Hello mamas, congrats to mamas that have successfully delivered and wish the incoming belleful mamas safe delivery.

Please my DW is currently in her 33weeks and 4days but this week she has been seeing this whitish mucus and it was kinda much today.

What's that mucus about sef? Is it that its preparing her for delivery? She's carrying twins and the doc said she had 3weeks left as 36weeks is the max for delivery for twins.

I was seeing this mucus too for the past few days. Like milky and watery. Besides I've been having loads of BH contractions. Google days its normal. Doctor says it's normal..
But because your wife is carrying twins, I think she needs to see doctor

Lmp is the best. Scan took me back by 1 week..doctor took me back by 1 week too...I told him he should calculate my lmp again that im 36weeks+. He later agreed...and said I'm not 35weeks. Me that I will be 37 weeks In 4 days, they are now telling me 35 weeks. That doctor too �.

I learnt if you induce for your first child all others will be via induction

Not so pls. My neighbour was induced for like 4 days for her first child before she finally gave birth. She fell into labour easily for the second child cos by time I took her to hospital she was already 8cm gone. Once induced doesn't mean always induction

Just some offline mamas saying horribly things about induction gone wrong is an inevitable CS... there is a high tendency that a baby with head down would spin many times as a result of the induction, when this happens the only alternative is CS hence if you intend to be induced, you should equally plan a CS incase...

This is so wrong!!!. Even without induction, things can lead to CS. Only God has the final say. I was induced for my first at 41weeks +6days and all went well. Infact baby was traverse till I was 38 weeks. Induction is fast and safe too. Getting induction doesn't mean automatic CS. Even normal contractions without induction can result to CS with many factors that can lead to CS. Pls dont rush for induction though because you can still go into labour before 41 weeks . The thing Is if induction fails, then next thing is CS just like if contractions stop or anything happen even without induction, the last option is CS

Today 6th we are actually 40 weeks and a day gone.
A private doctor has been preaching inducement and preferably elective CS,
Baby weighs about 3.8
STM, although my first baby was induced n delivered normal.

Thinking its way too early, how much more do you think I can still hold on before opting for inducement? Is it bad waiting till we clock 41weeks? Heard at this point, baby grows by the day, how true?

To me, if the baby is head down and everything is OK,then its not too early to do induction at 40 weeks.i never pray to reach that time. Infact if Induction is possible at 37,38 weeks, I would gladly opt for it .. and yes baby will keep on adding weight

I understand these funny cravings but pls, dont lick cement. It's not good for the body. If you can get NZU (I dont know the english name but it tastes like cement and women with pica take it), you can buy it in the market. Try not to get addicted to the nzu because many ppl I know are addicted to it.

You can also do anemia test because it could be the reason why you are having pica. Once you give birth, it will stop. It's a matter of time, mamas!

Sorry for your strong craving.
Me I crave concrete o and I lick it most times , I get fine concrete ( mixture of cement, sand and water) and lick it and the craving will reduce. The feeling and satisfaction is heavenly. I just make sure I lick small quantity unless I won't get myself, I had the same craving during my second pregnancy too but was higher than this present one.

Oh my God! I don't know how to hold it again . All I want is to lick sand. I've been craving for more than a month now and it's getting higher. Thinking of it gives me joy. I want to lick and chew finely sands found near the beach. I'm also craving to drink palm oil. I so much want to smell kerosene and petrol I love them now!. It happened during my first child too but this time is worst.

The scan I did at 31 weeks said LO is in the breech position... hoping he turns soon.

Manual didn't work for me. No matter how hard I try to pump, I even get more from hand expressing. I tried it for my first child, it didn't work and also tried it for my second child same result. I bought the manual for #1200 then,I add a fellow colleague who bought hers for #200 and it worked well for her. I guess manual doesn't work for some persons. This time around I'm going to invest in a good electric pump by God's grace

I have an electric pump that you can plug into power bank or electric source It comes with its cup. You don't have to hold it..you can be pumping and doing something else. It's a little affordable though . It's 30k

Depends on your body. Breastfeeding helps burn fat too. In a year you should almost completely back to.your normal sef

I need serious help o. I can't drink water, I can drink tea and malt, but I need water in my life. Even the ice isn't helping matters, once it gets to the stomach as liquid, the nausea begins.

What kind of thing is this? It didn't happen in my first pregnancy. I am tired of ginger too. I am 9 weeks gone, 12 weeks looks like next year. I can't wait for this phase to pass.

God I am not complaining o, I am grateful for this gift but It is just somehow.

I will register in my appropriate month as soon as I get my groove back.

In my first trimester in both my pregnancy, I couldn't really tolerate cold or iced water.....what I took then was hot water oo...even warm.water I vomit..so I took mostly hot water..after 12 weeks I switched to iced cold water till now

Especially because that malaria drug ehh, I don't know if its only me but whenever I take that drug all my system is always disorganised and maybe that's why you were told to take it with hollandia milk to ease the after effects.
I think you can still take it tomorrow.

Yours is better. Whenever I take that antimalarial drug, for 3cdats I would be breathless, nauseous, drowsy, weak ,headaches, no appetite...infact it so worst for me I thought it was only me

When that mama said labour isn't painful, did you see any mama arguing with Her? Most of us that have gone through labour before know how it is we just kept quiet. Labour is never easy but it's bearable, though its unbearable to some. Only God fit help us

See you . Mine is not even cold water...mine is ice block. I took it throughout my 9bmonthsfor my daughter, she was perfect . Im on it now for my second and am 35 weeks and everything is perfect. I cant take cold water...the water must have block or else I will vomit. News Flash!, the water on getting to stomach assume the normal body temperature so don't fret . It's medically proven

I wasn't given any injection before stitches it was after the stitching the nurse gave me injection. The stitching was painful but the main pain was after I got home. To sit down na war. Pikin dey cry, mama dey cry

@Tinudesi, we're you not giving Injections to numb the area before stitching?. Stitching without I jwctions is so painful. Its one of thevreasom I'm.planning on using private hospital. They give injection u like general
