption and most importantly, *PREDICTABLE* , just like my other Stick-shift V6 lions. Words cannot describe the fun part of the drive. I get to now play with the pedals, while I watch the 3.0i ES9A 290 Nm torque surge the car forward like a maniac he has become. Thanks to the brand new Valeo clutch kit and Total Manual Transmission Fluid Gear 8 75w-80.

Even with the complex electrical system of the car, wired to work only with Automatic Gearbox, I did the Electrical part of the conversion so well that the car now work as if it originally had manual transmission from new. No warning sign on the instrument panel. The ABS, ESP, Variable steering, variable suspension, engine cooling fan, instrument panel, Multifunction display, etc, everything works the same way before the conversion took place the previous week (yet to make out time to reconnect the parking Aid though).

I now have the perfect Z9 V6, exactly how I wanted it from the beginning. The AM6 6-speed Automatic Gearbox was still running like new at 77,000 km mileage before I removed it, but wasn't part of my dream Z9 V6. As new and good as the transmission is, it's not for Lion King - Monk. It denied me self Expression Behind the Wheel I couldn't ignore or live with.

What about the original intention of 6-speed Stick-shift box? Few days of driving the lion with the 5-speed Stick-shift has been so exciting that I no longer care if I see or don't see the 6-speed box. Besides, I have other lions with more power and 6-speed Stick-shift I will be adding to join my current fun lions.

I can't wait to conclude other projects on my other lions as well. So many good things in this physical life for men to choose and enjoy. I mean, if you find life so boring or uninteresting, get rid of your car and get a fun one, for you can only find yourself in that frequency/condition when you surround yourself with boring things. Just yesterday, I took the new maniac for another drive, applied some skills on the pedals and gear lever and found myself screaming *YEEHAW!* I drove back home and closed the celebration with a bottle of 1759. I mean, I beat my chest, pointed to the car and said *I DID THAT!* (boastfully). One of the best part of masculinity which I am proud of.

I have done a lot of trips since after I shared this one, including with this very 505 V6. Except I hardly document the trips anymore with pictures. Though I captured few as videos, which is easier for me than taking pictures.

These days, I choose to enjoy and have fun with my lions more on trips than stopping to take pictures to share to others. Will see how it goes.

You know , we see a lot of thing in Nairaland these days

The world is waiting

There was a time when this Car Talk section had a lot of logical adult males who were vastly experienced and knowledge gathered on various car brands based on their first hand experiences, ownerships, diagnosis and repairs of these brands, for private and commercial. Most of them have left the section/forum for good or not active in this section anymore like me.

Majority of what we have now are men who see everything they can't afford to buy or maintain as bad. When I was as boy, the adult males back then were wishing to be bigger than they were, to be able to afford good things in life they desire. But the men we have today prefer to remain where they are and then condemn every other good thing as bad that are beyond their reach, capacity or capability.

The current norm in Car Talk is "All Euro car brands/Vehicles are bad". Trying to debate that is like trying to tell a sheep to ignore the voice of his shepherd. The knowledge and authority they claim to have on the so called "all the bad car brands" are gotten from online opinions or perceptions. You hardly see people that drive V10 & V12 Vehicles complaining online about maintenance cost or fuel consumption, because they can afford it. What you see are hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of rants, whining and complaints from 3-4 cylinder engine Vehicle users, making V6 Vehicles a nightmare to own, not to think of V8.

At least, be happy you are not infected with the virus (or at least, not anymore). Don't waste your energy trying to disinfect them, for majority of modern men really don't want to be saved. Some virus are more deadlier than the corona and the likes.

For those that drive Volvo 760 GLE & 780 with PRV V6 Engines, you can source for the engine parts in Peugeot & Renault shops with older model parts.

One of the 240 conversion to pickup has been concluded. The 2nd one is still in process. Will first attach pictures of the concluded one, followed by the 2nd.

