BreconHills: Where do you people come from? Someone enters your land one day and slaughters people. You respond and you are talking about reputational damage? What is Israel to do - the whole nation should come out and offer their necks to be slit?
It was jokers like the poster who blamed Ukraine for Russias invasion.
Israel left Gaza in 2005. Hamas overthrew the Fatah party and became an army of occupation bringing misery to Palestinians and non Palestinians alike. A party has a manifesto for the destruction of another country and you want to cuddle them. O ga o
And Israels response will damage its reputation? You must be on some good stuff. Israel left Gaza in 2005? go and read about the blockade of Gaza for 17years now When was Fatah ever in control of Gaza? Elections were held, Hamas beat Fatah with a landslide, america and israel said they won't accept a Hamas win and sponsored Fatah to carry out an armed coup against Hamas At the conclusion of the battles, Hamas won and roundly defeated Fatah. israel with the support of america blockaded Gaza to this day Hamas has always had democratic legitimacy among Palestinians and remains popular to this day israeli zionism is committed to the destruction of Palestine and you're questioning Hamas' manifesto Nairaland members are stupidly ignorant |

Penguin2: ”That men do not learn from history is the greatest lesson of history” - Unknown
Palestinians in Gaza are under the threat of extermination following Israeli bombardments of the region after thousands of Hamas invaded Israel and caused casualties on the Israeli side.
Unfortunately we saw some people, especially on Nairaland, celebrating the invasion and suggesting that Israel would be overrun. I actually shuddered in disbelief of some people’s ignorance and illiteracy or timidity or poor knowledge of history.
The big question is, what Hamas hope to achieve with that invasion?
To evict Israel from the entire Israeli territory?
To make Netanyahu bend the knee and beg them?
Or to challenge Israel to a fight?
What’s their military strength?
What ammunition do they have?
Which allies will fight with them in a war against Israel?
What funding do they have?
Like, what was really the rationale of the invasion?
Well, just a little history that had the Hamas kept it in mind, they wouldn’t have put Palestinians in the present precarious situation they’ve put them now.
0n June 5, 1967, the Arab world officially started a war with Isreal. The war was led by Egypt 🇪🇬 with other Arab countries providing either men, arms or logistics. The aim of the war was to disappear Israel from the face of the earth.
But guess what…
Israel defeated them in 6 days. And it came to be known as the 6 Days War (google it).
Ever since then, Egypt abandoned, almost forever, the idea of ever going to military conflict with Israel. They harmonized their relationship; especially around Mount Sinai and others, and have lived in relative harmony since then.
And then comes my question again….
If a conglomeration of Arab countries could not defeat Israel, but rather Israel defeated them in 6 days, what did the Hamas set out to achieve?
Now, they’ve given Israel to go full throttle in razing down Gaza without global condemnation which is what has always held them back from doing it all these years.
Ignorance is really a big disease 🦠, worse than HIV/AIDS actually. Because if not for it, Palestinians wouldn’t be where they are now.
I haven’t even talked about the fact that when push comes to shove, the world will be with Israel 🇮🇱, while only ragtag and insignificant countries might identify with Palestinians.
This was a mistake that should never have been made. was it not Hezbollah that beat israel blue black? you people overhype this israel go and watch Al-Jazeera's documentary on the six day war to know why the Arabs lost can Israel beat Turkey, Iran or Pakistan in a war? talkless of Muslims collectively uniting? can idf forces even beat hamas fighters in gun battles? Let Muslims have popular governments in their countries, instead of foreign installed suppressive puppet regimes and let's see what'll become of Israel what hasn't israel done to the Palestinians? is it the bombings, military assaults, torture, illegal detentions, starvations, mass murder? What exactly can they do that they've not done? The only way israel can defeat the Palestinians is if they wipe them out i.e. ethnic cleansing, and if they do that, they should be prepared to face the same...another world war will happen Israel is overhyped, all they're very good at is racist mass killings, there's nothing brave about them |

Eastlink: West Africa is not 70% Muslim. I can give Islam 40% in West Africa and Christianity 60%. The population of Nigeria alone is 50% of west Africa and Christians make up 58% while Islam 42%. Now countries like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry and Cape Verde are majority Christians. While countries like Senegal, Gambia, Mauritania, Mali, and Niger are muslim majority.
Since the West African population density lies in the coastal areas while the northern section is arid, this mean that Christanity is the major religion by population and also by number of countries in West Africa. Guinea Conakry is 89% Muslim, Sierra Leone 78% Muslim, Burkina Faso 73% Muslim,Guinea Bissau 48% Muslim( the majority), Ivory Coast has a Muslim majority with 42%( the remaining 58% is shared by other beliefs with Christianity having 39%). They're all Muslim majority countries E shock you abi |

