I am taking the facts of this story with a ton of salt. I don’t trust Nigerian banks. I still heard on the radio yesterday, how a bank got someone imprisoned over a land the guy bought. I’m not sure the bank is not trying to deal with guy. Where is his lawyer? After all the law requires that he has legal representation.

If this is true then it is most insulting to us as Nigerians. They better bring those people to come and vote for them. Did USA call or approach us for their last election? Colo mentality.

The students and ASUU are both wasting their time. When they are ready, both NANS and ASUU will storm Abuja to compel the National Assembly to pass the law to prohibit government officials and political office holders from sending their children to school abroad and contravening the law should be punishable by imprisonment. It may sound ridiculous but the time and situation Nigeria has found itself requires special solution and approach. Same thing should be applied to the medical sector. The bunch of elites we have now are just out for themselves and nobody will help Nigeria and Nigerians but we ourselves. It is even comical of us that our so called ministers and governors will not send their children to school in Nigeria and will also go for the graduation and shamelessly be posting such on social media. So their own children are too good for the food they are serving to Nigeria and we still leave this people in office. How many people will eat in a canteen that the cook there openly says he can not eat the food? Is something wrong with our head? Can’t we think? Australia passed the law that Australians with dual citizenship can not be elected into the Legislature because they want people devoted to the National cause. We better wake up and do whatever it takes to put Nigeria first.

Nigerians should beware the poisoned chalice. The question to ask is why will the USA be granting access to Atiku now? What has Atiku offered the USA in return for this? Everyone knows America’s policy right now is America first as exhibited by their President especially in the murder of the Saudi journalist. USA has been wary of the movement into Africa by the Chinese and here is an opportunity to have a puppet as president in Nigeria just for allowing him access into the USA, if na you nko wetin you for do? So, Nigerians should beware the trade-off by Atiku.

I fully support and expect the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to take action on this. It is not only about banning local artists with vulgar lyrics from the air wave. A law has been passed banning this thing in Nigeria, how dare DSTV come and broadcast this in our land in absolute contravention of our laws. NBC should instruct DSTV not to broadcast the thrash here in Nigeria. How they do it is their business. It's not just about parents blocking the station. Nigeria passed a law and all government agencies must protect the law. This is almost like an assault on our sovereignty. DSTV, be warned. Otherwise, prepare for your own MTN fine. A word is enough for the wise. We kuku need the money.

Some people just lack the ability to think. As for all these hungry lawyers who are giving useless and rent-seeking opinions, if there is any lawyer who is willing to take the place of Dasuki and accept to take up all charges upon himself if/when Dasuki jumps bail, let him come and stand as surety for him. How anyone could even be contemplating bail for these guys is beyond me. They should be facing treason charges and I don't think there is bail for that. There are soldiers in jail facing possible death sentences because these guys diverted the funds that were meant to equip them. Has anyone thought that this could have been enough reason for coup or mutiny. Could Dasuki have been financing the Boko Haram people in order to promote insecurity in the land so as to justify the request for extra funds? If this guy is allowed to walk free, can he not reconnect with his contacts to destabilise this present government? Could this his incarceration be linked to the reduction of Boko Haram activities as their financier is inaccessible? Thinking back, when Dasuki requested for six weeks postponement before last election and there was a reduction, was he the puppet master simply directing the drama? So many questions. But one thing I am sure of, no person that stole/misappropriated trillions of naira deserves any bail because even our constitution did not envisage this type of looting and plundering. The Chinese kill such people because they equate them to a disease which cannot be allowed to spread as they will infect others and corrupt the system. They should be treated worse than we did Ebola, after all how many people died from Ebola and how many lives have these people terminated by vicarious consequences of their action. Enough said.

These senate people are dunces. So when did senate become EFCC or ICPC or Police to now begin to investigate corrupt people? The truth is that Jimi's so called independence of mind has been thrashed by his willingness to cross to the PDP. If anything, it simply shows him to be a desperate opportunist who cannot be trusted which is what probably influenced his former allies in AD not trusting him with elective office. Or can anyone say that this Jimi that is willing to cross to PDP would not have crossed to PDP if elected on another platform. His desperation is further shown by his association with a Ifeanyi Ubah. Who could have ever thought of a Jimi associating with a Ifeanyi Ubah, but he is willing to do anything, even play up the ethnic card as he is doing. Never in the history of Lagos has political campaign in Lagos being this acrimonious, even with Obanikoro. So who is more Omo Luabi between the two of them. For Niger-Deltans, the key words for me are "global best practice". If this can be enforced, then the problem is half solved. Based on what you have done with Boko Haram over the past six weeks, it shows you deliberately ignored the situation all the while until you were faced with imminent flush out of office. At the end of your rule, either 2015 or 2019, be ready to face prosecution at ICC for criminal negligence.