MEETING PEUGEOT 306 GTI-6 FOR THE FIRST TIME

Sometime late last year or few months ago, I was on Garki to Maitama expressway in my D9 V6 (I was gunning for it though). Then a Peugeot 306 hatchback joined the expressway from service lane in front of me and took off wildly. The way the car zoomed off got my attention, as the car kept fading away. So, I downshifted to 3 and left it there. By the time I shifted up to 4, I was already directly behind the 306. I didn't overtake because I only wanted to see the badge. Lo & behold, it was GTI-6. The very first time I saw one flesh and blood. So, I reduced my speed and the car varnished from my sight seconds later.

I was really impressed and still is. I didn't know the NA 2.0 liter XU10J4RS engine could be this quick in 306 (read about it in the past, but experience is different from words). At 165hp & 193 Nm power on 1,215 kg , I would love to test drive one someday. The fact that it comes only with 6-speed manual as standard makes it more interesting for someone like me. And I love revvy engines.

I saw the same car a 2nd time around Zone 7, I think. If you are the owner of the lion and you are reading this, I congratulate and respect. For others who want fun 6-speed stick-shift hatchback lion, you can also consider Peugeot 306 GTI-6, if you can find one. I have seen few 306 with XU10J4R, incase you want one if you can't find the GTI-6.

* HOW 20-YEAR & 2020 ANNIVERSARY OF MY PEUGEOT 406 V6 STICK-SHIFT WENT DOWN*

Drove the lion into a place and poured his favorite drink into the rear tank. Pulled out my own drink and poured into the stomach. Geared the lion into action towards expressway, where I played with the pedals and gear stick, as my own part, and let the lion do his own part, to do what he knows how to do best: Fun!

Each time I am on fun drive with the lion, I hardly use the gear 5 (the gear 5 would seem like overdrive gear on such drive). The Frenchmen may or may not know how to produce the best cars in the world, but they damn well know how to build fun cars. That, you can't take away from them.

My relationship with this lion is like man and dog. Unconditional love, even though the car annoys me sometimes. In return, he treats me well when I am behind the Wheel, most of the times. Simply put, we both understand each other, just like pals do.

The ES9J4S V6 Engine love to be revved. Thirsty when it does that, but the joy it creates makes that consumption insignificant. Like I said, I hardly go beyond gear 4 on such drive. I mean, I understand why Peugeot used the indestructible DMF on that Engine in D9, instead of solid flywheel, which takes care of vibration from the Engine at those high revs from reaching the stick box.

Apart from moment to moment experiences, memories help to perpetuate happiness, since you re-live those experiences as you remember them. Memories are created by choices we individually make. I can't create yours for you.

March 2013 was when this Peugeot 406 V6 SV Manual started to share my name too. We were meant to co-create these wonderful memories and experiences together. Just like a dog and his friend/owner, one of them will someday say goodbye to the other. Until that day comes, will always remember the 8 years adventures and fun we have had together and many more ahead.

A 20 year old vehicle that has proven to be one of the best reliable, durable & dependable wild fun animal Peugeot ever created. It's as if he hasn't aged at all. In fact, it's like the older he becomes, the quicker he is. You are not just a proof or testimony, but you also have shamed the naysayers that tagged Peugeot 406s as problematic vehicles. Truly, A Car With Attitude!

Oven baking any car in Nigeria for 250k is SCAM through unneceassary hype; don't fall for it.

If your car has no body work or has just little, maximum even using sikken and good materials shouldn't be more than N100,000. If it has much body work, highest shouldn't be more than N150,000.

Those referencing KENT that collects N250,000 which people blindly/scamishly claim "perfectly" oven bake cars will collect your money and use N150,000 max to do your job the normal way while they pocket your N100,000.

Be wise! !!

I have known about Lagos boy for years here in Abuja and have been to his place of business. And I know about his charges, but I still refer people to him because I see his work and the difference from others. He is not the best painter in the world, but he is way better than majority of car painters over here.

