asha81: look the whole of South east is just coming out of oblivion, setting things right, attracting investments and creating a better place for its future. if you have anything with abagworo, sort things out with him and leave ndi imo alone. your attitude of bringing the the name of imo and its people to rubbish is uncalled for and hateful. i have nothing against anambra in fact i love the rest of SE states like they are mine and that is the way it should be if we all want a better future for ourselves. biko e ji m nna gi ayo gi. kusi ihe a e mega. ka ndi igbo niile na aga nihu. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Is Governor Ambode of Lagos State A Tribalist, (no Single Igbo As Commissioner)? by Incredibleme: 10:40am On Jul 03, 2016 |
yhemsy62:For a state as evolved as it is, lagos should be lesson to other states, a nomenclature of zero tribalism, unity, accountability, equity and every other thing that a nation require to thrust ahead. i asked for the list not because i want to find out if igbos were appointed, but to know if at least anyother non indegene was included. if this topic refered to another state wouldn't mind. i would say this again, lagos wouldn't be where it is today without the contributions of non yorubas. however the governor is free to choose whoever he wants in his cabinet. 2 Likes 1 Share |

xharder:honestly i'm sick and tired of the derogatory statements. if its not about okorocha its about the women or the people. the most annoying part is whenever anything good is said about any southeastern state, everyone sees it as development but if its in imo is regarded as caricature with all manners of spite. its disheartening to say the least. I weep for my people, yet we clamor oneness! smh... SamMilla1: xharder: |

op i am an average igbo and i do not hate any tribe in nigeria. we all love ourselves even if we have our differences, i mean, brothers also quarrel too. you will see the love Nigerians have for each other when an outsider oppose anyone of us. on event of the country breaking a away our culture has it that the wife follows the husband. abi no b so? but i do not wish so. Politics / In Imo Unarmed Women Chase Fulani Herdsmen Out Of Community by Incredibleme: 10:05pm On May 04, 2016 |
The Fulani herdsmen certainly met their match in Nekede and Ihiagwa communities, both in Imo state. Vanguard reports that the herdsmen and their cows always destroyed crops in the farmlands in those areas. The women in the communities were heartbroken when they saw how their hard work was trampled upon and destroyed. Reports say they called themselves together and held a meeting to brainstorm on what to do to curb the wicked actions of the Fulani herdsmen. They came up with a brilliant idea that involved spreading red hot chilli pepper on their farmland, knowing that cows cannot withstand the hotness of the pepper. The Fulani herdsmen who came back to the farmland as usual to let their cows graze on the farmlands, got the greatest surprise of their lives. They lost 15 cows that day, and since then, they never returned to graze on the farmlands in those areas. About 40 people were reported dead in Enugu State after an attack by Fulani herdsmen in Uzo- Uwani Local Government Area. The commissioner of police in Enugu state, Nwodibo Ekechukwu was redeployed by the Inspector-General of police, Solomon Arase, following the attacks. source: www.pulse.ng/local/in-imo-unarmed-women-chase-fulani-herdsmen-out-of-community-id4996524.html 1 Like |
