Another One

One day. I walked into one damsel down my street for the first time. By her accoutrement I knew she stays in my hood but it amazed me how she had escaped me.

She doesn't talk to strangers she said.
She later told me that she is Abby for short.
Later she told me she was spending some time with her grandparents in my hood. She was gonna make moi moi and was gonna buy beans. Her family's fav.

She usually lives like 4 streets away with her parents. She has a kid, a boy that looked like her. Two years young. She was 21. I was 22. I got her number later.

She loves to read like me. We swapped autographed novels later. I gave her one very big novel about 4000pages about an alien that lived and died on Earth. Can't remember what's called.
The one she gave me was a spook.
We became friends.


We walk down the street together, whenever we walk into each other. It was never premeditated. She doesn't come to my bunk cos she is mostly with her son and grandparents. She schools at KP.

There was an aproko staying in their compound, the woman sells Staples and and Fufu. She knows few things about me like I tutor students most of which are girls, she somehow taught I flirt because of that.
I know from the way she related with me but I was really indifferent.

The someone that impregnated Abby was irresponsible to a fault. I never met him. His son never met him too. Abby told me.
But this woman told Abby that I might be like that and I was even in fact a student that might up and go anytime
