i always wondered the same thing. the cars run well and have all them nice things other cars got, but the second-hand value aint too good.  i asked my girlfriend why she decided not to buy a Ford and she said "it's just not good". i asked her why and she didn't have no particular reason, just because everyone's saying it. maybe it's something in Ford's history that we didn't catch now but the stigma just stuck. for some reason, people prefer foreign cars to American cars.
