Perhaps because that 'some' brought the hate upon themselves.

Listen, this thread is not about you and yours but about the ingenuity of the LASG - can we keep to the topic?
yes u are correct there; they brought the hate just for being blessed! thanks and hope we now move on from here

More money for Lagos! Lagos is doing all it takes to drive in the revenue. A good way to show that with good initiatives, a country does not have to rely so heavily on the derivatives from oil.

This is assuming that the bikes would be provided by LASG and riders would have to pay to use them, of course.

taharaq
@Ndu-Chuks. I thought you said you were Igbo? *laughing*.

Anyways, to more serious stuffs..yes Reprisals are condemnable and as you said those that carry it out are just as criminal as the instigators of the violence( in this case misguided Islamic extremists), but unfortunately it is to be expected henceforth in the poisoned environment of today;s north.

I would NEVER support reprisals and would continue to condemn it; but I find myself no longer having the urge to condemn it as I used to. For me, this is cos f the extremely annoying and frustrating attitude of majority of Muslims( including the Moderate ones) to do any thing possible to defend the 'image' of Islam and in so doing refuse to hit the nail exactly where they ought to. Most northern Muslims would blame anything, person, institution, idea for the ongoing BH atrocities- CIA, Mossad, FG, govt, Igbos, CAN, poverty, marginalizatn, 'injustice', 'enemies of islam', neighboring countries and recently even Kanuris and JTF- anything except some misguided members of their faith in a self-defeating attempt to protect the 'image' of Islam( a DUTY); like i said previously, it is extremely annoying ad frustrating.

Just as I told someone recently, if northern Muslims(elites and talakawas) spent just half the time and vehemence they did in condemning JTF recently in consistently condemning the few misguided madmen amongst themselves, we would have been seeing the end of BH by now. But NO, every time a bomb goes off or a person is killed, phantom organisations/persons are immediately manufactured as people who 'are enemies of Islam and what to destroy the north'; and then just for effect, the usual song of 'Islam means peace' is repeatly sung as though any one said they we didnt know a religion can be peaceful yet some of its members can be committing atrocities in the name of that religion( i mean it even happened in Christianity at a time). It is also as though they think we do not know that bombs go off in many countries in the world and the usual people performing this acts- abi na CAN or Igbos they do those ones.

Once again, I condemn Reprisals but I sorry for many persons if these bombings and present attitudes subsist.
u forget to blame jon and pdp

Erudite Achebe I salute your courage you are trying to distinguish between Niger/Delta and Igbo indirectly you are bidding for 2015 Presidential election in favour of Biafran. I am of the view that U. S had promised that by year 2015 their will be no country called Nigeria that is why they sponsor this elder statesman who suppose be the pillar of one Nigeria. South south mind you Niger/Delta will never allied themselves with Igbo instead of that Nigeria will split as follows 1. Arewa 2. Odua 3.Niger/Delta basket of food of present Nigeria 4. South south. Assuming Nigeria remain as three region viz: western, northern and easter Igbo would have be the luck group in Nigeria but I honour whom dues for creations of many state in Nigeria in order to let Igbo aware that they have nothing to offer this great nation in term of natural resource if their is any kindly name it. I could remember before the day of crude oil which was owned by Niger/Delta Lagos bridge was constructed with cocoa and other cash crops which was mainly generated from western Nigeria to me I allied myself to the wise quote of Baba Awo ' Nigeria is not a nation is a merely Geographical location. America has at least 50 states but wishing Nigeria disintegration God will intervene we Nigeria need to wake up from our slumber before is too late let take Libyan issue as case study
why does it bother the yaribas so much about niger delta going to annex with the igbo

just wondering oooo

Gowon has offered to stand before the ICJ, since he believes that he is innocent of any war crimes.

What more do you want from him?

The ball is in your court now.
