Maybe whoever made the comparison meant social and night life which Owerri seems to challenge PH and Abuja. As for your comparison of Okorocha of 3 years with Chime of 7 years, I have this to say that well paved roads with streetlights is nothing new in Owerri but Okorocha has gone beyond Owerri and other towns and villages now have everything you listed. Old Owerri is where you have Orlu Road, Douglas, Okigwe, Wetheral, Mbaise, Tetlow, Egbu etc and today has Dee Sam. Aba road dualized to Nekede and Wetheral bye pass. New Owerri has PH road, Onitsha road, World bank road and dozens of dual carriageways too numerous to mention.

I have been in orlu since 31st december and its been a wonderful holiday. I am impressed about what i have seen so far but more has to be done in orlu especially the abandoned project along ihioma-amaifeke road. The ogberuru-obibi ochasi road needs expansion too.
