@hero

Great you bro! you just refreshed me with this gesture. l'm ready to die with
Whitney one time!!! she's in me, l'm in her. she's really eaten deep. Just painful
she's fast eliminating herself. l respect her soooooooo much. you guys may not
believe she's part of my bedtime rotten, to me, all her songs are just GBAM! but the
number one that cool me off in bed is "when you believe".

In a point of fact, Whitney has given us her best. l pray God sees her tru as she fights hard to
brush off her negativities.

OUR OWN WHITNEY, YOU'RE NOT LEFT ALONE, WE'RE WITH YOU IN PRAYERS.
LOVE YOU DEARLY.

speaking of brushing off her negativities, withney has finally made the wise but almost too late decision to divorce that devil she calls a husband: bobby brown. with that i believe she'll bounce bad.

she's definitely da bomb! she has no comparism in the music industry. i love her music any day any time & i love her all day all the time.

Celebrities / Re: Who Is Hotter? Halle Berry Or Beyonce Knowles? by indie(f): 10:03pm On Jan 27, 2008

halle is hot, beyonce is equally hot. i still CANNOT simply understand what pple have so much against beyonce. what's the beef, pple?
is it the alleged surgery? 1 in 10 pple has had surgery in the us, even halle has had surgeries! is it her singing career? a million and one others are in the same business. is it her acting career? a billion and one others are there as well. is it her family? she isn't alone there, a lot of other pple have more doting parents,

so what exactly is the problem? i think it's because she seems to 'have it all'. she's beautiful, rich, famous, has a great family & boyfriend, multi talented. etc. so pple are always jealous of her & r not ashamed to badmouth her when ever they get the chance. sadly, some of those 'bad belles' are here on facebook.

pls guys, stop hating! celebrate good things so that good things can come to u.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Can U Get A Job With Only Oracle Certification And No Degree In Naija? by indie(f): 9:07pm On Jan 24, 2008
sad
anybody can get a job with or without a degree. but bear in mind that there are jobs and there are jobs. for most corporate organisations, if not all, a graduate will always earn higher than a school dropout. no matter how skilled and 'certified' the dropout is.

my candid advice to ur cousin is that he should try and get a degree: he could do a part-time/weekend program if he is unable to do full time.
it is better late than never. even if he does get a job now, in about 5 or 10 years time, he might become frustrated as he will still be on the same level. university dropouts don't get promoted in companies.

no matter what the "circumstances under his control" were, i believe now he should be in a better position to move ahead with his life and make the right decisions.
all the best. cheers.

Romance / Re: Ten Years Of Relationship But No Marriage by indie(f): 8:16pm On Jan 17, 2008
7/10 years in a relationship with a guy with "no feasible plans"?!!!  girl u haven't told us the real problem here. u have to get to the root of the problem: is he under some kind of curse? is he a graduate? can he read and write? is he 'physically challenged', were u betrothed to him at birth? r u older than he is, as in sugar mummy? r u somehow 'irrevocably' tied to him/or indebted to him?, etc.

if none of the above, then RUN as fast as ur legs can carry u. the guy is a leech! and he'll suck u dry!

if u still insist on sticking to with him, , suit urself. afterall jacob in the bible worked for 14 years (7 years + 7 years) for his wife. likewise, u may have just entered the 2nd phase of ur own 14 years!!!
a word is enough for the wise!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Got a degree , Got a Job? well , Welcome To Modern Slavery ! by indie(f): 9:59am On Dec 24, 2007
wham:

Lovely Post

Our environment is fast changing. Its no longer the calm and steady work environments our parents savored during their time (especially in the civil service).

What we have now are companies that are trying hard to meet up with international standards and competition benchmarks in Nigeria's harsh business conditions.

The strain of the company is passed through the employee hierarchy just like "transferred agression" in human behavior.

Who is affected? Everyone is. From the Boss to his subordinates, and back to the business. The "family" who receives an exhausted an irrational parent at the close of work is also affected, and so is the development of the "Child".

What can our generation do? If you have a good paying job, you should be gearing towards building up capital to becoming an entrepreneur. Or you should be building an investment portfolio that would work for you in later years.

We Nigerians have to find a balance between family and career.

We also should stop imbibing the "Spending, Spending" style of the Americans.

Learn from Rich Dad, Poor Dad

very well said. nice post.

Jesu!!! shocked abeg make una take am softly jo! i am a "bank fan" too. infact i'm praying for zenith to call me (has any1 bn called yet, ikorodu branch?). i was just tryn to encourage those of us who r not cut out for the banking industry to start searchn elsewhere. there's telecomm sector to explore amongst many others. bank is just 1 out of millions other jobs. the main thing is doing what u love. find a hobby and turn it into a multi-million naira (even dollar) venture. it could be designing, baking, cooking, events managements, weddn planning, etc.
pls before u guys start crucifying me again, think carefully and see the sense in what i've said.
i'm waitn to hear results. luv y'all.
Jobs/Vacancies / Bank, Bank,Bank!?! by indie(f): 8:41pm On Nov 29, 2007
landers, aren't there any other jobs out there. all i see in this forum is bank, bank, bank! the world is much bigger than the banking industry. don't be myopic/limited. yes, bank is good but there are a million better and 'best' jobs out there. be innovative. start sth on your own because u are well capable. don't wait forever 4 a bank job. there could be sth better for u out there. (selah). please take immediate action and let us know how u fared! all the best. cheers.
