PoliticsRe: BREAKING News:watch Ait Now,documentary Of Buhari's Demonic Regime Is On. by integralng: 10:03am On Jan 25, 2015
I was lucky to watch the sponsored documentary from 11pm till some minutes after 12midnight...I have to confess, the documentary was not creative and was amateurishly arranged.Although many of the allegations levelled against General Buhari have been flying since 2003 when he first contested on the platform of ANPP,I was surprised that the producers of the documentary could not give their audience the voices of personae/characters mentioned in the documentary rather the presenter changed his voice severally to suit his intention. He would have given his audience the benefit of hearing from the horse's mouths(i.e Tai Solarin,Awolowo,Wole Soyinka,Shehu Yaradua etc) .To any discerning mind, this may not be a true representation of the characters mentioned. Also, references were poorly done. You don't do a documentary of that nature without giving source/reference for each piece of information. This was very unprofessional.Meantime,it will amount to sheer precious waste of time trying to pooh-pooh all the lies presented in the documentary because we read them day-in day-out on nairaland and other social media platforms. And yet General Buhari gets support from every good citizen of Nigeria every micro-second.I don't know the General personally but I have been campaigning for him since 2007(with my personal funds) because I know he has capacity to manage the country effectively well.I am a student of history and I know when a country is in a challenged situation like that of Nigeria,it is only a veteran that can get the job done.I maintain close to 1000 facebook friends, majority of them my long-time comrades in the struggle in the university days. They are quality people and very politically conscious people. Some are journalists, lawyers,PR professionals,bankers,college/university teachers...And they are all routing for General Buhari. If not for anything,at least for a CHANGE in guard. So there is nothing anyone tells them that can change their mind! They were privy to all the mendacious allegations against General Buhari and yet they decided not to only vote for him but also work for his election by forming cell groups of youths and professionals preaching the good gospel of General Buhari. One out of 3 or 4 of my facebook friends canvassing for GEJ, two days ago, decided to dump him and declared to vote for her former university teacher Professor(MRS) Sonaiya of KOWA.GEJ that has been campaigning for one year with Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria(TAN) is now the one calling for shift in the election. It is obvious the imminent defeat is scaring him in the face.As I have posited, the documentary was poorly packaged and not creative.Wait for APC version for GEJ and you will see how Nigerian Broadcasting Commission will close down TV/Radio stations.GEJ,Fani-Kayode,in their voices, will run themselves down!

Who are the yoruba leaders that will support Jonathan? You mean the hungry men that were settled with 12million during National Conference...All the decent yoruba leaders alive are supporting Buhari candidacy. Most first class Oba are for Buhari...Alaafin,Olubadan,Soun of Ogbomoso,Alake of Egba,Owa Obokun of Ijeshland,Ata-oja of Osogbo,Osile of Oke-Ona,Akarigbo of Remo etc.Mama Awolowo is for Buhari. All the Iya-lojas,Iyalajes and Iyalodes are for Buhari.GEJ knows this is why he is desperate to shift the election date...
PoliticsRe: WAEC Offices In Nigeria - Buhari Should Approach WAEC And Leave Army Alone by integralng: 6:08pm On Jan 24, 2015
Why would Buhari approach WAEC for his certificate? Was it WAEC that conducted the exam? For your information,it was the University of Cambridge that conducted the exam and a certificate can't be issued twice by the same body. What you will get is To Whom it May Concern. If you are not satisfied with the statement of result issued by the principal of General Buhari's Alma Mater and the attestation given by some of his classmates particularly the former president of the Court of Appeal, then you and your Otuokean PhD holder can go to court...
PoliticsRe: Why Tinubu Is Scared Of Jimi Agbaje by integralng: 12:14pm On Jan 24, 2015
Even when Obanikoro and others decamped to the PDP enroute to the 2003 Guber elections,Tinubu defeated the PDP.And not now that the APC has 100% senators,100% House of Reps,100% House of Assembly. No commissioners/special advisers decampment.Ambode will get more than 75percent in the Guber election. While Ambode is touring the every nook and cranny of the state, meeting all the voters, telling them what he would do for them,Jimi is meeting journalists and PDP stalwarts telling them how he would reduce the cost of land in Lagos and how Lagos would be like a mere villager if non-lagosians leave Lagos. The reason you feel Lagosians would not vote for Ambode(being stooge to Tinubu),the same reason they would reject Agbaje(because he is a stooge to an Ex-Prisoner Bode George).Sensible Lagos people would rather vote for someone that is an experienced public administrator than voting novice with unverifiable achievements and pedigree.Unfortunately GEJ has compounded the PDP problems because his government has failed to do any project for Lagos people.Did I hear you say TRAIN?Don't go there! The refurbished Locomotive that will cost you 750 naira. Per trip from Agege to Ido Terminal when the BRT bus will cost 150-200.

