samtol4:Thank you! I already submitted an online application for SAQA, I just haven't paid and sent my application pack via e-mail. Please, do you know how long the verification really takes? I've read all varying answers online. |
Hello guys. I'm currently working on a Masters application to the University of Pretoria. I'd like to know if UP offers admission w/o the SAQA certificate. I mean, do/can they allow for submission of the certificate after an applicant has been offered a place? I look forward to your responses. Thanks. PS. I have already e-mailed them, but I haven't heard back from them. |
Please don't just read and pass. Drop a comment if you have any info. Please |
Good morning, Nairalanders. Please does anyone know of firms that lend money to Nigerian students to fund their studies abroad (Sweden, particularly)? Before you ask me if I have had a second thought on my decision, I should say that I have, and I feel it's the best option available to me right now. I have been applying for scholarships since 2017 and have never won any! Name it, Erasmus, Turkiye, CSC... and whatnot. I get admitted quite alright, but the scholarship doesn't just follow, and I am tired! The SISGP was the last straw. I had the highest hopes for that one, but the list of recipients was released yesterday and I didn't make it. However, I still hold the admission offer from my dream school for my dream course, and I don't want to lose it this time like previous times. Please help me, I feel like I'm wasting away. I need to be back into academia. Please, I'd very much appreciate any useful information about money-lending firms. PS. I have checked online and I found that most of them target US, UK or Canada schools and/or US citizens. I need info on one which works well for Nigerians and has Sweden as one of its targets. Admins, please help move this to FP. I beg you. Please |
MJBOLT:And this is the guy's point. The hypocrisy is sickening. |
IDOH+ applicants in the house? |
CotenantNIG:I need an apartment in Obalende. Can you help? |
Adebayo2296:Congratulations |
Ultimus:Ha ha... I sure will. |
Ultimus:Thank you. Unfortunately there are no alternatives. My first choice program specifically says NO to alma mater letters. Writing the test this late is just a price I'm paying for poor planning. |
Ultimus:Thank you. I really wonder why they require an English proficiency test from us Nigerians. It's what's going to delay my application. |
OmalikoCj:1. Eligibility verification from Feb 2nd to Feb 23rd 2. Application Assessment in view to get a seat for an interview from Feb 24th to Mar 12th 3. Interviews (only for the shortlisted applicants) from March 18th to March 21st ...That's from the page of one of the programs. A quick one- how many applications did you make and submit? |
Ultimus:Thank you. So, applying via the EMJMD portal obviates the submission of applications to all three schools? |
Postfut:I didn't say I was having a problem uploading it on a drive and sharing, I only said sharing privately would be easier for me. Anyway, I just created the link... https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=14jRnTtum-gXRFl7nhc3Ig7OL4bJM_W4E |
ace1995:The thread is replete with such links, brother. Read some pages back. |
Postfut:Lovely suggestion! I'm all for public sharing, but then, the Grail is 21MB, and I'd checked- the maximum upload size for a non-JPEG is just 250KB. It's easier for me to share privately than create a drive link for a single file. I share with you, you can then devise a means to share with others on here. |
doziej84:You can check the many links that have been shared on here, it should be on one or two of them. Let me know if you don't find it, I might have to share with you privately. |
Lamzee:"Final Secondary Examination Results (e.g. West African Senior School Certificate) must be submitted directly to WES by the appropriate examining body for evaluation along with all higher education documents. No evaluation will be completed without the final secondary examination results (from WAEC) (Now,) If the examining body gives you the document to send to WES, it must be in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate examining body. If the envelope is opened or there is no stamp or signature across the back flap, WES cannot accept the document." https://www.wes.org/required-documents/ |
