So last month made it one year since i stumbled upon this beautiful thread and decided to join the train....cool I must say it has sure been worth it, domaining lazily, registering craps at the beginning, learning along the way from the masters..........will like to say a big gracias to the bosses here for their inputs, especially boss iyke for starting this thread, though i'm the laziest serious domainer i know, no even get strength to follow namepros sef ..........still been able to make really decent bucks looking back still learning tho......if you're about to go in, yea it's worth it if you know what you're doing. Sold over 20+.... portfolio 100+

Not really....outbound whenever you can.....however, personally i prefer working days/hours

that parking stuff sha....parked some domains with bodis for like 4 months now, checked recently and saw $22, and its got me thinking recently, working on stuff.....but basically, focus on selling and on geos for quick flips, brandables for patience (big bucks)

Hold time : less than 2 months (Did outbound and lost hope when the company with the .org extension replied that they were not interested. Yesterday, I decided to reduce the BIN of some of my domains to $100 and while still sending mails, I got a mail from Simon that my name had been sold and apparently it was one of the guys I had sent mails to before, the person didn't even reply any if my mails, just went ahead to purchase the name maybe because in my mail I made it seem like they were getting a rare and limited deal. I'm grateful to God and everyone here because this sale happened at a time when I really needed money)

Don't discourage people who have names with that registrar. Tosin already said what to do: hit up customer care with proof that you have sold the name. They will make the push option available afterwards.

Of course I'll come back with something positive,
And even a detailed guide on how to treat a transaction with Directnic in case if someone finds himself in similar situation.

Promos are good, but sometimes, when you are discouraged from using this registrars, as a newbie at times because of many underlying problems with them, most of us won't listen.

I told most of my domaining friends that are learning, to disregard such registrars, when they asked me. And I believe I mentioned it here to.
Mr don't worry everything will go fine, but this is an eye opener for you,and others here.

Next time,You spend money to on top domain registrars,like Godaddy, namesilo, dynadot and Porkburn. Because since you are selling to end users, you will definitely make a gain By GOD GRACE.

This is my final advice to avert this kind of scenerios from occurring.

Sorry bro but let me get something straight, you told Directnic that you want to push to another Directnic account or you want to push to Godaddy? You can only transfer to Godaddy with the auth code that's after the 60 days mark...

I think you have to tell buyer that you recently renewed the domain and they ran it as a new domain under 60 days lock.. Coupled with the message you posted up there... And see how far?

I asked for both options, and they are insisting until after 60days

you can't get the code on directnic, the option won't show until domain lock is over. They also don't do push between direcnic accounts till 60days period.. My experience, I told dan this shortcomings, and told simon if the buyer would fancy waiting till lock over, that I'm unaware of this and apologized for the inconvenience. Luckily the buyer was willing to wait.