First, there should be unanimity on this thread (from reps of both APC and PDP) as to my fitness for the role. The guys that earlier dissented need to let us know they are ok with me performing that role.

Second, we can't do such a thing without involving the Mods or Supermods or Seun. They will need to enforce some of the rules e.g hiding non-relevant posts, banning trouble makers, which are necessary ingredients for a successful debate.
I indicate my interest to debate in favour of General Muhammudu Buhari of the APC.

When I saw the build-up of the fracas in Iyana-Ipaja yesterday,I had to retreat and go to take some bottles...I know what would happen.I know Segun Adewale(Aeroland) very well.He is always with his violent Eiye boys from Abule-Oki.That was the exact thing he did in 2011 when he was contesting for House of Representatives election. We were almost lynched in 2011 when I led a CPC campaign for General Buhari to Iyana Ipaja that year. The market women and residents of Boys Town,Gate,Baruwa,Gowon Estate,Mosholasi and Iyana Ipaja(including the commercial bus drivers) I spoke with yesterday corroborated the news that it was Aeroland that attacked the APC and innocent people. This is not good for the polity. This is really denting the corporate image of Aeroland Travels which Segun owns.He should try and refrain from violence. No matter how he tries, people of Lagos West will give their votes to Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) the same way people of Alimosho gave him their votes in 2011 to represent them at the House of Representatives..The chattered Accountant Adeola is well loved by most people because of his performance in office and non-violent attitude.

Sirniyeh:
Few hours after a reputable Nairalander "ACIDIC TALK", who is reknowned in politic section for his articulate, matured and intellectual contributions made an open sensible suggestion for Nairaland political party loyalists or supporters to engage themselves in a political challenge of open debate, no single PDP supporter have painstakingly accepted or welcome the idea.

Meanwhile, a scan through the thread shows that APC-Lead-supporters have welcome, accepted and even challenged all other party faithfuls to come up for a meaningful Nairaland debate as complementary to field campaign their flag bearers embark upon.

Could this failure to accept the debate use to define their motive behind attacking their opponent with all manner of malicious allegations? The answer is left for Nairalanders to judge.

But the most disappointing aspect of it is the negligence of Mr Seun to the thread. Seun and his politics moderators seems not to be concerned to promote the idea to the forefront. However, what Mr Seun refuses to know is that, any serious political debate organises on this Nairaland will make headlines in our National Newspapers following day. And this equally increases his income as many politicians will rush down here to promote their adverts especialy on the no-1 online political forum in Africa.

Will PDP accept the challenge?
I indicate my interest to participate in the debate.I will like to support the candidacy of General Muhammudu Buhari of the APC

I am neither an APC nor PDP member but i will want us to have a PUBLIC DEBATE on both the pros and cons of the two major candidates vying for the position of President in their respective parties in person of DR. Jonathan Ebele Azikiwe and Gen. Muhammed Buhari.

Let us have debaters who are staunch supporters of the two major candidates coming to sell their candidate to the millions of Nigeria populace.