BiafraAburi: Illiterate, the filanis are the largest ethnic group in Guinea Conakry doesn't mean any jack. I clearly wrote about their influence. Use our dictionary to understand the word influence before coming here to expose your ignorance. The fulanis are not allowed anywhere near power in Guinea Conakry and it has been so since independence in 1958 until today. Guineans are not a docile people like nigerians.
The Guineans know the fulanis and their evil ways, and thus, does not give them any room to operate their evil ways in their country. Fulanis are never known as a progressive people, rather they are known for being retrogressive anywhere they are.
Hand them over a well built place/system and they will destroy it. They are a people known to never live in peace with their hosts. They don't have any country they are indigenous to. They come to your land, the next thing is to kill you and take over your land. Others come to your land, assimilate and live in peace with you.
In Mali, they are far distant number 2, in ethnic populations. Bambara are the owners of the country, called Mali. Bambara 33.3%, Fulani (Peuhl) 13.3%, Sarakole/Soninke/Marka 9.8%, Senufo/Manianka 9.6%, Malinke 8.8%, Dogon 8.7%, Sonrai 5.9%, Bobo 2.1%, Tuareg/Bella 1.7%, other Malian 6%,
In Burkina Faso, Fulanis are number also much far distant in number 2, in ethnic populations. The Mossi are the owners of the country. 52% Mossi 8.4% Fula 7% Gurma 4.9% Bobo 4.6% Gurunsi 4.5% Senufo 2.4% Lobi 1.9% Tuareg 0.8% Dyula The current military ruler of Burkina Faso is a muslim, but not a fulani, and have killed and several fulani terrorists since he assume power. Good is your friend.
Fulani in Niger Republic are only about 2 million of over 25 million Nigerien population and have no single influence in that country. Just never allow them to have any influence just as Ghanaians are doing, or else your country will become a cesspit of evil like nigeria. You're the fool that doesn't know the difference between control and influence To posit that Fulani, the largest ethnic group in Guinea have no influence is idiotic at best...if you say they don't have full control or dominate politically, that's different Same line of argument applies to the rest, you blubbering oaf |
Politics › Re: Mali Cancels 11 Colonial Agreements Imposed On African Countries Since 1960. by IMEI: 4:40pm On Aug 05, 2023 |
BiafraAburi: They are able to do this because there are no fulani influence in those regions of Africa. Wonder why Ghana and Guinea Conakry don't give those slavish fulanis any room to breath? The fulanis are the easiest group to be used by the colonial masters to hold other Africans down. The Fulani are the largest ethnic group in Guinea, they are the second largest in Mali and Burkina Faso. In Niger, they're the fourth largest Google isn't for decoration |

The region with a well documented history stretching back thousands of years is poor? The only thing poor about the North is the extent of its autonomy under this federal setup I don't like going tribal but, why did Igbos in the North claim Northern identity when a bunch of jobbers gave them an ultimatum? Baddestguyp: why should the High Table have an issue declaring the entire Roma family excommunicado?
The Marquis they appointed killed Pyotr and nothing happened...they were even powerless to retailiate until John Wick did...
So why should the Marquis have problem with them? John Wick alone had the High Table on edge, John now with the Roma and potentially the bowery king and his soldiers? I can see why the High Table wouldn't want that |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IMEI: 1:29pm On May 25, 2023 |
Baddestguyp: I don't see how the "second rate seat" could protect Wick from the High Table and the Marquis
If we recall, didn't they state that the 12 members of the High Table delegated power to the Marquis?
I think you're overestimating the Roma family. They admitted they were still under the table.
The Marquis also killed Pyotor and they could do nothing to him...
So what makes you think they could protect John Wick? Pyotr was killed in retaliation for John killing the Elder. John killed Killa, the killer of Pyotr as revenge and to allow John challenge and kill the Marquis via a duel by allowing him rejoin them Clearly, the Roma are defiant and are willing to risk the face-off with the High Table The Roma are under the Table, but it is a whole lot complicated with Wick being an official member, as that would mean declaring the entire Roma excommunicado for re-accepting Wick if the duel is refused |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IMEI: 1:14pm On May 25, 2023 |
Baddestguyp: I disagree...
John Wick was more likely to die than the Marquis... He had thousands of assassins ready to kill Wick... He kept increasing the bounty... In fact Wick would have died if not for help from Caine and Mr Nobody... Wick would have died on his way to the venue Exactly, he would have died if not for Caine and nobody because the route John would have to take was known and it was lined up with assassins |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IMEI: 1:09pm On May 25, 2023 |
Baddestguyp: The same Ruska Roma was referred to as a second-rate seat by the Marquis
The Marquis assassinating John Wick cannot lead to a war with the high table... If so...then why did the Marquis send people to kill Wick on his way to the venue of the duel?
The High Table is actively against John Wick for his crimes...being under the protection of one family does not stop them from assassinating him That's why i said accepting the duel will draw him out and refusing would risk Wick going to the Roma and being protected by them The Roma gave John the ability to challenge for a duel and accepted him into their fold despite him being excommunicado was a crime by High Table rules The fact that the Roma accepted Wick back despite their member being punished in part 3(the lady whose hands were impaled by zero) for giving audience to Wick, meant that the Roma were willing to face the High table John had to leave the protection of the Roma to take part in the duel and the Roma had agreed to John risking his life in the duel. It would be a different prospect if John ran back to the Roma and they came to kill him in their territory |
TV/Movies › Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IMEI: 12:12pm On May 25, 2023 |
Baddestguyp: why would John think killing the Elder would change anything... He's spent years as an assassin...he knows how it works...he did it out of revenge
The problem with stating that the Marquis had a right of refusal is that it leads to another can of worms... What exactly did he benefit from it? He never had a problem tracking Wick in chapter 3 and chapter 4
It's basically a risk for not enough gain...a risk of Wick walking away after killing Caine and the Marquis paying for it
John Wick was literally fvcked without the duel...it was only a matter of time It was his best bet of killing Wick and being the one who goes down as ending John Wick |
