My own issue is SAQA o. I don't know if you or anyone can help. I made payment and e-mailed my documents on August 13th, and I haven't heard from them since. I have called and sent several e-mails. It's frustrating. UP is literally waiting for this SAQA certificate to make their decision on my application.

Help o. It's been over a month since I submitted my documents to SAQA, no update, no reference number; nothing. Those that had to make their unis send their documents to SAQA, what documents did your uni send, precisely?

tannystacey has said it all. If you have the funds to make Teeside work, biko don't dull; SA pales in comparison in terms of opportunities, plus, w/ the UK you get a 2-year post-study permit (3 years for PhD). I also got an offer at the Uni of Hull, but I'm unfortunately not able to make it work and that's why I'm on this SA journey (+ a couple other reasons).

Who are those people that are selling dates?? Nigerians take advantage of any slight opportunity. The Polish embassy needs to something about this legalization issue. Many students have been denied vital opportunities in Poland due to their inability to legalize documents. I don't blame them anyway. It's quite unfortunate we find ourselves in this devastating country, Nigeria. Nigerians don't have values anymore.

Actually, DHET has mandatory all SA public schools to require SAQA before applicants are guving admission but UP sometimes allows that to pass. I know of many that didn't have SAQA and they are currently on their PhD, Master or honour now.

There is no specific period. Once you have paid the application fees and submit the application online, they will contact your school in Nigeria. The response of your school will determine how long the verification will take. In a situation where your school failed or refused to respond, the process will be delayed, but if the school reply then 2 to 4 weeks processing time
