IbnAbdullah1: If we dig deeper they are more sexual violators on the Christians side than you would point out in the muslim side.
No matter you grudge and hate, we have more practimg Muslims who don't do these rubbish than professing Christians(who claim Christianity) who engaged every day in the hi is rubbish. Most slot around the country if your were to do religious poll come from Christian side(I am not saying the Christain faith support this) than the Muslim side. Who are the ones being accused of raping little girls and boys in the US and other western nations. Muslims? Even your some of your pastors are not left our. Go deal with yourselves before coming out to point at us. The point I want to raise here is Christians see child molestation as abnormality. A Christian will never cover his fellow Christian when he involves in sex or child molestation. We loud it even if the person that commits this offense is a pastor. This makes you Muslims to think child molestation is high among Christians. Child molestation is very high within Muslims, especially in the North. You think this crime is not high among you because you Muslims take it as normal thing of live. If someone like imam or Emir committed child molestation, other Muslim followers protect and cover the offender so that the news will not spread. The difference between Christians and Muslims is Christians will expose black sheep among them but Muslims will never do that. They always protect themselves regardless of the evil the the offender committed. |

OAM4J: I have heard of this conspiracy theory before, butt I don't believe it yet.
You mean he planted his sister to contest the governorship of Kwara, letting his father campaign for her, while he supprted another candidate that eventually won to the public shame of his sister and father?
I cannot believe his father and sister supported such conspiracy to their shame. Not a few people believe the shame retired the father from active politics which eventually led to his death.
And can Gbemi really destabilize APC? I don't think she has such piwer and influence . It is true bukola and his father had a misunderstanding b4 the father died. But remember blood is always ticker than water. You can say because u are fighting your child and leave him to a lion to kill. |

lionshare: They hate him so much yet they voted him to the senate and also voted for his governorship candidate. Cmon Saraki does not depend on people's votes. He depends on rigging, result manipulation, buying of inec officials and the securities. He control majority of thugs to kill, mame and snatches ballots box. He is capable of doing all these because no opponent has wealth like him. Some of his political thugs are thse that robbed in Offa town. Do not think he won elections by people's vote. We know what is happening in Kwara State, not just hearing fake news like most of u people outside Kwara do. Though the ilorin emirates(Emir of Ilorin) are another problem kwarans are facing. I am very sorry to say this but this is the truth. They vote for whatever comes from Saraki, regardless of anything. 90% of Ilorin emirate always vote for saraki and this is the power of Bukola saraki. But now I believe all are wise. Things has changed. 2019 general election will be different. Most of these political thugs will not be found to work for saraki. Bukola saraki is loosing his grip from kwara state. Nobody wants to die in poverty. |

OAM4J: My sentiments exactly.
And with the current news flying around in Kwara with everyone deserting him including his own sister, I am not even sure if he is still in control of Kwara. We will only know how much influence he still has in Kwara after the 2019 elections. My guy forget that his sister issue. They never fought. Bukola always plant his sister in opposition party to distabelise them. His sister Gbemi is bukola game player. |
Politics › Re: 7 Reasons Why Saraki is The Next President Of Nigeria by imam07: 8:37pm On Sep 01, 2018 |
raumdeuter: Point 1. Sarakis influence is only in Kwara State and if elections is between Buhari and Saraki, the North Central will be split into 2, Buhari winning Niger, Kogi and Nasarawa, Saraki winning Benue, Kwara . Plateau will be close, The NC was split in 2015 Babangida was sitting Governor in 2015 and did you see the vote? There was a 500k difference between Buhari and PDP despite a sitting president and sitting governor in PDP, 2019 will be even worse with Saraki as president
So nothing new here. There is no advantage for Saraki here
2. Saraki cannot deliver 6 NC states max he will get is 3 states.
3. You are deceiving yourself. where were these youths in 2015? Have you forgotten how Jonathan was jogging all over working out in public, buying musicians and actors just to prove he is youth friendly and what did that get him?
4. Public perception this is one of Sarakis weaknesses. He is known to have started from APP, jumped to PDP in 2000, jumped to APC in 2004, now back to PDP. His public perception is that he is unreliable and a snake. He betrayed everyone who has ever relied on him, betrayed Jonathan, betrayed APC by allying with opposition to become Senate president he even betrayed his father. Buhari even till today dis still known for his integrity and anti corruption stand, Saraki on the other hand is known to be corrupt, he oversaw the failure of 3 banks, he ensured budget padding and delay in budget passing, his links to Offa robbery is still there
5. This point is actually laughable. Saraki is the most detested politician among Yorubas. You saw his reception at the ojude oba in Ogun state. The entire Saraki family are hated everywhere in the Southwest. He has always denied his Yoruba ancestry and Hausas have always denied him too like they denied his father. I can even say Atiku will have a more favourable reception in the SW than Saraki
6. Power of which many? How many of them are actual power brokers in their state? All of them have personal ambitions, D you think Atiku who has been nursing the ambition of ruling Nigeria for almost 30yrs when Saraki was still in his 20's will suddenly abandon that and follow Saraki? Or is it Kwankwanso?
7. Which abysmal performance? Many people still believe that under Buhari corruption has reduced and he is doing a good job given the opposition of the senate
The NW, SW and NE the regions will the highest voting population are still with Buhari
Who will Saraki pick as his running mate? picks SE and he can be guaranteed of voting apathy in the SS. The SS were for PDP because of their man Jonathan, now if they have no candidate on the ballot, there is a huge chance Buhari even adds Edo, Cross River and 40% of Delta and 30% in Akwa Ibom Stone gist. Who said saraki has influence in Kwara State. Come Kwara State and you will not say that again. The few people that will vote for him are those that are stealing Kwara resources together. First civil servant are the majority. State are presently owing 60% of them. Unemployment is more than 60%. So bukola should forget Kwara State because he can never redeem his image again. |

