I am a 20 year old female born and bred in England. Both of my parents are nigerian and came from nigeria about over 20 years ago. I love England and I couldn't call any other place home but I feel so disconnected from my culture. I don't know my own language (edo). My parent never taught me. I know how to cook Nigerian food a bit and i have limited knowledge of music, history and some aspects of culture. I feel terrible that I am not  more connected to my culture and it really frustrates me that im not more connected. Anyway im asking for suggestions about how I could become more connected yo my culture especially language. If some one could point me in the direction for resources to learn edo it would be really appreciated

P.S- Ive heard all the B.S about your a disgrace to your culture blah blah, how come you dont know your language blah blah your more white than black blah blah. If your here to mouth off please just direct that crap somewhere else  im only going to be reading the helpful comments.
