dinachi: Only foolish Ijaw slaves like you do not knoww that democracy is a game of numbers. That is how you keep making political mistakes. What is the number of the entire Ijaw nation He goat?
I repeat Ijaws are totally useless as allies in national politics. Op your post is laid on a banal premise What has ijaw got to do with Igbos vote for Jonathan? Was Jonathan made president because he was ijaw? No op. Nobody ever thought of Jonathan tribe when he was made acting president and when he was voted president. People only remembered his tribe when people like Clark and Dokubo's started misyarning. That was when they reminded them of their insignificance in Nigeria politics And so Igbos voting for Jonathan was never about ijaw.... And I have yet to see any Igbo man think of ijaw being of any relevance to ndigbo. There are two tribes that you will ever hear Igbos mention in life..... Yorubas for being slave to hausa fulanis and not wanting freedom two... And Hausa_Fulanis for not deserving to be shared a country with due to their animal lifestyle. So apart from nairaland where all sorts of tribeless oafs brew craps daily to get online notice... Ijaw is non existing in Igbo man's scheme of things. |

Bekwarra: When will IPOB protest Nnamdi Kanu's arrest in Lagos? Since Yeboes own Lagos, they should stage a huge 1 million man march in Lagos nah. We are waiting for them. Why are you people so restless about Biafra? Please try seek your own freedom and let others face theirs If you lots are so afraid of being left alone with Northerners forever when Biafra comes to be then seek for a true federalism where things would be as they stand in USA then maybe Igbos might reconsider but until then it is Biafra or nothing. Igbos need Biafra and no amount of disturbing yourselves would discourage us. |

AustineE1: Your actions and words goes a long way to support the assertion by some people that you yorubas are slaves. You were so evasive to the point that you didnt render your support to the calls by Afenifere on the issue of Fulanis, you were just busy checking out any statement made by Igbos. Seriously, you are pathetic, rather than tackling your problems, you are looking for an Alibi...your attitude is the best definition of cowardice i have come across. Moreover, ndigbo quest for Biafra covers every other statement or action you expect from us when we have issues with Fulanis or even your Yoruba people for that matter. From the 60's to date we have seeked for an honourable divorce from this contraption and forced marriage called Nigeria. Thanks for the free education you gave that liverless fellow |

NgeneUkwenu: So you guys have successfully used and dumped us?
Fear Ndi Mba Mmiri!
That's why my father advised us not to have anything to with Ndi Mba mmiri except on personal interest...
For the uninitiated, what TonyeBarcanista has done with this disjointed thread, is to create a perfect and fatal ammunition for the Yoruba and Hausa ethnic warlords to further malign, insult and castigate the good people of Igbo Land, as mere land grabbers and opportunists!
Umu Igbo Beware of this attention -seeking- Slippery -character masquerading as pseudo political analyst of interest! I can see through him. Dude importants himself while suffering depression occasioned by lack of meaningful life. We we we we we, South South South, Niger delta Niger delta, dude can't stop ranting even when his entire tribe is irrelevant to neither the cause of the Igbo nor to that of Nigeria. That Jonathan became president has nothing to do with his being ijaw it was purely a coincidence so this fellow should simply be ignored. |
Politics › Re: Tonyebarcanista Ndoki Is Not And Will Never Be An Ijaw Land by illiad: 12:49am On Oct 27, 2015 |
Deltagiant: @Barcanista, on a different note... What is basic and irreducible is that the Ikwerre and her constituent parts including DIOBU are the MAJOR owners of Port Harcourt. Your people, the Okrika, are very minor players in PH and the new Rivers state.
The people of the South East have always respected the political rights and entitlements of indigenes of every state in their own very zone. To the extent that Igbo non indigenes do not meddle in the affairs of a sister state. If Ikwerre were to be a state in the SE, it won't be any thing different as the HopeAthands and Wikes would be fully in charge.
Therefore, the Igbo don't have any territorial ambition. Rather, what i see them do rightly or wrongly, is the protection of any group of people that are culturally related to them. Conversely, to be honest, I thought yours pose more territorial threat to the good people of Ikwerre land than you want to make us believe.
Remember you made a comment about the physical limits of PH- South visavis the Ijaw and to which you were yet to respond to HopeAthand's question to you in relation to that. I think it will be in your interest to stop all these pettiness of the last few days. SECONDED |

