I need to make one slight correction. Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye does not own a private jet. His only connection to a private jet is that some businessmen who are members of the church bought a jet for a charter service and made a caveat that the Pastor can use the jet at any time he wishes to do so and that they will cancel any arrangement once the Pastor indicates any interest he should be given over riding priority. You will believe that this does not mean ownership of a private jet. RCCG took out time and space to clarify this when the story of his ownership of a private jet became public. People should learn how to let somethings be unless they prefer to believe a lie rather than the truth. This does not mean that RCCG cannot afford a private jet if they determine a need for it but now there is nothing like that. |
My phone is locked due to company policy but my partner has the unlock code and that is how it should be in a real situation. where the man locks his phone then something is not right. |
Let me just remind Fashola that that was how Hitler's hatred for the Jews started in Germany that ultimately led to the death of over six million Jews in the hands of the Germans. Profiling Nigerians under what evr guise is totally illegal and Fashola as a lawyer knows this. He is saying that anybody who is not able or fit should not live in Nigeria or that anybody who is unemployed should not live in Lagos. There is no argument that can make the deportation of NIgerians in Lagos justifiable. One can imagine what can happen if a man like Fashola is given a state POlice. He will use the resources of the state contributed by so called indegenes to arm his police force and probably levy war against the federation if he feels like it, after all in some cases wars are caused by the large egos of men. Fashola should retrace his steps and i wonder why the human rights community is ignoring this unconstututionality of a Governor who claims to belive in the rule of law. I am trully amzed at the travesty. |
This Iranian should perish the thought of wiping Isreal off the map, what map when their father owns the entire estate called the world, even unbelievers believe on account of the history of Isreal. I wish the Iranian President in his quest to wipe Isreal off the map. |
MORE LIKE NATIONAL MEDIA JAMBOREE. I AM SURE THAT LARAN MAKU WOULD HAVE CRITICISED THIS WHEN PROFESSOR JERRY GANA ORGANIZED SAME IN HIS DAYS AS MINISTER. ITS A SHAME THAT AN INTELLIGENT MAN LIKE MAKU SHOULD GO THIS SAME CORRUPTION RIDDEN ROUTE IN A COUNTRY STRUGGLING IN EVERY AREA OF HUMAN ENDEAVOUR. |
The talk about status is unnecessary. You should rather concentrate on empowering yourself by engaging in a business to generate more income after which you can now buy a car of your choice rather than talking about buying a car to enhance your status. when the chips are down, you will be the one battling with the maintenance of the car and keeping up with running your home and this has nothing to do with status. Usually status exists in the mind of people. Do not live your life trying to impress anybody since in the long run you are left alone to run your life. |
The mere fact that they lived in a rented apartment puts paid to all the lies about inheriting any property, what property would that be. the truth will always outshine lies. |
I will miss Mr. Badamosi but he forgot that as long as he remained in the employ of the station he would take orders from Mr. Momoh who is the sole proprietor and Channels is not like CNN. I wish him luck whereever he finds himself. Refusing to return the tape of the story when a demand was made was insurbodination and i am sure that if he were in Mr. Momoh's shoes he would not take an act of insurbodination from a staff no matter how good. He was good but Channel gave him the platform to show his skills. I am happy that he reconized. I would have preferred that he left in more pleasant circumstances. |

Pastor Chris is an ordained Minister of the gospel and let no man get in the way as he stands or falls before his master who commissioned him. i just needed to learn one wrong impression. Rev Chris may have read law at the University of Nigeria Nsukka and went to the NIgerian Law School and then called to the Nigerian bar but that is where it ends. He has never argued any case before any court in Nigeria so he is not a lawyer in the true meaning of the word but a Minister of the gospel. |
Let me correct one grace error in this thread. There is no culture in RCCG for the GO to retire at 70 years. Daddy G.O. is the second General Overseer. Th founder of the Church Pa Akindayomi died before Pastor Adeboye became the GO. That position is for life and so any attempt to terminate the occupant of the position will surely fail. |
This is a beautiful story as far as fiction can go. someone in nollywood should contact Empress Njaman or any of her bbrothers and a film would be made of this with Genevieve taking the lead role. This man is such a wonderful man that he would easily win the best man award. This is what christianity should be and not Bible quoting but wicked at heart. |
i am addicted to gadgets of all types including toys, i have four types of very smart phones, bb, iphone, nokia and chineese Techno, Psp, 3D Nitendo. i am addicted to electronics, and then gollywood etc. |
This is not new. The state ruled by the Ogbeni, did so months back. States and even local councils can adopt flags and anthems, its just like the anthems of schools and colleges> it does not mean a declaration of independence and i am sure such state governments do not see themselves as Heads of government, forget the Okorocha gaffe in Ukrian where he spoke in Igbo in response to an address by the President of Ukrain. Okorocha's gaffe was due to ignorance and illiteracy. Flying a state flag and singing an anthem at state functions is not a statement of independence. When i hear that Ogoni has declared independence, i ask, HOW. |
