Hesienberg: Well said Prince!Lol... Very funny bro! Did you say sheer arrogance? Well am sure I have assisted so many people with my "sheer arrogance", "dense sarcasm" and "cockiness"! And for the red font, I rep LIVERPOOL FC. Now u know why I love RED! Bless u |
After taking my time to read all these posts, I feel so bitter and heartbroken! Sometimes, I just wish I have the opportunity to settle every unemployed youth! My brother, seriously, I have to be very sincere with you, ONLY GOD CAN SETTLE YOU! Thank God you are a christain, the bible says remember the lord your God for he alone gives the power to make wealth! I am not trying to preach here but we should always have the confidence that our God is able to go exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or think ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKS IN US! I don't want to promise anything but trust me, There is a way out of this. You have to do 3 things and if it doesn't work then call me a liar henceforth.. 1. You must give God your life! He will never release what he has for you if you are not his friend (very important). 2. Lay all your trust in him and start thanking and praising him from now on even though the job has not manifested yet! ( That way, u are provoking God the more) 3. Enter a Covenant with him! Don't mistaken Covenant for a vow! Covenant is sometin that u will continue to do for as long as u have entered! If u are sincere on your part, God can never break his own part! Trust me, this works! Try and see Shalom! |
Mintayo: When is the deadline? I thought it's supposeed to be yesterday?November 10th... So there is still opportunity for those yet to apply |

chess guru: The way some threads die thoLOL... You no lie my brother! |
Ashmark: Ok, have applied through Unilever's website before, do you think it makes sense if I applied again on Adexen? While waiting on the outcome of the Unilever process, i think its wise applying through Adexen also.. Afterall you have nothing to lose and somethings, it is unwise to lay all eggs in a basket! |
Its not fair oo.. So nobody wants to answer my question |
jerrymania: Not at all, even if you do, you'll be wasting time. Just wait for your time.I wish they can listen to your advice! |
Nnabugwu8590: My dear, you are right but i think both statements are saying the same thing. For example, is there any difference between he has gone and he has left. Both are not thesame.. One is a continous tense and the other is a past participle! |
primeson1: What about those personal statements.. Who has a clue?Very Funny Questions! Just like asking someone to help you write your CV. DIY bro |
onyibajoe: Thanks a million @Ikenna. You are the man*thumbs up*Glad i was able to help |
princely83: Ikenna don't underestimate any class of degree cos I know a lot of guys with low 2.2 and yet they are in big coys and doing excellently well and some first class grads still struggling...Everything in life is GOD. Have this in mind.I dont disagree with you... But if you read my statement to the end, perhaps you will understand that i am not underestimating anyone! |
I apologise to anyone that mistook my statements above for an insult and feels hurt! For that, i will send recharge card to all those i offended. just indicate yourself |
itodo ho: what is it with the job search page? i dont understand. can someone explain to me pls or give a direct link to the application page. thanks and God bless.https://careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/client_standardbank/external/jobDetails.do?functionName=getJobDetail&jobPostId=25714&localeCode=en-us Click on "APPLY NOW" and proceed Goodluck |
princely83: Guy I pity you.... You never find job reach 3 years if not you won't despise little beginnings as stated by the bible. In life we all start somewhere; you can't jump to the top of a ladder instead you climb from the bottom to the top. Life at times is not rosy.....Its good to appreciate the small blessing that comes our way cos it can be a link to the bigger one.Numero Uno: I am not for pity, i am to be celebrated! Two: I dont disagree with your comment above |
ure 4 proud,so dose dat finish with 2. 2 hve no value.and am sure ure still unmployed.smh
Very Funny.. If you are close to me, then you will know that humility runs in my veins. FYI am not unemployed! |
Ashmark: Did anybody write test with Adexen? No. But you will need to undergo a long registration process on Adexen website |
bigyomite: Pls inhouse i need an info abt this company situated at 12 Ejigbo Road, Jakande Isolo, i got a mail to come around for job interview on 9th Saturday, Nov 2013, pls ur info determine my plan.If you had used the time you spent in typing this to visit google, am sure by now you will be well prepared for your interview!! Nairaland will sometimes give you false information. Hongxing steel company is a manufacturing firm situated in lagos, Benin and Ilorin, and they are still expanding. Better go for your interview and collect your appointment letter!! |
mcdokwe: NDI ANYI NA-ARIAWhatever that means |
Essy36: I would be rounding up my Service in May 2013, I dunno when work would be starting here and whether I should still apply..You can very much apply... The application process runs down till september. But u will have to be sincere when asked if you have completed NYSC |
Its so unfortunate that some bigots (not an insult, check the dicko) wouldn't read between lines before responding. I remember I ended my first statement with "kindly ask them if that is what they pay other applicants outside Nigeria"!! I believe that statement really explains the kind of message am passing across. Do you guys know that BAT pays their MT in UK about 35000 pounds per annum. That's roughly 9.1million Naira. Now do you see them paying thesame for MT in Nigeria? If Stanbic should pay 140k that I can imagine how much they pay our counterparts outside Nigeria! And whether I am the most qualified candidate in Nigeria, I will say No. But since I know they pay 140k, then I will most likely not take the application serious because I am worth more than that and I know how much my current job pays me in a month! Sometimes, being very young, we need to venture into other business environment and take up new challenges |
Savant: There are different types of IDs that could be used. International passport, NYSC ID, National ID, Drivers license etc. Each having corroborating numbers. It can suffice.Na wa oo... Too much oyinbo! For those that might need a break down, all he is saying is whichever of the above listed ID you have, look for the number printed on it. The number will serve as your ID number |
Xtaceeey: Na una dey mak unemployment rise, even wt 140k as a fresh graduate, u wana earn higher dan dat, u don't even wana grow. D problm is evry fresh graduate wana earn 350 - 400k immediately afta nysc, mak una dey fear GOD na.. Start frm smwia atleast. Some of u dnt even boda hw d moni entas d company, all u want is ur big salary. If you know your worth, then you will most likely know that 140k is peanut! Unless maybe you finished university with 2:2 or third class, with no work experience except NYSC and with no other qualifications and no membership to any professional body! My brother/Sister, these companies are belittle our graduates; take it or leave it! |
kollected22: 40k for the classroom training, 70k for branch attachment and circa 140k on confirmation.PEANUT!! Kindly ask them if that is what they pay other applicants outside Nigeria |
Mintayo: In line manager? Wht does that mean?A line Manager (In Human Resources terms) means your direct boss at your place of work or your direct supervisor; someone you are directly under! If you are working currently in other sector outside Education, you will agree with me that it is not wise to use your manager or supervisor as line manager because some of these people do not want the progress of those under them. You may gladly use them if they are supportive of your dreams or aspirations. If you are currently unemployed, then you have no Line Manager. in this case, it is safer to use the HOD or a very senior lecturer of the department you graduated from in school. Am sure they will know you well, or if they dont just let them know that you have used them. Even if you are working elsewhere, you may also use your HOD as your line Manager. In my case, it was pretty easy for me because i am an academic staff in one of the Federal Universities... so my Line Manager was simply my HOD. I hope this makes sense to you guys. Goodluck |
herboshedhe: Did you apply on your pc or phone? On my laptop... But a very good smartphone phone should be able to do it also |