BabaAlabi: Your comment shows you did not read the stated points. Or you read it and did not understand. North Central, South South, South East, Half of south west and 3 states from the core north will give saraki the presidency. You know nothing. Am sorry to call you mumu because your comments are just making to feel somehow. Who will vote bukola in Kwara State? May be you and your family. Even the ilorin indegen that always voted him are all wise now. He is good in rigging election results but this will be different. You can't talk about other places but stop saying south west and north central will vote him. Open your senses this guy. |

BabaAlabi: I stated 7 reasons why he can. You simply made a statement without points to back it up. Tell me why not? My friend I am presently in south west and closer to the north central. U can't know more than I do unless u are trying to campaign for Bukola. Before u see someone that will say anything good about bukola presently, my guy u will try. Am telling you what is happening now in the north central. Almost 85% of kwarans have turned their back against bukola. Everywhere u go, you here people condemning him. He can only win in other rigion, but South west and north central, forget it. Several people are in pains and abject poverty because of this man's greed. No any development. No any positive sign to say a senate president comes from there. He is a pain to everyone ass. @poster,do not just sit down in abuja or Lagos and be telling us what we know more than you. Even all his past won elections were magomago and election rigging. Some of his criminals he always use to perpetrate election evils are presently in abuja prison or cell. Both Saraki and Buhari, i dont want them in power. This is a very difficult math to solve. Because i dont see any credible candidate. |
Politics › Re: 7 Reasons Why Saraki is The Next President Of Nigeria by imam07: 7:55pm On Sep 01, 2018 |
BabaAlabi: Welcome to this thread. You probably opened the thread with convictions in your mind. Either You think Buhari will defeat any candidate hands down or Saraki can never become the pdp presidential nominee. Either way, please do us all a favour, set aside your convictions and political beliefs and let’s discuss for a moment.
The 7 points made below show how Saraki can win Buhari. If you disagree, attack the points one by one. If at the end your points are valid, you would have the honour of effectively ending Saraki’s fledgling campaign. If you stupidly counter with chants of ‘Sai Buhari' or sai atiku. You simply prove that the candidate you support and his followers are unable to critically reason. Are you ready?
1) North Central When it comes to politics, many non-northern Nigerians are scared of the north. They are afraid of their large populace which will support their candidate even With a knife to their throat. While this mindless followership has been their strength since 1960, it can also be their weakness. The core north is basically the North West and the North East. Take away North Central and their power has been weakened. Right now Buhari is largely unpopular in most states in the north central: Benue, Jos, Taraba, and Nassarawa due to security reasons. Kogi due to the ineptitude of the current APC governor Niger and Kwara due to influence from Babangida and Saraki respectively. Bukola Saraki is from North Central. If he is made the major opponent of Buhari, the core north will kick against him because he is from north Central. They feel he is not one of them effectively showing North Central indigenes that they can never be president. This will lead to massive support for Saraki from the North Central.
2. Saraki brings more to the table Atiku, Kwankwaso and other core north candidates will find it hard to even deliver their state in 2019. This is why APC are very confident because Buhari is a legend in the core north. None of the aforementioned can defeat Buhari in the core north whereas Saraki can deliver 6 states in the North Central. Why give the nominee to a candidate who will be flawlessly beaten by Buhari in his own region?
3. Youths Let’s face it. The youths have a great part to play in this election. The youths make up a large number of the voting population. When it comes to Buhari vs Saraki for the youths, Buhari will definitely pack to Daura. Buhari’s contempt for Nigerian youths cannot be hidden. He has insulted them time and time again on the world stage. He has ensured their continuous oppression with SARS. He has made them unemployed, hungry and frustrated. Saraki is already popular among young Nigerians. Compared to ancient Atiku, Saraki is the clear choice.