There are places you can buy a 60cl Guinness Stout at N400 in Abuja and there are places they sell drink it about N1,600 (like Traffic). Yet people are patronising them at that price (I visit both Traffic at Maitama and know). Does that make Traffic a scam for selling it N1,600 or so?

V6 & V8 consume more fuel, yet people still prefer to buy them and spend more in fueling them, even though they know 3-4 cylinder engines that consume less exist. Those that make V6 & V8 car manufacturers scammers?

Majority of Nigerians on Car Talk always portray this section as a den of poor people where any good thing in life that cost more is considered bad. Everyone is doing their jobs and earning their salaries or they are running their businesses and making their money. But when it comes to another man, he is a bad man for wanting to make money because you are the only one who is entitled to make money or profit in business? So you want the Lagos boy to paint your car for free by collecting only amount for the materials for the job, even if the 150k is enough to buy the materials? Did he point gun at anyone's head to give him car to paint and pay the amount he charges?

There are places where you can paint your car between 50-70k in Abuja. And there are places where they charge as high as 150 - 300k. There are people that appreciate quality work and can afford it. Make your choice and stop destroying other people's businesses.

One of my sister's drive only BMW and nothing else. She doesn't even use BMW specialist, but just a local BMW mechanic. Yes, she calls every once in awhile for advice when she suspects an issue coming up or when something really brakes down in the car. But none of them was complex issue. Just usual wear and tear. I have done few electrical diagnosis and repairs on the car for her. Even though I have zero knowledge on BMW systems, but I could figure them out because they are not as complicated as most people claim. She has never opened or replaced engine and transmission in her car, because they never gave her reason to.

I understand that when people abuse their vehicles, it's feels better to jump online to blame the vehicle, since no one knew the things he did on the car to be showing him pepper. From the little I know about that brand, there vehicles brake down or have issues just like every other vehicle does. No brand is immune to that.

I am not a fan of BMW. But if you really love to have one and can afford one, but scared of negative things people say about their cars online, your loss.

Yet people are blind and quick to condemn Peugeot vehicles as problematic, ignoring the fact that Nigerians do terrible things on their modern vehicles, not just Peugeots, and they quickly blame the brand or vehicle as the cause. This thread is just one of those that have proven even Nigerian Toyota users go through same headaches Nigerian Peugeot users experience when they mess up their vehicle systems.

Based on symptom you described, if it was Peugeot, I wouldn't bother much with scan, for it may not help in a case like this (not saying scanning shouldn't be done). Physical elimination or rule out will be my be focus by checking:

- Vacuum leak.

- Engine wiring connections.

- CTS.

- Cylinder reference sensor or synchronization with CKP sensor (Timing).

- Condition of Injection ECU.

Something is making ECU to lean out or inject excess fuel or cut off sparks in combustion chambers at high engine temperature, which is why it starts at cold temperature, but hard/non start at high. Ruling out the listed above will narrow the culprit (even though it could be elsewhere)

Since, you know nothing about cars, it's not something mere scan tool or guess work will detect. That car needs someone that understands how Toyota injection systems work to physically diagnose the car beyond scan tool. I am not that person. Find him or her. And stop wasting your time online trying to find opinions that could waste more money for you.

For those suggesting fuel pump/fuel pressure could be the issue, an EFI car engine that can run for hours without stalling but refuses to start immediately has nothing to do with fuel pressure or pump. For those suggesting starter issue, the symptom described didn't indicate crank issue at hot engine temperature. As for immobilizer suggestion, I have never seen immobilizer that chooses to activate only when engine is hot when faulty, as if it works with engine coolant and oil temperatures. To understand how modern car systems work, focus or spend more time on practical on Vehicles than online opinions. In some cases, they are two different worlds.

Unfortunately, the Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5w-30 (Emission System protection) recommended for most especially the VTi & THP Engines, has not been available since late last year in Nigeria. Unfortunately also, it was the only easily accessible oil for those Engines in entire country (apart from those who can order from PAN Kaduna). There is no other Engine oil I have seen recommended, since production and sale of the PSA vehicles with these Engines in Nigeria.

