Please help a FTM.

I had my first scan which shows I’m 5weeks and 4days but from my LMP I’m suppose to be 6weeks 4days.
Is this normal? What’s the cause and what can I do to correct it?

for two days now, I have been having the hard and painful tommy stuff. I don't even know how to explain it ni. on of a sudden my tommy will just go so hard and it comes with pains and discomfort, after some time, it will release on its own.

I am 36weeks already. Please I don't understand that pattern. My antenatal is tomorrow.

Good day beautiful mamas
Please I need your advice on something bothering me. By special grace of God, I am expected to have my baby in 3 months time. The issue is that I don't want my mother to come for my omugwo. I am her only daughter but she hate me so much. At first I thought it is old age but she's just 60+ and I have seen older women treating their daughter right.

The last omugwo she came I saw hell, I gave birth on Monday and she came on Thursday. I had 3rd degree tear(that type that they will stitch from a anus to vagina) I explained to her that I can't stand for long because of the pain. Meanwhile before she came, a woman from my husband place was taking care of me and she won't let me come down from bed except to eat, bath, breastfeed my baby and sleep. But when she saw my mum, she stopped coming. The woman already prepared soup and kept inside freezer on Wednesday before my mum arrived. It was that soup we ate till Sunday. On Sunday morning I asked my mum what we will eat and she told me to wait for people that are coming to visit us so I can send any of them to market and cook. Like how can I send my visitor message? So I waited for my husband and son to come back from church. I just took tea and also served her. My husband went to market and bought the things I needed to make stew. My baby was sleeping and I went inside kitchen to make stew. My mum sat down comfortably in the sitting room watching film and gisting with visitors that came to see me and my baby. I was in serious pain but I have to cook what me and everybody will eat. I served her the food after cooking and she gladly ate it. She's is neither sick or having pain anywhere.

My mother never cook anything in my house for 4 months till she left. The day I mentioned it to her. She started crying that she knows I hate her like my father. Like how? I even expected her to apologise and lie that she wasn't feeling fine that day. Among all her children, I give her more money but she always show me I am not important.

The question is, even though this is my third child, I can barely take care of child under 1 month. Apart from cooking, my mum always makes me cry by telling me some very harsh word. She will force me to drink very hot water that I can't even pour on my skin. If I refuse to drink she will get angry and start her wahala again. I don't just want her to come to my house again for my mental health. O ti su mi 😭😭

My first pregnancy I was induced at 40weeks. So, I told myself l want to fall into labour with this second pregnancy.

Due date is 5th April, from 2nd April I started eating Pineapple I woke up on 3rd April and I was having little sharp pain not sure it was contraction, I took another Pineapple at night this time I added dates. The moment I finished the Pineapple I ate like 3pcs of dates because I don't really like it. Woke up on 4th April I feel the pain much than that of yesterday. But I stayed calm I was Monitoring but nothing serious.

6pm I started counting the contractions to be 2ce in 1hr. 7:30pm went to pee and I saw stain on my pant, I had to deep finger a bit, alas brownish +reddish stuff can't explain it. I think it's a show.

Called my doctor he said why did you deep your finger their haaaa oga no vex ooo. He told me to pack my stuffs and stay with them at the hospital. Hubby was not around I had to tell my sister we should leave early, we left home around 8:39pm got to hospital around 9:45pm due to traffic. On the way the contractions has increased to 5times per hour I said to myself this is labour and i was praying. Got to hospital the doctor was outside he said "are you sure you are in labour with the way you are cat walking." He told the Nurse to check alas I was 4cm dilated.

I took my stuffs in, the Nurse gave me some injections God abeg ooo, the contractions increased couldn't sleep all through the night, 5am she came to check and I am 6cm.....she gave me another injections this time I saw heaven and came back the contractions increased and I was screaming one of the Nurses was praying for me that I will eat the fruit of my labour..I was asking God to forgive me, I held on to my sister hands she was rubbing my back I couldn't feel anything.....this contractions were like 1min apart haaaa

I told them to call the nurses to check she checked I was almost 10cm she said they should wait for like 3more contractions and bring me to the labour room the doctor was saying I'm proud of you, you can do this...I was shouting I want to poo please allow me to poo they said not now. I was wheeled to the labour room this time I'm fully dilated.

Oya push bros no gree come out, push bros is not showing any sign they cut me in 2places, then I pushed my little man came out 7:31am on 4th April weighing 3.3kg.

