Did my interview on 31st August, 2017

Since that day it has been from one place to another but has God will have his way he proved himself today.
Had issues with the black uniformed men that very morning.
Naso dem check all my pali ooooo, chaiii but dem later free me shaaa and even describe how I go take reach embassy (for my mind I dey look dem say dem be think say I be jjc).

Got to the embassy with my document intact though,
Cubicle 1. 10:00am appointment but was already in before that time.
1. Where are you going and what course
2. Why Germany?
3. Why not usa , uk or any other English speaking country
4. Why the course
5. What will you do after your studies ( Are you going to stay OR come back home)
6. How many semesters?
7. What is the course structure
8. List the courses from 1st to 4th
9. Who is your sponsor
10. What does he do?
11. Where does he work?
12. Do you speak German
13. What do you know about Germany
14. Do you know anyone in Germany
15. Mention the states in Germany
16. What is the population of Bavaria
17. What is the population of Germany
18. What really interest you about Germany


I later picked up the phone, which was as well followed by oral interview;
19: what do you know about Germany; Told her the little I know, the president, the chancellor, their party, the population as at 2017 and the population as at last year December 2016
20: Tell me about your intended state: Told her the little I know, the weather, the culture, the wine, the governor of the state, the mayor of city, population of the city, location of the city, the neighbouring states.
21: Mention the countries that bothered Germany: Stated all the 9 countries and each of their capitals, From there, mentioned the 16 states followed by each of their capitals as well.

Here, she said I can see you know a lot, we will contact you.

Interview: 31st August
Sent in sponsorship letter: 6th of October
A.M drops just like manna from heaven 27th of October

When I was talking about buying your ticket directly from airlines and forgetting about agents some pages back you guys won't listen. smh
I bought a one way ticket
I just told customer service I have a student visa and won't be returning in a while unless they have a return ticket for 10yrs , the man laughed. He was like are you sure you have a student visa and I said yes he didn't even ask to see my passport or visa and he just gave me my flight ticket after doing the money transfer of course.

So sorry to hear about the 9 schools. Hence, which course do you really have in mind. I think you can take it up from there. If you have a desired course, why not say it then the house can as well help you search before you loose your mind.

Moreso, daad.de or Mastersportal could as well be used.

Please gurus in the house any idea about the amount Fedex, Dhl or any major courier company ship in documents from Germany to Nigeria

The essence of my post is for people who have gotten A.M mails to just use the reservation as indication of date of travel and submit to embassy with their passport so that embassy go release your Visa sharp sharp. Then they can relax and buy ticket when they like.
It was the method i used and there are other methods though...

What I did was submit my passport, travel insurance + photocopy, printout of the a.m mail and a printout of my booking ticket from Turkish airlines(as indication of date of travel)... Hope it helps and Congrats.

I'm glad you noticed too and I totally agree with you that no one is above errors. As you can see, I tried my best to not point accusing fingers at, or correct anyone's written grammar cos the last time I did, some peeps were all up in their feelings. I was only talking in general terms this time around and only corrected someone who erroneously believed Germans can't speak good English.

The same people who type on this forum and others of its ilk, eventually move to other countries and end up being the image makers and flag bearers of our country and like it or not, influence the kind of opinions people have about us as a collective.

I do understand your view. May the Lord help us all.

It isn't, if you, however, don't see a problem in the fact that a University graduate who has studied in a certain language all his life cannot put up a post in the said language without glaring, elementary errors EVERY time then the point of this whole convo is moot, D.O.A.

Actually, it's not as if I didn't notice it, but I only want us to know that nobody is above mistake. It is not a bad idea to correct one if mistakes occur, nevertheless we should try to do this in a way it will not lead to insult from both parties.

More so, android phones can be funny sometimes when typing. Some people type without even going through it again to avoid mistakes before sending/submitting.

Hmmmm, so this is English class. May God help us.

juss another quick question- because I've been hearing series of answers concerning this.
about my transcript of records, can I use my student copy because the school I'm applying to is requiring me to upload my transcripts and also send it to them by post. attached is the last page of my transcript.
Anybody's opinion is welcomed.

Since you said the transcript that your friend got through the other medium is the same as the one you have with you, and you are quite sure that there is no difference, then you can give it a shot. But if your transcript says or carries not for official use, then there might be probz.

scroll down and click continue "under legal and consulate affairs". It will take you to the next page then click continue under "services for university applicants , language students"