About 10 days now, two Peugeot 508 with loss of power issues were brought to my attention and my diagnosis led to failed Turbochargers, as a result of use of wrong or non recommended Engine oils. These Turbochargers are not cheap. The OEM, the fake new and the used turbochargers are all expensive. Most of these vehicles with these Engines on Nigerian roads are having frequent weak or failing oil pump issues as well, simply because the Engine oils Nigerians put in them are not meant to work well with those oil pumps. It's becoming normal in Nigeria to enter lions with these Engines to find "Insufficient Oil Pressure" warning on instrument panel staring back at you.

When oil manufacturers produce new products (Engine oils), they send samples of the oils to Car manufacturers. Then vehicle manufacturers test these oils in their labs to know how good the oils are, if the oils are compatible or good for any of their Engines produced in the past and present, how good the oils can handle low and high rpm without ruining the Engine, how much pressure can the oils take and if they will last long duration of oil change without deteriorating and harm the vehicle engines, etc. These test will determine the Engines they are compatible with or not, or meet exact standards of previous recommended oils. Not every oil sent to PSA for test are recommended for their Engines. The ones that passed their tests will be given certification or approval with codes to be used in specific Engines produced in the past or currently in production, which the oil manufacturers can include in the package/container before sale. Those PSA or Peugeot codes are meant for Lion users who want to use Engine oils tested, certified and recommended by PSA for their Engines. If you choose to buy Engine oil with or without code PSA didn't recommend for your Engine, it means you have taken a risk which may or may not ruin your Engine. Vehicle manufacturers invest a lot of money/capital in conducting these tests. To ignore it is asking for outcome you won't find funny someday.

The 2 main Engine oil certifications for THP & VTi Engines from PSA are:

1. Pppppl

2. Ppppp

However, I strongly recommend the ppppp, especially for environment like Nigeria. The oil brand is not that important, as long as they have these codes (unless they are fake, which is very possible in Nigeria). Stop buying oil by mere oil grade or weight. Read the instructions on the container.

Just because an oil container has pppp written on it doesn't mean the content in that container will work well in PSA EW & ES Engines, even though pppp is recommended for those Engines. Only the ppppp with pppppp can protect those Engines, as far as PSA is concerned, unless you want to gamble with your Engine and sanity. Of course, you can do the test or experiment by yourself with your Engine, to prove Peugeot wrong. If it works for you, good for you. If it doesn't, good for you as well.

There are about (*removed*)

PAN Kaduna sells Engine oils for these 2 Engines (VTi & THP). Unfortunately, they are unbranded/not labelled. My understanding is that they buy in large quantities for production of vehicles in their plants which they also sell to private individuals interested. So, it won't be fake, except you won't know if it's (*removed*). Though, you could ask them directly, for it's possible they do give the information out to any interested buyer that ask.

I am doing my best to get the recommended Total Engine oils for those newer PSA Engines to be available in Nigeria, which are also recommended for some older PSA Engines. But before then, take some personal responsibility to protect your Engine and turbocharger from premature failure.

As for the Nigerians that put 20w-50 oils in their THP Engines, I have no comment.

The logical questions these Nigerians don't ask themselves are:

- Why do Nigerians prefer Foreign used/Tokunbo vehicles to Nigerian used ones, even when Nigerian used vehicles are cheaper?

- Since the obvious reason is because of degree of abuse on majority of Nigerian used vehicles (like 80-90%), what measure did you take to prevent ending up with one of those 80%, since you can't afford the expensive tokunbo ones or brand new vehicles?

These 80-90% of abused vehicles on Nigerian roads end up being resold to other Nigerians. Only few/some of them are advertised at Cars45 website. The rest are advertised and sold by other Nigerian car dealers or private individuals, in same abused conditions like the ones advertised by Cars45. Just because some Nigerian dealers or individuals packaged their abused vehicles before putting them out for sale, doesn't mean those nightmares waiting under those paints are different from every other abused vehicles scattered all over Nigeria for sale. So are they now saying all the Nigerians complaining of ending up with abused vehicles bought those vehicles from Cars45?

