Nairaland GeneralRe: The "basterdization" Of NIGERIAN Language. (Title Edited) by InkedNerd(f): 9:33am On Dec 20, 2010
Well, it seems others do not see what is wrong with the current state of our languages, or they just don't care. Perhaps, the OP should change the title to "The Bastardization of Nigerian Languages."  I don't know if all I had written are true in the case of other Nigerian languages, but I think it is safe to assume that most other languages share that predicament.
No, you are very correct in this deduction. Even within the Igbo language, the same thing is happening. I remember watching a video online and realized that that Igbo is one of the languages on Earth that is on the verge  of extinction.

The OP is right. I totally agree with him. There are a slew of nonsense threads that are posted each day. I don't think that you all should be so quick to pelt him with insults. He has made a valid point. When I first joined Nairaland I stupidly thought I would see some serious relationship issues being discussed here [not to say that all posts are meaningless] but I was sorely mistaken. I know that some people come here to relax and unwind but c'mon people lets admit, some of the things here are both mind boggling and just plain sad. I'm not saying we should all be super serious its just that at times, I can't help but shake my head.

Thats why women should squat when they go to the public toilets. Even your friend's house or families house, anywhere that you can not vouch for the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

As for what people deduced from the story. yeast infection, Coliform SPP and staph,  these are not sexually transmitted infections.
Contrary to popular belief its quite hard to get a yeast infection from sitting on a toilet seat no matter how dirty it is. You can get a yeast infection from using scented/perfumed toilet paper and if you don't wipe properly. There are a slew of other ways of getting a yeast infection.

Firstly . . .Toilet Infection occurs and nobody shoould stand against that! . . .My girl gets infected sometimes when using strangers ' or dirty toilets . . .But the only fact here is that it doesn't transmit!
Secondly . . . .The guy is not serious at all,Just bcs of that lil mistake? ,  .  . . .  .Tell the girl to move on her life!
A yeast infection can be transmitted from guy to girl and vise versa. Many people are under the impression that only women get g.enital yeast infections but it is untrue.
FamilyRe: Sweet Mama/grandma, I Non Wow Forget You. by InkedNerd(f): 8:45am On Dec 20, 2010
This thread is making me cry. I was with a guy who's mother passed away when he was young and at times I wonder what he feels when holidays roll by, especially Mother's Day. When he talks about his mom, I just wanna hold him in my arms because although she passed away when he was young, I can tell it still hurts him cry  cry.

I love both my grandmother and my mother cry.

@OP: I think sex should be the least of your worries. You seem to have a drug problem. You need and should take care of that before you even think of sex.

Hmmm, this quite odd. He's probably suffering from an Oedipus complex. There was a story I saw on "20/20" earlier in the year and apparently this sort of behavior is quite common among mothers who have given up their sons for adoption and later reunite with them--but I've never heard of this behavior among mothers of women who have given their sons up for adoption.

Well said my dear. You deserve a standing ovation for this. I remember being in Nigeria when I was younger and I used to see people just walking by while other were in pain and I was quite disturbed and baffled by their lack of empathy or acknowledgment of these people. Its sickening. Nigerians really needs to reform their way of thinking when it comes to how we treat the disabled and mentally ill.

but do people actually get yeast infections from a toilet? i thought its wearing that skin tight jeans that causes that at least one of the reasons
I think the reason they probably refer to it as a toilet infection is because in some cases you can get a yeast infection using scented/perfumed toilet paper. Oh and also, if a person doesn't wipe themselves properly.