4. Public Perception Currently in Nigeria, the only citizen who has withstood Bihari, Tinubu, IG of Police and the entire APC is Saraki. Nigerians feel Saraki is smart enough to defeat Buhari. He trounced the Code of Conduct Bureau witch hunt. He has humiliated the IG of police. He is perceived as smart and intelligent with the way he became senate president and ruined Tinubu’s planned dictatorship of the senate.
5. South West Admittedly, Tinubu has most south western states in the palm of his hand. This is fortunately for governorship elections only! When it comes to the presidency, yorubas don’t mindlessly follow like the core north. They will not vote for Buhari just because Tinubu tells them to vote. They will not vote for a candidate that wrecked them economically. Right now, Osun state indigenes are looking for any opportunity to vote out APC. Fayose will never allow APC to embarrass him a second time with rigging so Ekiti state is in the bag. Ajimobi is seen as a power drunk fool with the recent demolition spree so Oyo state is up for grabs. Bukola Saraki is also Yoruba so they will feel a connection with him. Among other pdp candidates, none will resonate with the south west like Saraki.
6. The power of many If the present pdp presidential aspirants come together as one, they will collectively weaken Buhari in the north. If they decide to go as lone wolves or bicker about the nomination outcome, they will strengthen Buhari. Kwankwaso can get few votes from Kano instead of APC to be gifted with bloc Kano votes. Tambuwal can help with Sokoto and Atiku can help with Adamawa. Dankwambo can help deliver Gombe. Even if winning is near impossible, a few votes from these areas will go a long way to help Saraki’s pdp to win.
7. The Buhari curse Generally let us not forget the abysmal performance of Buharis administration. Tribal and religious sentiments aside, Buhari has been the worst Nigerian president. He simply must go back to Daura. 4 out of 6 geopolitical zones know this. 4 out of 6 geopolitical zones will win PDP the election. Finally 4 out of 6 zones can be delivered by Saraki. What do you think? Idiotic post. They hate saraki in North Central. Especially Kwara State hate him like shit. They don't want both Buhari and Bukola as the president but they will prefer Buhari to Bukola. The saying of enemy of my enemy is my friend. |

Aafuye12: Agriculture Governor Ahmed flagged off the Kwara Agricultural Modernization Master Plan (KAMP 2012-2017), designed in partnership with Cornell University, New York, University of Ilorin and Kwara State University to create agro-driven economic diversification and establish Kwara State as the sub-region’s economic hub.
One of KAMP’s main strategies was development of the agriculture value chain development in rice, soya, cassava and rice.
Under its Off-taker Demand-Driven Agricultural Activities (ODDA), the Ahmed administration disbursed N214 million to 172 lead farmers for improved mechanised farming across the state.
Furthermore, the Kwara Agro Mall (KWAMALL), which provides loan facilities, subsidies, consultation and equipment to farmers, was established in Ilorin. The centre bridges the gap between farmers and consumers by linking farmers with off-takers. Hundreds of farmers spread across the State have benefited from the activities of KWAMALL which will help to position Kwara State for sustainable agro-development
Education As part of contributions to the development of the education sector, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed constructed and rehabilitated 400 block of classrooms at primary and secondary school levels. His administration introduced free tuition and notebooks at senior secondary school level. From the inception of the present administration, a tremendous transformation has been recorded in the Health Sector in Kwara State under the able Leadership of Governor Ahmed. One of the major thrusts of his administration is the provision of quality and affordable health care for the people within 500M radius, an intention he has pursued with tenacity.
The Community Health Insurance
Scheme (CHIS), under which enrolees receive all-year round healthcare for a paltry sum of N500, has been extended to 110, 000 beneficiaries and adjudged as one of the most successful by the United Nations (UN). The programme is targeted to reach one million rural dwellers before the end of 2018.
In the same vein, medical equipment was distributed to all Government Hospitals as well as MDG equipment to 13 General Hospitals and 43 primary health care centers across the state.