From the Cars45 business model that few of you explained on this thread, they don't repair or fix vehicles before reselling, either through dealers or themselves, if I understood you guys correctly. But they inspect and publish the report or their findings on the vehicle, as you guys claimed. If that is the case, it's possible some of their employees (the inspectors) don't do their work well, do make mistakes with their findings or intentionally choose not to report every issue they found on the reports. Like I published, Every Nigerian is a scammer until he proves otherwise. But as someone who knows how risky it is to invest huge amount of money on Nigerian used vehicle, what personal responsibility did you take to prevent you in becoming part of the statistics online lamenting about their nightmares they bought with their very own hands? I mean, from what I read here, they pasted or published they don't allow test drive and don't refund. If these claims are true, how comfortable did you feel about those conditions that you could just walk in there and drop your huge amount of money you knew you will never get back if you pick a wrong car? What did you do to not let that happen?

One of the easiest and successful way of dealing with a company's weakness or threat is to hire or contract someone or an expert on that weakness that can turn it into a strength and/or opportunity for you to focus on and grow with. You might be a professional or good at your job or business, but may not be the same in automobiles. What's the logical thing to do here?

Few said here that Cars45 has a way of filtering out non stollen vehicles. So, if this is really true, it makes logical sense to end up with abused vehicle than a stollen one (even though I wouldn't recommend a severe abused one either). You will lose your money and you move on painfully, if it was just an abused car. But if you end up with stollen vehicle, you will not only lose your money you purchased the stollen car with, you also likely will lose all your assets, all your money, your job, your company, your businesses and will spend some days, weeks, months or years in jail, doing everything you can not to spend the remaining of your physical life in prison over a stollen vehicle. You have no idea risks involved in buying Nigerian used vehicles until you become a victim.

I have published thousands of free articles, videos, and posts on these issues on Nigerian used vehicles, how to avoid one or put one in those conditions. But those my efforts are meaningless because I am still a wicked man for charging those who prefer private consultations & services from me to get same information & pieces of advice I put out publicly for free, over and over. Because they are entitled to every knowledge I have on PSA vehicles, both in private or public, to be free. You would be surprised that some of the people that read this post and my earlier one on this thread will come back in future to complain how they bought abused vehicle sniffing life out of them.

Any logical mind that have gone through this thread would know my earlier post had nothing to do with specific brand. Most Nigerians reading this thread prefer Japanese vehicles. So, if my earlier post have resonated with them, who would they go to for hire to inspect used vehicles for them? Me? Even for PSA vehicles, do you know how many experts we have on those brands over here in the North that will do it cheaper than me or even for free? Honestly, some people on this thread actually need to hire others to logically think for them since theirs have possibly been emasculated out of them.

For the haters, I am a Monk. I live only for myself. I am proud and take pride in my knowledge, doings & sayings. I seek only internal validation and satisfaction (no external validation, no external acceptance and no humility). I live by my own codes. My long posts and preachings are not for the majority, but for the very few they resonate with which they will benefit from today or in near future. Jesus preachings resonated only with few in his time. Hundreds and thousands of years later, his preachings now resonated with the majority who even now worship him. I don't expect you to like my messages, preachings or perspectives today if you are among the majority.

All I can see on this thread are people who can't take responsibility for their actions. No one here has proven the Cars45 did anything wrong (produce facts, not she said, they said). Everyone is busy acting on emotions without applying logic.

The disclaimer, conditions or warnings by Cars45 were pretty clear. Yet, people ignored them and now looking for who to blame. How much will it cost you to pay an expert on the brand/vehicle you are interested in, for him to do the inspection and recommend to buy or walk away, based on his findings? Is it too much to pay 5k - 50k to an expert to protect and prevent you from losing your hundreds of thousands or millions of naira in buying abused vehicle? If you don't know how to interpret inspection reports from Cars45 on vehicles at their stands, why didn't you engage someone who can interpret and confirm the reports are accurate based on his own findings after his own inspection, even if you have to pay a small fee to the person than risking your hundreds or millions of naira?

