FashionRe: Fallacy About Acne(pimples) by InkedNerd(f):

I have been using Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 15 for about a year now,but there hasn't been much change then last week the flare ups started and I'm now using Dr Miracles's Acne system cleanser, toner & moisturizer.
I saw your article yesterday and I thought to myself I'm never going to stop looking for a remedy until I get my flawless skin back lol
Is Dr. Miracle's working for you? How about the Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF?

Freesia:
Oh Lawd help me !! Inked_Nerd you don't say !!which of the two helps with scars? Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap or Medimax?
Both of them help to remove acne scars. Both Chandrika and Medimix work well for that. The difference between the two is, the Chandrika [the one in the picture I posted earlier] is made up of 7 essential oils while the Medimix is made up of 18 different herbs that help when it comes to skin care. The Chandrika smells great but the Medimix works better. When I used it, I wash my face with either soaps [usually Medimix], then I apply almond oil to my face. If I run out of almond oil, I grab a vitamin E capsule and apply the contents of the vitamin E capsule onto my face. Both the almond oil and the vitamin E help to reduce and eliminate acne scars. I recently came across another ayurvedic soap called Jeeva. I've never heard of it nor have I used it but I'm looking forward to buying and trying it next time I go to the Indian store I shop at. If I can find Jeeva in the Indians shops, I'll try it and give you the low down on the soap and whether or not its good. So far, from what I've learned about it, its is made up of 27 rare herbs!!! shocked. The Medimix already works wonders, so I can't wait to try try Jeeva. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bit obsessed with natural skin and body care grin. I just love finding new natural ways to take care of my body.

This is what the Jeeva soap looks like

You my kind of girl, my gf waits for me to pay every time we go out to the movies, and the yeye girl always gets those expensive $8.00 popcorn for crying out loud.
Nope, sorry babe. We either slit the price or we alternate on who pays. If the dude doesn't mind paying then I'm good with it but I will always offer to split or help out in some manner.

@inked-nerd, I trust you. You be big girl!
Girls should learn to take themselves out on a treat onces a while. It will really help them to control the tempo when on a date. No be say na until when man carry you go out before you know as kfc chicken dey taste and the new price for rice at tfc.
Wait a minute, you guys have rice at KFC there? Chineke!!! shocked.

Anyway, on a serious note, I don't like the idea of thinking that a man should pay for everything. If its the first date and the dude was the one who initiated the date then that's fine but anything other than that, the two should either alternate or split the bill. The thought of a guy paying for everything for me on a date doesn't sit too well for me. I've been on dates were I've paid he guy and its not an issue for me.

@mygoldie, na you make you go sleep. Na my thread be this.
Lmao, that's a load of crap. You act like all girls are like this. Personally, I buy my own stuff if I'm out with a dude. I don't need all that fakes a** stuff for a dude to impress me tongue.

RomanceRe: Open Relationships by InkedNerd(f): 11:53pm On Dec 17, 2010
@OP: I wouldn't mind being in an open relationship. For individuals to be in an open relationship they need to have an open line of communication which a lot of people seem to lack even with monogamous relationships. A person shouldn't get involved in an open relationship if they know they can't handle the thought of their significant other being with someone else in a sexual or romantic manner or if they cannot be honest with each other. Personally, I'm pretty open to the idea and ave no problem wanting to initiate that sort of relationship. The one thing that would put me off in an open relationship [or any other form of relationship] is lying and dishonesty.
HealthRe: Hot Or Cold Water, Which Is Better To Bath With by InkedNerd(f): 11:15pm On Dec 17, 2010
If you don't wanna use hot or cold water, then warm water should be fine. I personally use hot water whether its cold or not. And yes, I have heard that hot water wrinkles the skin. Hot water tends to open the pores of the skin, while cold water closed the pores. A way you can try to improve or increase the amount of moisture absorbing into your skin would be to apply a moisturizer [i.e. body lotion/cream, body oil, or body butter] while the skin is semi-wet. When I bathe for example, I never towel off. What I do is apply body oil or shea butter to my skin while my skin is completely wet. As you skin dries, it absorbs the moisture of the oil and shea butter as it is absorbing the water. I use a totally different method on my face though.