Come 2019 in the next election. Those people u see condemning saraki now are the same people that will vote him and his candidates. Remove Ilorin frome Kwara and u see Saraki loose election. But with ilorin indigen, I don't trust them. They all have a central place to decide where they are going. They don't vote for who is outside their religion regardless of if the candidate is credible. |

Blame Bukola Saraki, Emir of Ilorin and ilorin indigen for the problem in Kwara State. This is because Bukola Saraki favored them 50% more than the other people from other town outside ilorin. Ilorin indigen alone hold 50% of sensitive post in Kwara while the other towns shared the remaining 50%.So why are the ilorin people crying foul now. |

mrrights: Group award Kwara governor as worst in history https://mrrightsng..com/2018/08/group-award-kwara-governor-as-worse-in.html
Kwara Must Change, a pro-Democracy group is using this opportunity to notify the general public that our movement shall be conferring an award of the worst governor in the history of Nigeria on his Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatai Ahmed, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Kwara Must Change believe very strongly that only the people can truly rate the performance of an administration and without any iota of doubt, all Kwarans, including those serving in government are anonymous in their conclusion of the devastating failure of Abdulfatai Ahmed led government of Kwara State.
Apart from the absolute lack of leadership by the governor and his dummy like followership of a misguided godfather, evidences of misappropriation, endemic corruption, infrastructural degradation, educational decimation, poverty domestication, political irresponsibility, rascality of the highest order plus other shameful conducts of the governor are too numerous to mention.
We believe that such mind blowing failure needed to be symbolically recognized for the purpose of history, hence the need to confer on the governor, the award of worst Governor not only in the history of Kwara State, but also in the history of Nigeria.
Though, we are aware that Governor Ahmed’s suitability for the award of worst governor in the history of Nigeria is arguable, but most certainly, no one can debate about his undisputable qualification for the award of worst governor In the history of Kwara State.
In term of quality Education, It was under Governor Ahmed that Kwara Must Change discovered several schools across all senatorial district having only one staff, who doubles as head master, cleaner, teacher for all classes from primary 1-6 and teaching all subjects including English and Mathematics.
In term of Grassroot development, It was under Governor Ahmed that Kwara Must Change discovered that some Kwarans in Baruten Local Government are already claiming Benin Republic, not because they wanted to secede to another country, but because they have been totally abandoned in such a manner that they wonder if they are still a part of the state, because there is no road linking them to the rest of the state and they even go to Benin Republic for basic things such as medication because there is no hospital in the whole environment. In this same local government, there has never been electricity for the past 20years. The only time they came close to having electricity was between 1999-2003, when late Governor Alabi Lawal provided all necessary equipment, but upon assumption of office by his successor, all the project was shutdown.
In term of water supply, Under Governor Ahmed’s predecessor, Bukola Saraki, an almost completed water project by late Governor Lawal was halted and another water project was said to have been awarded for N4billion. After 8 years of Saraki administration without any drop of water, Governor Ahmed took over and also continued the imaginary water project, by re-awarding it for another N5billion in his first tenure. Till this day, after a combined N9billion wasted on a so called water project, the Governor is rounding up 8years tenure without any drop of water. The whole state, including the state capital cannot boost of having potable water.
In term of accessible motorable road across the state, Kwara Must Change had also toured the state and found no single state road that is motorable, except the road to the Government house. We had in the past challenged the state government to mention just one state road that is motorable, but even they could not. As it stands today, there is no one single road in Kwara state without pothole.
In term of Workers welfarism, it is no longer news that Kwara state pay the lowest salary in Nigeria, but to make matter worst, even the least salary is not being paid, including non-payment of sweepers salaries who earn maximum of N7000 per month. Just few weeks ago, the dignified sweepers marched in protest to call for public help in getting their 2 years salaries, state owned institution workers also protested last week due to none payment of over a year salary.
These are just the few examples we can cite due to space, but there are many more.
It is in recognition of the monumental failure of Governor Ahmed, that Kwara Must Change deemed it fit to honor the governor, with an award of the worst governor in the history and we hope to ensure this award is properly recorded in history as example to all bad leaders.
Details of the award program shall be made public very soon.
Abdulrazaq O Hamzat Kwara Must Change Who is Abdulrazaq Hamzat. What a name. An ilorin indigen. Ilorin people killed Kwara State because they always vote on religion bases and vote anything that comes from Saraki. Omo wa nii let vote for him. That is the style of Ilorin people and the emir. Even if bukola saraki present a goat as the governorship candidate, Ilorin indigen will vote for the goat so far the goat is Muslim and also presented by saraki. Is it not at ilorin centeral mosque the emir remote all ilorin indigen to vote fo Omo wa ni. I now wonder why the ilorin people are now condemning Saraki. |