This statement by the man of God shouldnt cause quarrel in Nairaland. The question to ask is - who is a rich man and who is a poor man. By the time GEK became President he could not be described as a poor man. The determination of who is rich and who is poor is so important because one man may have money and be very poor. To an ordinary mind Bakare was referring to cash but i disagree because if you have listened to him for a long time now you will realize that his definition of rich rises above possession of money. To be rich is more than that and how one sees himself is more important that his financial status so if GEJ still sees himself as shoeless, then he is indeed poor because he has refused to rise mentally above a station he once occupied in life. Bakare tell a story of facing challenges but over the years he has risen above that and one will be making a mistake to call him poor. I hope i have cleared the air a little |
This is how men of honour should act. i have great respect for Hon Gbajiamiala. This is straight forward explanation without beating about the bush. Let the traducers also ask Mr. President declare his assets publicly just as President Yaradua did. He must walk the talk if he wants us to take him seriously, its as simple as that. |
Guys, rather than tear our shirts over what Pastor Bakare has said, let us wait and see. Its a matter of time before it comes to pass or not. There is no guarantee that even the Pastor will be there by then because only the almighty God is supreme and knows all things. Whether we like it or not the will of God must pass. |
The Gentleman cannot be serious, with two phone lines and yet he cannot do something but hawk his certificates on the streets. With a Masters degree and a diploma. Even Isaac Newton didnt have that. He should get serious. Let him find a good church, He can start by washing cars while people listened to messages. Every sunday he would make good money until he realizes enough to start something more serious |
It is said that the man who wears the shoe knows why it pinches him. The NCC Chair will know the facts since he sits on top of the commission that monitors the Telcos. Before we condenm MTN, let us remember that it has over 40 million subscribers and that with crafty management the company stays on top of the game and it has presence in all parts of the country more than all the other Telcos. This may be why the compnay is the only one that is viable. It is however strange that the NCC will impose such heavy fines on the telcos even when they know the Telcos are not making all that much money. I beliieve that the NCC should do all to keep them here especially when yuo consider the level of employment generated by the Telcos.what MTN needs is commendation rather than condemnation. |
i need someone to assist. The light that normally shows on the keypad of my Nokia E90 isnt showing anymore. i also need to know the default security number of the phone. we have tried 0000 and 1234 but that didnt work. anybody who has an E7 for sale should contact me asap |
The Bible says 'pray without ceasing' so believers can pray about everything. It is however important that we understand whay prayer is- it is a two way conversation withe the almighty so if i choose to ask God if i should step out of the house, it should not be anybody's problem. There are people who depend solely on the holy spirit and by extention God for everything including where to eat and what to eat. Prayer depends on the individual and its a personal thing. Some of the people making noise inside an enclosure called a church or mosque may not be praying |
@2good thanks for pointing me to the rankings which i also saw or myself yesterday but did you see Johns Hopkins in the ranking. Its not there and this is because its the best hospital in the USA and i daresay the world and like i said its the number in training of mdical doctors and allied sciences. It has produced more noble laureates than any institution in the same class world wide but that is beside the point. it was an aside. The point i made are two folds- that i couldnt find an independent source for the emmenuel story outside NIgerian bloggers and that if its medicine, Yale does not rank higher than Johns Hopkins in the training of medical doctors. |
Just one question. IF this was not scripted why the video Cameraman capturing the 'act' for posterity. Governor likes clowning and this is one of his acts. As long as he continues to run a one man show in the name of adminsitration i will not take him seriously. The people of Imo are crying out for deliverance for a man who has no respect for the rule of law. |
Somthing does not sound right here. Why would he be leaving JOhns Hopkins Univeristy which is the world's numero uno in medical training and science to Yale. Ths is just an observation. You would not finish in Unilag and bag a scholarship to study in Lasu (apologies to Lasuites) |
i dont need an Okonjo Iweala to tell me that hard times are here. Have you seen how oil prices have been tumbling down. Very soon it will get to the level as to rubbish all the calculations that went into this year's budget. The Vice Chancellor of UNijankara, uncle Dele Sobowale laid it all out in his column in the Sunday Vanguard. Its a prophesy that those who claim to be leaders should be mindful of and i am suprised that Dr Okonjo is just talking about it now. There is fire on the mountain for an economy like ours that is heavily dependent on oil. Very soon there would be nothing left to steal and when the economic depression becomes too hard to bear, one foolish soldier will shove away these gang of robbers and then carry the can of a mismanaged economy and then start the process of pretending to democratize the polity all over again. I wonder, i just wonder. |
Ladies and Gentlemen. We ,ay never know the real truth in this matter as we were not there when the deal was cut. All we are doing here is guesswork using our senses as NIgerians. For me Farouk Lawan forget that when dinning with the devil, one needs a very long spoon, he also forgot that a man like Otedola wont be easy meat as he is not an alaba trader. No one makes the kind of money Otedola has made without street smartness. My predication is that nothing will come out of this whole thing. At worst Farouk would be damaged politically and lose his relevance in the House of 'Representathieves' while life continues for Otedola. Let us not forget that Otedola is a power broker. He was in the team that persuaded OBJ to drop Dr Odili for GEJ who is today Predicament. He is an Aso Rock wheeler Dealer in the likes of Dangote and James Ibori before his incaceration in a London Prison. There is more than are seeing. Ask yourself, where is Tony Elumelu and the power probe. This too shall pass away. |