wytecat: Oh! Tell me who owns nairaland?
We already know you claim land, I didn't know that you have started claiming people too! You see why you ibos are called compulsive liars?
This site is Yoruba ingenuity and that's what has sustained it. Though ibos have caused some damages to it cos Seun is slow but, it would have died just like your biafra site if it was an ibo owned.
No thread of this nature has made it to the FrontPage, this is first, and the new low for Seun. look I do not have a handkerchief to proffer to you so cry forever if it suits you and this is my last response to you. This is not a yoruba forum. If you don't understand English then try and get some education. That a yoruba man owns the site doesn't make it a yoruba forum. If it becomes a yoruba forum tomorrow it will die. Everyone knows that except kids like you. |

Niyinficient: Jesus Christ! How on earth will jsut cook up lies just because u hate a tried and post it on nairaland jst because u want to say something? Bro, it's really bad o! I tot most of d comments here on nairaland ar primary just for d sake of giving comment, y must u lie jsut to downgrade a tribe? It's really bad.
In case u don't know, ask people who know. Yoruba pple are more dan the igbos in northern Nigeria. I served in d North, I av travelled almost all d northern states. Right from Kogi to Abuja to Niger to Kaduna to Kano to Gombe- sokoto and rest, there abound a large proportion of d yoruba pple dats why u see dem naming an area for dem places like Angwa Yorubawa, meaning abode of Yorubas, it's a common tin in d north and wit all sincerity, I avnt seen or hear Angwa Igbo in d north (mayb there is a name dey call dem, I don't know tho). Some Fulani herdsmen are menace in all part of d country. Go to Kaduna, benue, Niger, Kogi and oda places occupied by oda tribes and see how their farmlands and properties are constantly being destroyed by the Fulanis.
Pls, u ar not going to b paid for commenting on nairaland, just minimise hw u lie just because u hate a particular tribe.
By d way, who cares whether u like a tribe or not? All tribes flourish whether u hate or not! Ur opinion is minus 0.000000000000 wen it comes to the development of such tribe, u ar a nobody d tribe/tribes u hate are well known dat u and ur generation combined.
Every tribe has got its own strength and weaknesses, I see no reason why u guys just come here to spit thrash. A cry over spilled milk You people Hypocrisy have become a serious concern to God Himself I spent a whole week here going through all manners of insults from yorubas to Igbos and I read them all expecting a caution from any sensible yoruba left on nairaland to the majority jobless oafs that make up yorubas population on nairaland but there was none. But now some of you are here wailing and can't hold back like I did when it was your people deriding other tribes Please log out of nairaland if you can't take the heat, this is a kitchen and today the 'cone heads' are having their 'ofe' mmanu' and who knows tomorrow the 'flatiis' could be served ogbono soup. Such is the life in nairaland. |

wytecat: Show me a thread of this nature from Yoruba that made FrontPage!
This is the work of ibo mods, and the Yoruba that owns this place allows it. First things first, stop talking about ownership of nairaland, it is not a yorubas forum because if it was it would be dead a long time ago As for threads of this nature use the search button on nairaland or simply scroll through their front pages for the past week. |

wytecat: If you call the Mods dumb now, they will be like eenhnn!!
See the thread that has been quickly hijacked by ibos before a single Yoruba comment is seen has made FrontPage!
And if ibos get the attention they are looking for now, how is this not already a tribalist thread on FrontPage? Hmm just as they waited for others to comment on other threads before moving it to front page |

IlekeHD: Until FFK is ready to enforce the Yoruba interest, we're unlikely to take him serious.
He's doing this for his own interest. During GEJ's term, did he forget Fulanis' menace in Nigeria.
Until he and his like in politics focuses on an integration of the SW region, the SW won't take his noise making serious.
When last did FFK collaborate with the DAWN project or the Odu'a Investment company?
He shouldn't use the SW to carry our his personal agenda. We know his likes. Give him a minister position and he'll forget Fulanis ever existed. Shame on you, fellow! The yorubas say when a hawk is about to carry away a chicken one must first chase away the hawk before blaming the mother hen for exposing it's chickens to danger. Shame is a very important virtue in life and you yorubas on nairaland lack every iota of shame. |

Yorubas flexing muscles with Igbos who only live peaceful with them and help them develop their towns while chickening out on murderous hausa fulanis can only be explained as sheer cowardice, unmanliness and abject slave mentality on the part of the yorubas |
