Xiaomi have entry level and midrange phones that are spec'ed better than Tecno phones. And talking about affordability, Xiaomi are known for selling great phones at incredibly low prices. What you're seeing are the top level phones not those recycled pieces of crap from Tecno and infinx them.

A 50k Xiaomi phone is better than a 70k Tecno phone. Ask those who know.

Bro, u don't need a dog to change ur life, truth is dt I was once at ur place, I always fantasized about someone gifting me a dog, I knew it would be hard for a stranger, so I got closer to families ND friends who had foreign dogs, now this seemed like I envied people with foreign dogs like u right? Truth is dt, u feel dose foreign dogs elevated their status ND u want one so it will elevate urs too(dts a wrong reason to want a dog)
Eventually most of my family friends dissapointed, so I forgot abt d pride in owning a foreign dog ND focused on what I could afford ND still get what I always wanted, I got myself two local dogs, I gave these dogs the best of attention ND food, I even go on walks with them, infact I can boldly say I was the first person to start walking local dogs in my area, when I walked with them, people asked "what breed is it?" cos dey were nt used to people walking local dogs plus my dogs looked so well taken cared of, I was satisfied, eventually I wanted a foreign dog, I saved up money ND tried to get cheap ones to buy cos I was tired of people telling me "u think it's easy to take care of a dog?" eventually I got my first foreign dog, my parents could afford a dog be dey never saw it as a necessity, they warned me nt to bring a dog to their home, threatened me dt I would nt get an allowance again since I am getting enough money to buy a dog but I didn't listen
I bought my first GSD ND I was api dt I used my money to buy it, when I say allowance, it was out of d 50-100 naira dey gave me daily to school den oo, so y can't u save up?
I never bred any of my dogs as most people will think was d reason I got my dogs.
Fast forward, I ve owned several dogs over the years now, taking care of a dog might seem easy from a distance until u start taking care of it, my parents eventually grew to love dogs, ND eventually dey would call me wen dey need a dog, I would save up again ND buy for Dem, ND I also try to arrange monthly feeding for d pups cos I don't trust my folks to feed right, but still all d pups I left with Dem died. What was d problem here? They loved dog right? ND feel dey can take care of it right? They had finance right? But what did dey lack? Knowledge!!! The pups always fed right, but still died, this shows dt it takes more Dan feeding to keep a dog.
I recently came to jos, ND I went to a place they slaughter dogs, and I picked a dog there ND bought just so I could change its unfortunate life, eventually the local dog transformed, so I decided to go back ND change d life of another local dog, but when I got there, I saw a gsd, I paid a token for an adult Gsd ND I went home to transform it, (isn't dt a great way to get a cheap dog?), time passed, I saw some men trying to kill a dog, I asked y ND dey said d dog was useless say na only meat e fit be, I begged Dem to give me d dog, but dey refused, so I offered Dem money ND dey agreed, now I have 3 dogs here in jos excluding d once I ve bk at home, one cauc, one gsd ND one local, I am here in jos temporarily, I didn't get any of these dogs cos I envied people, I got Dem cos I wanted to change their lives.

You will get a dog in places where u least expect

Never knew I will still visit this thread. I was seeing a movie this evening, just after a very tiring day which was influenced by the Hustle and Bustle of the day. Access Bank organized #RunLagos, which is basically a running competition today. Traffic was crazy, and I was "hearing" funny comments in the bus today when the bus had to be on a standstill for almost 3omins, wasting productive time. I heard remarks like : Must the race be organized in Lagos? Is Lagos the only state that Access Bank is located? Why can't it be held in the north esp Maiduguri where LGAs are kilometers apart from each other? Why can it be held on a road like the one between Saki and Oyo in Oyo state, where you get to see maybe one car in 2 hrs? The crazy thing was that the guys making this comments were very hilarious and the whole bus was filled with humour. One woman sarcastically commented on how her daughter of less than 5years was able sleep comfortably while sweating under the profuse heat in the poorly maintained bus. A part of me was saying they were all blabbing cos their opinions is holding no 'waters'. The deed has been done, and nothing can be done to undo it.
Back to the topic of discourse.... I decided to see a movie on my laptop (which is gradually turning to a desktop cos it is getting immobile bit by bit cos of it screen that can't shut.... Flex issue). The title of the movie is MEGAN LEAVEY.
It was about a lady that wanted to get away from the hard time she was experiencing, and joined the army. Along the line, she found herself in the canine unit, and loved the job more. Her task was to be a dog handler who control a dog that detects bomb, explosives and other dangerous things in an hostile scenario. As one of the canine handlers said, "Many atimes, we are in the front of the Frontline during an assualt. We carry our bag packs hold on to our rifles, and then still hold on to the leash of a dog who w is pulling against it most of the times". In other for Megan to be effective on her job, she needed to bond with Rex, an aggressive Alsatian she was assigned to. It got a little though but she over came the barrier over time. She so much bonded with Rex that two scenarios intrigued me. First was when the got hit by an explosive, he very next concern was her canine partner's safety before her colleagues', as she was chanting Rex's name repeatedly before a colleague came to g drag her off danger. The other one was when she fell of a vehicle that was evacuating her while in motion... Rex ran out of the moving vehicle and stayed with her. The level of bond was at its height. She tried to order Rex into the vehicle for its safety but he vehemently declined the order.
Megan resigned and Rex was to be retired, she tried all her best to adopt him. Her life was totally incomplete without him, and at that point, it was as it a scenario between me and the canines in Dogbreath Kennel was playing out, especially with Maya. Few drops of tears raced down my cheeks and I felt like owning a dog instantly. The bind was great, and she felt like a part of me already. She knew what I would require of her, and vice versa, but the powerful Jaws of death got a sizeable grip of her. My time with the dogs really when a long way in recovering from a broke relationship, and my separation from them was like the reopening of a healing wound. It was (and is a painful) experience that I have been battling for almost 2 years now, that is healing at a very slow pace.
I sure will own my own canine someday. I definitely would, and I will make sure I get a progeny of Ken, Maya, or Bail. I just might even get a progeny of all of them by God's grace when I am much loaded cashwise.
I had to stay awake 30mins extra to compose this write up cos I just realised how much I missed them, and how worthless their influence can be in one's well being. Can't wait to own a dog I can call my own.
