Idowuogbo: inky no i jus wanna borrow nkita to settle some scores hehehe , d igbo hearing dog would do it 4 me wen i wanna finish d germans lol, ok o. Make I borrow am when you finish.
excanny: I thought you knew, ChinenyeN. A bu nwafor ngwa. My Igbo is average though. My old folks did a not-too-good job on me.
@Chukwudi01
The translations i gave were Ngwa variants. I guessed you should be speaking a southern Igbo dialect(Imo and Abia) from the examples you gave yourself which i felt would be closer to my dialect. Excanny, sorry I don't want to seem nosy but I was wondering, do you live in Nigeria? If so, what part? |

Freesia: @ Inked_Nerd Hey Inked Nerd Thanks for that info I will be looking for that soap in the indian shops here in the UK.My acne is now mild but I do get flare ups now and again the worst thing is the blackheads it leaves behind. I have been looking for a moisturizer that could help diminish the marks but everything I see has harsh chemicals on it so I wont risk touching that stuff in case the acne stops hibernating and comes back in full force No problem. What type of moisturizers have you / do you currently use? By the way, the soap can help to diminish acne scars.
Timi1990: @inked_nerd thanks 4 your support all this while. But i'll like to ask you if you know any website that sell men shirt at lower price. Although i know of ebay & Amazon, bt i'll like to know abt other that their shipping rate is more cheaper. Most of the Big store here in lagos even sell fake, i'll love 2 hear 4rm u soon. Thanks No problem. I've never shopped on Ebay before and the only thing I've bought from Amazon is a book so buying clothes online is something I'm not too familiar with but I managed to find some sites that see clothes. Perhaps you could try http://www.ubid.com/ or http://www.buy.com/ |

Fetch-Ga weta
Shake hand-Naka
*My spellings are not 100% correct, I hope you get the gist* I'm good. Glad to see that all is well with you. I don't have a dog, but one of my uncles has one and it understands Igbo.
ChinenyeN: Excanny, where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? Good question, I'm curious to know as well .
@everyone: Oya, make we join money to pay for Igbo lessons for nkita

Ummm, I'll go with geek for 200 Regis .
Reason being: I like being able to enrage a man in an intelligent conversation the geek. If I have a dude who's just eye candy then all he's good for is just to look at. If I have a dude who's a player, then most likely, he may end up playin' me [and I wouldn't want that]. |

When you are doing something you know is wrong and put my children in harms ways, there is no way I'd stand by your side. Ride or die my a** [no offense]
thweraja10: Hmmmmmmm thats true sha. but majority wont report Oh really? And what proof do you have to say that 'majority' would? The reason I said some as opposed to majority is because there just is no way to prove that. I highly doubt that you've spoken to every woman on earth about this issue for you to have said majority.

kokoye: OK.
but a lot of stay- at- home wives are stuck in this situation.
My point is ratting their husband out is the right thing to do but it sure wont be easy . .especially when there's no assistance from the government. Yes, of course it isn't easy. I totally understood where you were going with your comment.
HTown Eve: Ink _Nerd, I have declared you as my nairaland sistah. LOL. lol, eh ya
thweraja10: As far as money is coming out, ladies wont report. Never Says who? Just because you know of some women who may not report it doesn't mean that all or most will follow suit.

kokoye: OK. according the the poster, this is your spouse.
It is the right thing to do but it aiint that easy - what happens to your children and/or bills . . especially in Africa ??
Most wives in this situation are the stay at home types I have no intention on being a stay at home mom if/when I have children. Its situations like these that have made my father instill ideas of female independence in me. I wasn't raised to be a woman who is at the mercy of a man. |

@OP: Yes, I would. Especially if it is something that will be detrimental to the livelihood of our children [if we have any]. There have been situations where some husbands have gotten involved with the wrong sort of people and unfortunately a relative ends up suffering in various form [e.g. death, injury, kidnapping, etc.] |
