Christianity Etc › Re: Those Who Lived Wayward Life In School Get Better Opportunities Than Church Goer by Indispensable85(m): 6:40pm On Jun 25, 2021 |
obembet: Dear Nairalanders, there is something that I don't really understand about life or let me say religion. I know some people may see it as luck or destiny. But if we call it destiny, then every Christian or all child of God suspose to be prosper and leave a better life than Dangote.
Because according to Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version that's says For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
But when I check those guys we call pastors and Alfa in School (University) they don't play with Church Fellowship or Mosque prayers, they get the best results, as in when it come to Education, they are very sound but most of this people end up teaching in one local private school or the other. While those Stubborn guys, that go to Club and party every night, many of them manage to get Third class but they end up in better companies, some are abroad while some are in government.
Also, those ladies that doesn't allow man to touch thier hand not to talk of hugs, infact majority of them are still virgin base on thier looks and behavior ( Not all). They always reserve thier body for thier future husband Many of those ladies too are on the street looking for husband up till now and looking old now. Even those that marry among them are still looking for the friut of the womb. But those strippers, Club girls, they hardly attend attend class and many of them even graduated with poor result get the best husband, have beautiful kids and better job.
Now my question is, why those who lived a wayward life in school get better opportunities than Church goer or those Alfa? Funny enough you're actually very correct. It's a bitter truth. But the reason it's so in Nigeria is because the system has been bastardized. So because we don't have a working system, the same so called wayward guys will always look for a way to compromise and beat the system to get what they want. But the religious ones see it as a sin against their Faith to partake in such compromise hence remaining stuck for a long time in a spot. The wayward guys see nothing wrong in paying for slots and sleeping with anybody for jobs but the religious guys would find it difficult to involve in such corrupt and immoral practices so they're stagnated or manage anything to feed themselves. However, in a sane clime where system works, the system has a way of rewarding the responsible, diligent and hardworking guys while the gadabouts keep playing catch up because it's gabbage in gabbage out. I don't think it has anything to do with religion though because irrespective of your religious inclinations, you always get what you deserve in a working system. I think it's more of a system failure than religious persuasion. However, even in this terrible, corrupt and failed system of Nigeria God is still proving himself in the lives of his people. The word of God remains true and immutable. May God help us all. |

Politics › Re: Soludo, Okwuosa, Ubah: Who Is The Next Governor Of Anambra State? by Indispensable85(m): 12:56pm On Jun 25, 2021 |
AmadiAba: As Anambrarians countdown to the 2021 gubernatorial elections slated for November 6, speculation continues to swirl around who will be the state's next governor. Party primaries have already begun to disclose the candidates that will progress to the next stage - the general election. This, IGBERE TV observed, has heightened tensions and fuelled speculation that the real battle lies between Azuka Okwuosa, Chukwuma Soludo and Andy Ubah.
The 26th of June will be a watershed moment for Anambrarians, particularly APC supporters, when they cast their votes to determine who would lead the party to a likely victory in November. Following the announcement of Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo as the winner of the APGA primary election, the APC is anticipated to push for an excellent candidate that can win over a wider majority of the electorate.
Given the party's abundance of talented contenders, internal party sentiment suggests that selecting a candidate will not be so easy. However, the stronger contest exists between Hon Azuka Okwuosa and Sen Andy Ubah. Both candidates have claimed a sizeable portion of the party’s membership, and the question of who would emerge victorious in the party primary elections would linger till the statistics is given the centre stage.
Given the APC's current posture in Anambra, the party's stakeholders are likely to make the most logical decision of selecting a candidate who best suits the current scenario. The party is currently battling to restore voter acceptance in Anambra, a river Okwuosa is managing to effectively navigate with much success.
Even more, expert political observers, who spoke with IGBERE TV have rated the success prospect of Hon Azuka Okwuosa in the general elections higher than that of Sen Andy Ubah.
Sen Andy Ubah’s string of financial and educational scandals could sway voters back into the ever receiving arms of APGA’s Soludo. The recent claims levelled against him by the management and staff of Heritage Bank PLC is fresh in the minds of the public, and could easily derail his chances of defeating other parties.
On the other hand, Okwuosa's impressive resume and spotless record would shine a bright light on the APC, as he has done since the start of his campaign. His pragmatic approach to public policy puts him ahead of Prof Soludo, who is known for enacting policies based on theories that may or may not stand up in practice. Despite the fact that Soludo is well-traveled and educated, Hon Azuka is more indigenous and relatable to the common Anambra man.
In the end, the onus is on the electorate to decide who the next governor will be. The analysis and speculations are merely a guide to the likely outcome of the governorship elections in Anambra. Until then, the issue of “who will be the next Governor of Anambra State?” will persist.
https://igberetvnews.com/1393916/soludo-okwuosa-ubah-whos-next-gorvernor-anambra-state/ I expect Soludo to win this one. |

fergie001: The Court voided the elected delegates they had.
So, they had to go with automatic delegates (same as statutory delegates).
The Court cannot void that because it is the internal workings of a Party and is non-justiceable.
The problem they will have will be when they bring in someone that isn't an automatic delegate. So they will have to vet and vet again. Chaiii...... automatic delegates are usually few. It may not be representative enough but it's the only way out. I wish them well but I'm rooting for Soludo. |

fergie001: That's the only thing for them to do for now.
After the Primaries, the next step they will likely take is to constitute a Caretaker Committee across board...State, LGA & Ward.
It is an election year, money to organise a State Convention will be used to run election especially as they aren't the ruling Party in the State. Honestly I sympathize with them. It's a really tight corner but I'm not sure this will come without more troubles. This automatic delegates is somehow. Will INEC even accept? I don't know. What I'm used to from the PDP primary is elected and statutory delegates. Maybe concensus would've been better. |

APGA's problem is not really about the court issue with their party. It's about the fact that section 85 of the electoral act was not followed in their nomination process. |

What haven't we seen in this Buhari regime? Once a person's documents are correct,it's not the business of the immigration to ask why are you traveling. Immigration is not the embassy that issued the travel documents. It's the job of the embassy of the country to ask why you're traveling to their country. The foolishness of Buhari has spread to everywhere in Nigeria. Nigerians should go and board in Benin republic. Many of my friends travelled via cotonou. Very organized! |

Oga you're a failure. There can never be any justifiable reason for not having a cabinet for 7months. You've broken the record of the incompetent Buhari. INFACT buhari is better than you because he had the entire country to pick from but you just have small Edo state with 18lga to pick from. You're still going to eventually pick from the usual politicians we know in Edo state. Buhari wasted 6months and still came up with the usual political class we all know and nothing still came out of it. Nonsense!
Your predecessor didn't spend 7months to set up his cabinet and has done far better than you from what's on ground thus far. We go see whether na America u wan go bring commissioners from.
The open secret about your delay to form your cabinet is majorly the crisis going on in your party between the new Pdp and the old Pdp.
You've got less than 3yrs to redeem yourself. Nothing much on ground to be frank.