Goodday my peep, I'm 36 weeks 3days today, I've started contracting since 3days ago. It come in the morning for few seconds & returns in the evening which stays for few minutes, I feel like I want to pee wen it comes in the evening. My Dr. said by next week Wednesday I should come to the hospital & bring my bag IF the delivery has not come on its own. That they may try 2assistwt d delivery. She checked my cervix today( Chai that thing hurts) & said the cervix is beginning 2be open small small.
Pls what should I be doing between now & then? I've started exercising, eating dates, ewedu. Pls enlighten ur sis o biko

Birth Story

Pre-pregnancy
After I had my first baby in December 2020, I did implanon family planning because I have a plan of having the next baby after 4 years. As soon as my baby clocked 1, pressure started coming right, left and center that I had to remove the implant when my baby was 1 year 6 months thinking that before she clocked two or even two I will get pregnant. Lo and behold, pregnancy entered the next month.

First trimester
My first trimester was filled with lots and lots of drama ranging from fainting, to metallic taste, headache, incessant eating and headache. My husband tried to persuade me to resign and take care of my health but na boredom go kill me o, I resisted and continue and God so good, blessed me with understanding boss and colleagues who are ready to fill in for me anytime I can't make it to work.

Second trimester
Headache and fainting spell stopped and edema started but I still managed to go to work and do house chores that I can do when my health permitted. My boss even moved me to another department and decrease my workload, God bless her for me.

Third trimester

Edema dealt with me severely but I still managed to go to work with slippers ooo and when I entered 28 weeks back pain and tightening of the lower tummy joined my ministry with sciata. I almost gave up o but I kept on pushing knowing someday I will deliver my baby.
I kept on managing the back pains like that until last night when I noticed water trickling down my thighs till I noticed an outpour of water running down and soaking my clothes.

Delivery
I woke up my husband and told him to let's start going to the hospital. On getting to the hospital, I was checked and was that contractions has started. That was around past 11pm at night. By 1a.m, I noticed the intensity is getting more closer, and the nurses encouraged me to practice my breathing exercises. Some minutes to 4, the intensity becomes more serious and less time in between, the matron decided to check me and she realized that the baby is crowning already. I delivered him at 4:10am this morning and placenta followed immediately. The baby and I was cleaned to God be the glory, I had no tears or any complications. I was discharged by 12 noon.

I pray for all woman looking for the fruit of the womb that this time next year, it will be you and your babies. To all pregnant mother, your day of joy too shall come.
I hereby throw my boot into the lake of fire.

Pls what is this feeling - since yesterday morning I've been feeling this little menstrual cramp. The thing started yesterday morning but I felt mayb it's because of entering portholes while coming 2work that caused it because it later went away b4 noon but I've started feeling it again this afternoon. Like little cramp on my veejay.. I'm 36 weeks 1 day. This can't be contraction abi? I be jjc o. Oya my seniors wetin be this tingling feeling?

Thanks for checking us on us mama. I'm a bit worried this evening.. I just returned from seeing my Dr and she's suggesting because of the delay in fertility (7years) that maybe we should do CS to bring out the baby by week 37. So far everything has been going out so well wt me & the baby. No issues at all. Why must she suggesting that since there's no issue? Must every woman that have experienced infertility do CS?
Pls I need natural ways / things to aids natural delivery. I'm 35 weeks 4days already today. What can I do to avoid this because as far as I'm concerned there's no problem with the pregnancy except that I've waited for 7years before having it. Pls I'm worried. Thnx

Hello sabi mama's please what causes numbness and severe pains in the right hand? We are 21 weeks old.

This is my third pregnancy and my first time of experiencing this. Abeg make una answer me, cause I fine it very difficult to sleep at night, even to spoon feed myself is now a problem except, I use my left hand to eat.

I don't know why I am eager when we are just 4 months gone. With the first, I was very calm and I am surprised that I who was not interested in another child is the one who is now eager to have the baby here. It could be because I have been suspended due to headache, tiredness etc and I need to get back to my duty or just the fear of my wife's health or the fact that I have always have fears about raising children. Whatever it is, I am trusting God to continue to lead me.

I'm at hospital my BP reading is 160 /... I'm worried. 33weeks today. Initially it was 120 then this January was 140 but I was given vasoprin & has reduced to 120 since then. I don't know maybe it's I didn't sleep throughout the night&have been feeling headache, body pain & fatigue since morning. I'm really worried. Pls what can I do? I'm also asked to do glucose test (Fasting test glucose, 2 hrs post prandial & glucose hemoglobin) & redo the BP test in 2days

Infact my body is tired. I didn't sleep yesterday because on each sides I turned the baby kicks constantly & didn't allow me 2sleep at all. Infact I was wondering don't they sleep at all or is there any sleeping pill to make them sleep just like adult does( It's funny right) but as een I feel like offloading already. So so tired. Wish I'm team March
