No worry when forkadict gboza their face with resignation letter. Going by your words, the boss would be shamed, not the company. hehe Exactly! |

@forkadict: About the pay being less than 200k, it just depends on the industry. On all the other issues of training and promotion, your boss is at fault here not the company. The guy is just mean and short-sighted.
I once had a boss like that. The day I was to resign, I made sure she was away on training. But she knew I was to leave. I had told her earlier that I got an opportunity and will be away the next day to tie it up and we need to take it as though I was ill for a day or two. She blew my cover the next day and gave me query on top. My body bin pain me. My blood bin hot!
Eventually I left on a friendly note, thanked everyone and moved on. Nothing lost. Our relationship still strictly professional. Her conscience fit judge am. I don't care. In life, sh*t happens. A year later, we communicated and no one remembers the incident. Or at least we will never bring it up again. |

tk4rd: What would be the best way for him to leave his present company.? because, I might have to face such challenges soon. My dear, u can give a speech that sounds like "u hv been like a father to me, given me responsibilities, and I have really grown in the job. I have you to thank for that." Whatever you say after then, your boss will give you a hug and wish you well. You try and keep in touch after then, even if it is only on LinkedIn. You walk through that door with no bad blood. No greater joy than that. |

This great company has messed up with this recruitment big time. We deserve an apology and compensation for time lost and emotional investment. In the spirit of fairness and equity, I move the motion that the MD/CEO should urgently intervene to approve this compensation in the month of October. I so move! |

The way we are flipping pages on NL, I thought mails have dropped.
Meanwhile, departments always get less than requested in most organizations - whether it is staffing or budget. It does not mean fewer than 100 ppl are absorbed.
I was informed GT training is for 2 years, and we'll work in several departments during that time. This talk of departmental allocation seems a bit odd.
In whichever case, my name is there sha. Somebody shout Halleluyah! |

In the 21st century, "slow and steady" only wins the race if there is no "fast and steady". Esp if fast n steady is possible. He has a way of using powerful memorable phrases. "I belong to no one, I belong to everyone". "Nobody should fear anything from me. We are not after anyone. People should only fear the consequences of their actions". DeeBlacque: So since I changed job in October 2014 and considering the accommodation cost in Lagos, I had to put up with an ex-colleague, since the NLNG employment was just around the corner and there wasn't any wisdom in paying a 2-years rent and getting out few months into the agreement. Well, 11months and a heartache after, with tears in my heart and a big hole pierced in my pocket by its effect, I finally got a place last week. Every night I come out of my apartment, look into the stars and pray fervently that my dream comes true. I'm ready to give up the accommodation cost; yes, even if the offer letter comes today. Oh, NLNG; My NLNG... #RekindledFaith My situation in 2013. I moved eventually, and 2 months into my rent, I had to relocate again. Not a strand of regret. Will do it again. Actually doing it again now. Just moved in today. Maybe if you had mentioned it earlier, we would have gotten a place together and reduce the holes in the pockets. #LagosRentIsCrazy #SecondonlytoAbuja #Keepingthefaith |

prelinctus: Sure, there was no question directly specified to "work experience" but the interview questions required one to give instances/experiences gained in different situations/events that occurred preferrably two years ago to present. Now, considering that everybody finished nysc not later than 2013, if one has been unemployed since then, I ask again, how would any such person scale through the interview stage? And bdw, even though it's a Graduate Trainee position, NLNG wouldn't want someone that's been idle that long. Just to clarify. Between 2013 and now, I have been employed - Twice actually. And I mean gainfully employed, bought a nice car, wore suit daily, lived in my own apartment, and whatever other thing employed dudes do. So there's a lot of experience. At the moment, I am not employed. This situation is not even a year old. I still try to get busy with other non-work things. Depending on what ur mindset is, the situation is better or worse than you think. Whatever! When is this list coming out? |

Mehn, this thing looks like they reversed the positions. Jeff 1st? Instead of 6th Pearl 2nd? 5th would have been more believable Anderson 3rd? 4th sounds better Ada 4th? I/O 3rd Deinde 5th? I/O 2nd Arewa 6th? I/O 1st
My humble opinion oh!
Jeff winning is a very BIG surprise. |

Even people supporting other contestants secretly thinks and know Arewa would win it,if she doesn't who will? She is the most outstanding contestant this season, everyone knows that fact too,so she would definately win. Someone should quote me when she does! Sorry, she didn't. |

phrezzz: deinde top4? i seriously doubt. Ada/Anderson/Arewa/Jeff U r d only one who thinks Ada will win. Maybe because of body build, u r confusing her with Arewa. As at today, I expect the following : 1. Arewa to win 2. Pearl to be 6th Maybe Jeff as 5th. He already has Pearl as his reward . The rest can scramble 2nd - 4th, depending on votes. |

Some people have just not been lucky, not because of their ineptitude. NLNG might just be the Bull's eye! Hmmm... it's a long story. The short of it is that I was gainfully employed before. But I'm not at the moment. NLNG is my bull's eye. The alternative of which I refuse to think about. |

spacyzuma: This is why I shouldn't have used the word "series", as it implies using regular mathematical operations to find the answer.
His complete answer was 31, 37, 41, 47, 51, 57...meaning he used the differences: 6, 4, 6, 4, 6. That can be seen as an answer.
If he had used 6,4,2,0,-2...the answer would have been 31, 37, 41,43,43,41.
However, the numbers I posted are all prime numbers, so the correct answer is 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53 as written by incredu. You can't calculate the remaining numbers using regular math operations. It's actually a complex question with several answers. Flawed question actually. I chose to recognize the uniqueness of the numbers themselves. Another chose different! |

gengen118: Hello anonymous, u r welcome, it's a free forum for all, free entry and free exit, indeed a perfect competition for fans of the contestants( lol) . So feel free to mention whom u feel deserves it. We fans are all biased when it comes to our favorites. Truth be told they have their strength and weakness. For example Anderson's voice is far far better than dehinde'a but it terms of performance and stage presence I will give it to dehinde. The girls r another example for me I think pearl has got the purest voice among the ladies but interms of performance and stage presence Ada / Arewa takes it. True talk! |
