President Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has appointed George Abang Ekpungu as the Secretary of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The appointment is for a fresh tenure of five years.

Also appointed as Board Members of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission are Luqman Muhammad (South South), Anumba Adaeze (South East), Alhaji Kola Raheem Adesina (North Central) and Alhaji Yahya Muhammad (North East).

This appointment was in line with Section 2 (1) and Section 4 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act, 2004.

According to the statement EFCC has been operating without Board Members since 2015.
President Buhari has already directed the forwarding the names for confirmation of the Senate.

Even Nevin street was used as a test by dangote construction company to demonstrate the use of cement technology in road construction. Even the MOU signed with the company by the governor in that regard never saw the light of the day.

I've been laughing at your ignorance going through this your list of roads.
Apart from Lucky way and t.v. roads, the other roads were done by SEEFOR which is world bank funded with Edo state providing logistics. Even the t.v. road is terribly flooded whenever it rains for just 10mins because it lacks proper drainage.

As we speak,his promises to rebuild the burnt section of oba market, Santana market,usel spareparts market has been a mirage 2yrs after those promises. Even itv news revisited it last month when they went to the traders to interview them and showed the burnt sections,it was anguish,pains,disappointment and sorrow as the market women lament their abandonment by the failed emperor governor.


Very many of the SEEFOR roads have even collapsed like the one close to my family house along chrismerry road. Whenever I visit,I just laugh. Obaseki is a scam.........those shallow gutters were dug by abokis with diggers.