BafanaBafana: Only one thing can make Buhari loose in 2019, which is him refusing to contest. Everybody with an an average IQ knows this. Have you ever wondered why enemies of Nigeria are begging him not to contest? Well, your reasoning no reach that side. Sorry Go every where and hear how Nigerians are suffering. Any where u see a gathering of people, all what they talk is how the economy is very hard. My friend 4 get what u are saying. If things continue like this. Buhari is a gunner. I even believe he will withdraw before 2019 because he has already seen hand written on the wall. |

EwuOjota: He is wasting his time.
Nigeria is not Kwara State. What Saraki just did now is called political suicide.
He is finished politically in Nigeria. You get eyes and u no dey see. Nigeria is not Kwara but he became a senate president over your state senators and over all senators in Nigeria. How did he do that? Because your senators are mumu. Dey there and be saying Nigeria is not Kwara until u see him as Nigeria president. Though i dont want him as the president so stop this your mumu talk that Nigeria is not Kwara. If u think kwarans are mumu, it means all Nigerians are mumu too for Bukola to be a senate president over us. |

God i see you are the only hope we all have to punish Saraki. Forgive all our sins because we banked our hope on ordinary flesh (Buhari) We tot Buhari would helped us to punish him, but we realized it was a fluke. Buhari is like a rat in front of a cat. God who else do we have if not you. Buhari really disappointed kwarans. They tot Buhari wld deliver them from bukola bondage but Buhari power could not. For those laughing at bukola saraki because Akpabio left pdp. Akpabio leaving saraki is just like u removed one cup of water from the ocean. Is a waste of time. I wld have been happy because of Atiku in pdp but Atiku can never withstand Bukola Saraki. God here we are, deliver us from the hands of develish leaders. |

Reminder! Today, Unexplained Wealth Orders (UWOs) come in to force. They are a new investigative power designed to help law enforcement act on corrupt assets. This is something that Transparency International has been advocating for since 2014.
For more on what UWOs are and how they work in practice, see our brief guide here.
They are particularly useful where there is no realistic prospect of cooperation or conviction in the country of origin, but there are sufficient grounds for suspicion that an asset has been acquired with the proceeds of corruption. Based on open source information, we have pulled together five cases where we believe law enforcement should consider using UWOs in forming a case for civil recovery proceedings against potentially illicit wealth.
1. KENWOOD GATE, HAMPSTEAD LANE, LONDON
Suspected owner: First family of Azerbaijan Estimated Value: £18 million
In 2015, the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) uncovered an £18 million mansion on Hampstead Lane, North London, belonging to the First family of Azerbaijan. According to Land Registry documents the mansion is owned by Beckforth Services Limited – an Isle of Man company. Official company documents from 2000 state that Beckforth was controlled by Ilham Aliyev, the country’s current President, and his wife Mehriban, who is his now Vice President. In 2012 the registered shareholder was recorded as Leyla Aliyeva, Ilham and Mehriban’s eldest daughter. Since then it has been recorded as a British Virgin Island company, Sonymore Limited, and then another Isle of Man company, Locki Limited, of which Leyla was the sole shareholder until 2014. Since then Locki’s registered shareholder has also been Sonymore and its current shareholder is itself as a trustee of another company.
At the time the property was bought Ilham Aliyev was Vice President of the country’s state-owned oil company, SOCAR, and his father was the country’s President. There is no public documentation about Ilham’s wealth or income at the time when the house was purchased. However, the First family of Azerbaijan are alleged by the OCCRP to have collected vast amounts of personal wealth by abusing their positions of power. Ilham Aliyev has been the country’s President since 2003 and currently has an official annual salary of £75,000. Although elected officials are not yet required to publish the details of their assets, latest estimates by the OCCRP claim the Aliyev family hold a global property portfolio worth at least £100 million, including £41 million in London real estate.

You think we be mumu like you. Where did u keep all these information when Bukola Saraki was in Apc? So Oshiomole and Buhari is using u. I no be fan of Bukola Saraki but all these your new tactics is irritating people and is making Saraki to be more popular. What even surprise me is Bukola Saraki is more popular than anyone in apc including Buhari and Tinubu. Both of u pdp and apc i pray u will all be confused. |