You purchased a Nigerian used car and the vehicle Engine overheated days after and you are blaming the seller? Really? You think tokunbo vehicles don't break down too? Even if the issue was there before the purchase, were you not supposed to detect it before purchase? You mean vehicle has to be driven before an Overheating issue shows it's head?

Anyone can tag any amount he/she wants to sale a vehicle for. Heck, you can tag a used car price of a brand new vehicle of that same model. It's up to you to buy or walk away. An individual or company can choose to tag an abused dead vehicle same amount with clean non abused car. You have so many options of where to source and buy that same vehicle model, even a cleaner one at cheaper price. Capitalism allows it and Nigeria doesn't practice communism (at least on paper), so it's not illegal. Bitch1ng about it makes you illogical in your thinking and entitled like the world owes you.

Like I titled one of my articles, "EVERY NIGERIAN IS A SCAMMER, UNTIL HE PROVES OTHERWISE", it doesn't mean Cars45 is a saint. It's up to them to prove themselves to you. Not every one that patronized or bought vehicles from the Cars45 is online blaming them. Some, must likely, are enjoying the vehicles they bought from them or through their adverts. Probably because they applied logic and got vehicles that are serving them at prices they were comfortable with and the vehicles in conditions they were ok with before purchase.

If Cars45 vehicles are too pricey, find other dealers or places you can source vehicles cheaper. If you don't want to pay someone that understands vehicle systems more than you do to inspect and recommend a non abused clean vehicle at their stands for you, then be adult enough to deal or live with consequences of your choices. If you don't want a car that will break down or have some issues to sort out after purchase, don't buy a Nigerian used vehicle (better still, buy a brand new car).

Maybe what the thread starter claimed that the production year of the vehicle purchased was wrong, including factory Driving Position. But you didn't back up your claim with facts or evidence. So everyone must believe you because you said so? So if anyone comes online to accuse someone of something, the accuser must be telling the truth and everyone must believe the accuser with no evidence? This is someone's business you are talking about. Besides, why didn't you take an expert to inspect and confirm the true state of the car, including the true production year and factory Driving Position, since that option was allowed and even advised by the seller, when you don't know how to detect all that? It's very possible that the seller, dealer or Car45 actually lied to you about the vehicle, but you didn't prove they did in this thread.

It's sickening that majority of Nigerians are car killers. All those "supposed" scrappy vehicles at the Cars45 in Nigeria were driven, used & killed by Nigerians with all manners of abuse. There is no difference between the Nigerian used vehicles at Cars45 and other Nigerian used vehicles advertised by other Nigerians. They are all basically in same abused conditions and similar prices. Majority of Nigerian used vehicles advertised by Nigerians for sale are "PACKAGED" vehicles.

If you are not willing to risk throwing down the toilet your hundreds of thousands or millions of naira you intend to use to purchase a used vehicle in Nigeria, then spend 5k, 10k 20k, 30k or 50k to hire an expert or specialist in that vehicle brand to prevent you from losing that money by inspecting, interpreting and recommending a good vehicle to you. The specialist cannot/must not see every fault in/on the vehicle within the minutes he is allowed to check the car (even if test drive is not allowed), but he is capable than you to see or detect some major severe abuse or issues with the vehicle you wouldn't see that could give you nightmares if you make the purchase. He could do that because of his expert eyes, unlike non experts or normal car users that focus more on irrelevant things like mileage, first body, blah blah blah, when searching or checking out vehicles they interested to buy. Of course, you can do the inspection and purchase a vehicle yourself with your limited knowledge and end up with a good one. And you can also gamble and lose 500k - millions of naira because of 5 - 30k that feels too unreasonable for you to spend to prevent such huge loss. It's your choice, just like some people on this thread have experienced the sad outcomes.
