We thank God o but BH no easy o.... Made me think I was in labor and went to see my doctor today . Her response was not soothing at all.... Was telling me that the BH will keep increasing till I give birth undecided

Mama's good morning all. Am feeling very very down. I went for scan and it was discovered I have fibroid(i actually know about it) but d realisation that it might hurt my fetus is depressing. The scan showed a gestational sac with poor visibility. I am about 5weeks to 6weeks gone. Though am yet to get a full report but I have been so worried. Please put me in ur prayers o mama's... God that did it for me after a long wait should see me thru. Who else has experienced fibroids with pregnancy? Am so sad

Please don't be sad... God will see us through. We all have our own fear grin

we just have to keep praying. Tell God what you want with sincerity and he will see you through.... I know it's very common and possible to have fibroid together with pregnancy.many mamas here have testify to that with their Birth story and it's all ended well... Yours too will end well. Doing scan early in pregnancy is so scary sometimes. I did mine around the 6weeks mark too and I read in the report that there is free fluid in the pouch if Douglas which could mean PID. I asked my doctor and he told me its common that it's just from d left over of ovulation though it could also mean PID. Well, since I always cramp with fluid and streak of blood anytime am ovulating,i just kept praying and leave everything to God and here I am clocking 36weeks.i tell you, get used to fear when preg cos it never stop till you actually hold your baby in your arms. Fibroid will not stop you from holding that baby in your arms insha Allah... Stay positive cheesy

So when the baby came out he didn't cry immediately, the midwife called Paediatrician to come and beat him to cry.. He did after 1min..I just dey bed dey look, I was too pale to have any feeling..the Paediatrician now started explaining some things like, my baby has to b placed on oxygen to clear his breathing organs that he cudav been distressed when he was coming out and that's y he didn't cry immediately..he took oxygen for 2days and his breathing normalized.. He was then tested for jaundice and it was positive..I was already loosing it..the treatment for that commenced after the oxygen was removed..it was so emotional seeing him under the light every day and night..I was always weeping..me that I havent recovered from the delivery shock.. Especially becos of his weight (4.2)..I had serious tears plus i was cut(ftm)..
After another 2 days, we ran a test and the jaundice had cleared..we were discharged on Sunday and naming was yesterday. Our names are Mofetoluwa Jason Obaloluwa.
To all my remaining teamies and expectant mothers.. I wish u a safe delivery..

wowwwww " pain so intense" am getting scared already cos am a ftm too. Anyways, we thank God it all ended in praise.. Congratulations to you new mama

Nna ehn, na wa o. This one y'all are sharing MS stories, I cover my yansh and mouth with the blood of Jesus before it wee catch me. Some of us are lucky sha, I chase MS with ice block and nasco crackers. The biatch didn't come back! You could try sucking on ice cubes nauseates you. You can even make it flavoured.

In other news, rain haff fall now and I wantu do mummy and daddy things but Bros haff not come. What will person do now?

Ice block did work for me... I chew it all the time and I could only take warm water well a little bit hot and ginger tea was my friend. You are lucky yours has gone finally.... As I am now,am still nauseous with lots of saliva

I though at first cos am a twin but just found out yesterday it's a girl. Well my mother-in-law was so sure it's a girl bcoz of the way am feeling and lots of people too. I guess they are right.baby girl really messes with someone. 8-10 weeks is usually the peak so have heard and it did happen to me as I was given drip around that time due to dehydration and weakness. Safe delivery to you too

I laughed in Chinese when I see new mamas begging for ms to hit them, something that made me cry like a baby, worst of it all when I went to hospital to complain as jjc wey I be everyone there ignored me and told me to carry my load and go, I had to throw party the day it finally relief me, ms is what I can't wish my enemy during pregnancy.

Ok i think i get MS now, its been crazy for me, i can barely eat and the nausea is out of the world. I always feel lyk vomiting but it never comes, and i get mild cramps here and there. I hope im fine.

Read my previous post where I shared my view about cramps so you can relax. I got cramps too.

It's very normal and common to go off some food...that usually pass when you reach second trimester For lots of women and you will be able to eat lots of food(pls don't hold me to it as my own never pass and am in my final weeks wink

) every pregnancy is different for every woman. Fingers crossed for you

Yes mama.... It's morning sickness though why it was given that name is completely beyond me cos it's 'all day sickness ' to some people like me... It varies among women. It's usually very worst in the morning bcoz of the stomach acid as the stomach is empty but it can occur anytime of the day... I had it all the time.. Mornings,afternoons,nights it just never stopped.... I could barely eat Infact up till now food is still my problem.. So mama what you are experiencing is definitely it.... Some call it nausea... If you are lucky you might not throw up and it can just be constant urge to do so.but me I threw up everyday till 16 weeks... Like 2-3 times a day..after that it's once in a week but I have the urge everytime . I literally threw up my stomach acid and even blood...i cried everyday as I was miserable.was even given drip. It was worst for me I pray your own won't reach there.Welcome to the club called morning sickness.the joy of pregnancy grin

You are welcome.i used to pray for it to be sure I was actually pregnant. I literally begged God for it and guess what?! He answered in full blow to the extent that I was unable to take my prenatals and even eat.am a ftm too.most of us wish to experience Ms to assure us that we are really pregnant meanwhile it's not an indication thhat something is wrong with the pregnancy if we don't get it..i know a lot of mamas who never got it.. Am happy you are relieved though.

Well if there is anything I know about being pregnant it's cramps and morning sickness... I don't know if it helps but I started having menstrual cramps a week before my expected period. I was so sure it was my period but when a wave of nausea hit me on the expected day,i decided to test and it was positive. I had d cramps for more than 3 months off and on that sometimes sent me to the bathroom to check if my period has finally arrived and d pregnancy was a joke. Went to three different gynecologist and none of them seemed concerned at all as they told me its normal... It's just my body... Nothing was ever found unusual and it stopped when I was around 16-18 weeks. So here is to mamas having cramps and worried....most of the times its normal especially if you are the type that has cramps everytime your period starts.... But please always check with ur DOCTORS.

Good morning mama's. Am so happy to be here. Been ttc for about 8years now just got a confirmation dat am pregnant. Am so nervous....mixed feelings. I give all praise to God. My pregnancy app says am 6weeks today. No Ms, just on n off cramps, hope am good. Starting antenatal on Monday. Pls put me thru oo... I need all d advice I can get. First time mom at last

Congratulations mama.... Don't worry everything will be alright by God's grace... You are good to go.... MS usually starts around 8 weeks but for unlucky people like me it started d day I was so suppose to see my period and still lingers on till now only the intensity has reduced and am 35 weeks. Plz just make sure you take take things easy. Wish you a good and stress-free 9months grin

Thanks.. But plz I find it very hard to take drugs.... Have completely gone off it cos I throw up whenever I take them or they get stuck in my throat and I get heartburn ... Am only relaxed cos the scan assured me that everything is going on well.... And BH is no joke at all...e no easy oo

Yes unless there is any medical reasons why u shouldn't. Sex is safe during pregnancy unless the pregnancy is high risk

Plz I have a question to ask our medical doctors in the house.am a ftm and 35 weeks. my baby keeps flipping and changing positions and am worried coz d baby prefers d transverse or oblique lie. Should I b worried?
