I just reduced you by removing the veil of stupidity in your eyes for thinking everyone in support of Tinubu is yoruba. For the second part of your ignorant comment, you only pass for a political ignoramus if you think anyone can be president of Nigeria outside the Apc and pdp. You're obviously an ibo man because one major characteristics of you guys is that you guys are never realistic in politics. It's not a do or die affair. I just feel Tinubu is the best chance to bring power to the south against an Atiku. It's not a personal fight. |

Tinubu went too far! He has nothing to lose. Buhari has made his choice and it's not Tinubu. Let him speak his mind for future reference. This is politics not dy/dx oooo. Lol....you reminded me of differentiation. Now back to the issues, I don't think what is left of buhari's followership is enough to take anyone cross the line. If we're to get honest, Atiku actually defeated Buhari in 2019 but for some deft rigging especially in some places in the north. Buhari has lost that touch truly. If our electoral process was refined Buhari won't be president today. I'm pondering on a prophecy given by someone in 2019 and I'm beginning to get scared because the signs have started showing up. Na to find one country enter o. The unrest that will follow will be unprecedented. |

I am surprised too Tinubu has nothing to lose at this point. He has laid it bare. Nothing will change whether or not he reacted the way he did. Buhari has made his choice and it's not Tinubu. So nothing to lose really. Let him fight to finish and take a bow. The only alternative to Tinubu that will make sense is Osinbajo but I don't know if he can defeat Atiku. |

fergie001: Yes, the President is modifying Lagos-style.
Listen, let me tell you:
When the President returns, he will ask to see all the aspirants and explain his position, all the Govs will step down. He will ask to see Tinubu privately, he will make him see his position and why he has made his decision. He will ask for a Compromise or terms to assuage him (that does not involve handing over the Presidency to him), maybe he choosing a VP or other concessions. He is doing this not because he is afraid to do it his way but he respects Bola.
If he moves against the President, asides Lawan getting a vantage position, it will be seen as rebellion and there will be consequences. However, I believe Bola will take the first one and everybody will rest then head to the general election.
Buhari is more @ home with a Southern Christian for balancing, he knows he has not done so well so he intends to get this one right and leave on a high.
This is my very personal opinion. Your opinion! That's fine. The president needs to do more with his consultations. Hope everything is fine in the end. Sometimes I wish we had a genuine 3rd force. What do you think about Atiku vs Osinbajo? |

Politics › Re: My Political Analysis For 2023 Elections...my View by Indispensable85(m): 2:23pm On Jun 03, 2022 |
Godoverevery: Firstly I want to let everyone know this my opinion based on my research of politics in Nigeria since independence.
In asmuch we all want someone who going to change the fortune of this country will the elite are the major problem of this country. How many elite are card carrying members of parties in nigeria?? We can keep on shouting on social media everyday nothing will change if we don't get involved.
Let me analyse why our choice of people will not win elections yet in this country.
1: Politics in nigeria is money base......To win/lose chairmanship election of a local government you need over 50million and above depending on the state. Now imagine how much it will cost for governship/presidency
2: You need the power that be to support your candidacy to win election in nigeria
3: You have to be a grassroots person.
4: You need a party with strong structure so you have a better chance in campaigning and reach out.
All this been said....let me talk about individual who want to be the next president of nigeria.(the strong one's)
Only Atiku and tinubu tick those box highlighted.
Osinbajo and Peter obi are fantastic people to rule this country but they don't have things required currently to win.
Osinbajo is well loved but imagine him without being the VP......even in ogun state he doesn't have any influence due to the fact he isn't a politician. If he wins his case won't be different from GEJ....they will gang up against him and frustrate is tenure.
Peter obi he loved but he can't win under LP .a party without any member in house of rep, house of assembly, no state governor. Where is the structure and funds to finance the campaigns?? Let not forget the tribal angle to it.....which influential northern will he tag along to campaign for him in the north.
Either we like it or not we are left with two Atiku and Tinubu (even if tinubu doesn't win apc ticket any party he goes to he more formidable than any other person).
Atiku will only lose if the SE decide to vote obi alone.. This how the voting will go based on my view. SE -obi/atiku SW- tinubu/osinbajo SS- obi/atiku/tinubu NC- tinubu/atiku NE- tinubu/atiku NW- tinubu/atiku
This my analysis is based on what is on ground now.....in politics nothing is constant. Things change everyday and 2023 Is still a long time.
Alliance's will be formed couple with betrayals....we will see alot of moves that will shock people to there bonemarrow.
Let always remember nigeria politicians only care about there interest so is not worth fighting for any politician cause they are all the same.....thanks for reading. Dispassionate and fair |

Politics › Re: Femi Adesina: Only Wailers Are Complaining About Buhari's Successor Speech by Indispensable85(m): 2:10pm On Jun 03, 2022 |
fergie001: There will be a Primary without any rancour, don't worry. Every Nigerian want a contest in 2023. I take you back to the Statement of one of our leaders in October 2018:
“We all have to respect the Party Supremacy. You were all here when we had the Congress, we elected the new executives, we had the convention, the NEC was formed and we surrendered to avoid conflict, to avoid domination, to avoid abuses of power, we surrendered our rights, all rights to the National Working Committee headed by Adams Oshiomhole.
“That the National Working Committee should set up electoral bodies to supervise various State Congresses and elections. ‘We signed off for it’.
“So, if it is not in our individual favour, so be it. We gave three options, consensus, where there is no consensus because if you are more than two or three and you cannot agree to one candidate, you go to the next level.
“The next level is the stakeholders’ delegates (system) and you have to be supervised by the National Working Committee of the party, national election committee of the party.
“That shows party supremacy or the freest option, the less cumbersome is to open direct primary, line up and count the number, 1,2,3. If you win, you win and if you fail, go home.’’
“....Party is supreme, Party must be respected, abuses will not do it and anger will not do it. It is party politics, somebody will win and somebody will lose, too bad.’’
You know who that leader is? Lol..... Na so There's no issue provided there's a free and fair primary election. |

fergie001: indispensable85 garfield1 This is not a threat to anyone, certainly not to someone like Tinubu. Like I said before let the president pick his choice and allow those who do not agree with his choice contest against him at the eagles square. Simple! Any military approach will end the Apc reign as ruling party, that's the truth. If Tinubu is beaten in a fair contest let him go home but if otherwise scheemed out unfairly,he should team up with Atiku to send the Apc packing. |
