*modified KillerBeauty: Good people of nairaland help out please. I'm looking for a gym located here in Egbeda that is nice, have good equipment, affordable etc. I really need to start working out because for the past couple of months I've been living a very relaxed life which is making me to add weight. I sometimes do jumping jacks, abs exercises and stretching in my room but I need aerobics exercise and jogging. Jogging in the street is no options for me because I'm a shy person and I will feel awkward doing it. Perhaps if I have a jogging partner it will be better, but I don't, so gym is my only option right now. Please guy let me of any gym in Egbeda. Thanks. There's one at Cele b/stop on akowonjo road, beside keystone bank. There is gym at Havana suites in Gowon Estate. There is another one after St Bernadette just before Lyta. In fact, before Redeem and Christ Embassy on that road, adjacent 331 road gate. There are couple of others in and around Egbeda I think, depending on what axis you are. Akowonjo axis of Egbeda, or towards Ikotun. Jogging is your best bet to keep the fit you want though. |

Yeah but this is not new.
In World War I, German and British troops declared a ceasefire in the trenches of the Western front, albeit unofficially. They enjoyed a game of football, some even exchanged cigars etc. Hostilities resumed immediately after Christmas. |

AVEC: Thats a very cool response. i have always wondered especially about the introvert bit. what really is the best way to promote clothing sales even with a shop? going round to offices, they like to owe and dodge sometimes and yet there must be some way to make more sales? location of the shop s not in a very busy area although its a well known area. i wold like your advice. currently i dont have a website.....but would it help where most people dont really browse? i am located in the east. bset regards While you await OP for a more articulate advice, I think you should use Social media as a tool to market your stock. If you are an introvert, you may not want to use your personal Facebook, Twitter etc accounts, you can create an account specially for your business, then add family and friends. Start from your already established circle/acquaintances and if they are satisfied with what you offer, you can get referrals. Get a professional photographer to snap your wares and edit them for best pictures, post these and tag your contacts. It's even better you already have a shop, go online too. You don't necessarily need a website. In many places where people do not have computers to browse, they use social media fairly well enough on their mobile devices. You may check a few quick points I made http://nairadistrict.com/2017/06/15/7-tech-skills-every-entrepreneur-must-have/From a personal experience, I sold a decent number of fragrances from NL here. I delivered to their offices. Till date I don't even know some of them as some in other parts of the country had theirs delivered through other means. Think beyond your locality. |

grandstar: Countries don't become rih by becoming self sufficient. They do so by focusing resource where they have comparative advantage. Look at the petroleum sector for instance. If the country had 5 sectors like that, Nigeria will be a developed country.
those things that are imported are not pauperizing us. They make the country richer.
Making fragrances is not the issue. Those who prosper from it also export it.
Tommy Hilfiger may make shirts in Bangladesh for $5 but sell it for $30 or more. The money at times is in the marketing.
Iphones are probably made for less than $50 in China but retails for 7 times that figure in America. My business is to make sure you smell great, so walk into a good store around you and pick a fragrance up for yasef bro or chat on whatsapp for recommendation? |

grandstar: You are marketing imported product yet support the CBN's restrictions. Is that not hypocritical?
A you have experienced imports generates wealth so nothing wrong in them.
The problem is when you are not exporting. The CBN's policy is wrong and should be condemned in its entirety These items are not restricted. Modes of payment for them on the foreign exchange window is what was restricted, so they may approach burea de change to transact. Get yaself a cool fragrance today brother |

gists: What has "likes" got to do with the truth? Why does the truth hurt so much? Is this not the same Nigerian Army that BH chased to Cameroon and surrendered weapons? Is this not the same Nigerian Army that lost territories to BH? I asked these questions b4 maybe you can help me with some answers What variable has changed in this BH equation? Has the Nigerian Army gone on more advanced/specialized training? Have they recruited more soldiers? Have they received more weapons because not even the supposed weapons from US is in their possession. So what exactly changed that we now get this kind of positive report OTHER THAN CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP from a shoeless one to an ex-General? Has PMB done anything extra-ordinary that GEJ couldn't have done to prevent so much loss of lives and properties?
keep leaving in denial. But after so much lives lost and many more ruined, Nigerians will not be deceived (hopefully) again by a sensless play of emotion by some shoeless dullards in future. Lol. Just move on. The repeated references made to him sounds very vengeful. He has gone and won't come back, so why not move on and quit the blame game? |

gists: Imagine someone's father, someone's husband, someone's son digging up and using bare hands to clear IEDs and mines on the street of Nigeria so that civilians can move around safely. GOD BLESS these selfless soldiers.
NEVER AGAIN on Nigerian soil NEVER AGAIN should we vote anyone who said he was shoeless because we now know he must have been senseless to hing his campaign on that. Some of us here are just being petty and vengeful. The 'clueless era' is long past, move on. What has any man without shoes got to do with the praises we should be showering these brave soldiers? Finding a way to manipulate him and his followers into every news just to denigrate them is malicious. But of course, enjoy the pathetic 'likes' you garner on a mediocre post. |

Cool83: please help, despite having clean shaved armpit i use to have excess sweet at armpit, what sort of perfume can i use I think you should look for ways to sort out the excessive sweating and prevent your armpit from the bad odour first. Shave the armpit regularly, bath more than once a day using a good antiseptic soap. Also, use deodorant sticks/sprays. So that when you use perfumes like 212 Sexy Man, Aqua Di Gio by Armani or The One by D&G, you enjoy the aura they present you. Cheers! Btw, you can see some perfumes at my signature below. |

Yongi99: those cheap ones are impostors or smart. IMO i would advice someone to buy smart, cos impostors can get so annoying. If you know perfumes, you'd know there this funny underlying tone across smart collections that's a bit below par. For many, it's no much good. Well, except of course when we consider budget. Not that smart is bad but Lifestyle perfume users don't do smart collections. Different strokes for different folks though. Let the impostors be. Never use. |

Godmother: I actually got the list n price from Jumia. Not so good myself with perfs for male. Okay, no p. But this is interesting o! Polo sport for 2k? Even shops with heavy discounts like shoprite or shops at clearance sales, Polo Sport should still cost above 10k (considering current exchange rate). No wonder people complain of the products they buy from those online stores, how would anyone buy an original Davidoff Cool Water that cost about 7k+ for N1,995 |

Godmother: Polo Black for Men N995 (smart collection) Cool water N1,995 Polo Sport for men N2,000
You can get all these on jumia site. Nice list. But do you mean Davidoff Cool Water Except the Cool Water and the Polo Sport are also smart collection, you may be buying Designer impostors. Its same pack and bottle but you'd be shocked at what you get. Op, try using the smart collection Godmother gave. And you can also look for Chris Adams', Le Chateau, Cigar, Brute, Cruiser etc in stores around you. They all go for less than your budget. |