Lets have debate topics centered on the following :

Security
Health
Youth Empowerment
Corruption
Governance
Economy
Agriculture
Rule Of Law
Transparency
Social Development

The debate should be based on FACTS, EVIDENCE, and RECORDS. Vulgal words and backlashes should be curtailed as much as possible.

Buhari's result is not encouraging for (WAEC) educational standards that emphasizes on passing O level subjects (with the inclusion of maths and English). Imagine a presidential aspirant's result not setting a good precedent to the youths (young ones in secondary school). How do you think secondary students would feel towards reading their books when they realize that their so-called president had f9 in maths (and woodwork grin) they may say "after all, the president never passed mathematics, and the government saw him as qualified". This would demoralize our educational system the more (boko haram)

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU VOTE FOR.

Your future depends on your choice

Fellow Nigerians, we have Just few days to our elections and below are some vital things we must consider before casting our vote.

1. Buhari killed Ben ogedengbe by a death penalty for a crime that didn't carry death penalty when he committed it.

2. Buhari doesn't attend the Federal Council meetings yet collects his allowances. Mr. Integrity indeed.

3. Buhari canceled former Governor Jakande's metroline and forfeited the $50 million paid for it by the then Lagos State Government

4. Buhari used Violence to stop the September 1985 National Conference of the National AssociatIon of Nigeria Students.

5. Buhari jailed Tai Solarin and denied him his asthma drugs simply because he campaigned against military rule and for democracy.

6. Buhari Jailed Nduka irabor and Tunde Thompson for writing a truthful report which embarrassed his Government

7. Buhari raided respected Papa Awolowo's house and seized his passport so he couldn't travel out of the country. Was he also corrupt?

8.Buhari threw Former vice President Alex Ekweme in jail even though it was proven that Ekweme never stole any money.

9. He jailed honest and respected pa Adekunle Ajasin.

10. He jailed Fela Kuti in I984 for singing against the dictatorial tendencies of his Military Government

11. Doctors, remember that Buhari banned the Nigeria medical Association (NMA)

12. Buhari stopped Ooni of Ife for traveling abroad simply because he visited the holy land of Israel in 1984

13. He broke up press conference of ASSU in 1984 and detained four of their executives

14. He jailed Beko Ransome Kuti who only demanded for the release of his brother.

15. He jailed Dr. Sam Onunaka Mbakwe.

16. He jailed Awwal Ibrahim now the Emir of Niger State before IBB pushed him aside.
Nigerians must be careful with what they wish for!

PoliticsRe: Time To Disgrace The Self-appointed Godfather Of The South-west by integralng: 8:59am On Jan 20, 2015
menesheh:
THERE is a harrowing story told by Adekoya Boladale, which needs to be brought to the attention of Nigerians, especially the people of the South-West. In the middle of the night of 4th January, 1984, heavily armed men of the Strike Force of the Nigerian army invaded the Lagos home of Chief Olu Awotesu, the Minister of State for Agriculture. This military operation had one design, to put the minister under arrest.
However, Chief Awotesu was not at home, having gone to his home-town in Iperu, Ogun State. On meeting his absence, the soldiers descended on his family. His wife was dragged from the bedroom upstairs through the staircase to the ground floor, where she was kicked and beaten by the men in khaki. Her assailants laughed at her while she screamed and begged for mercy. The children were not spared either. They were also slapped and tortured in the bid to determine the precise whereabouts of their father. This ordeal apparently went on for over three hours. When Chief Awotesu returned from Iperu to Lagos and learnt that he was now a wanted man, he drove straight to Dodan Barracks, then the seat of government in Nigeria, to give himself up.
He was not only arrested, he was detained without trial for nearly two years. It was while in detention that he learnt about the ordeal his family had been put through by men of the Special Forces. Chief Awotesu was only released in 1985, even though the government found no evidence of any crime against him.
South-West is not for sale
The man responsible for this injustice is Muhammadu Buhari. He is now running for president and wants our votes. Paradoxically, a number of the kinsmen of the late Chief Awotesu are now charged with selling his candidacy to us in the South-West; and yet Buhari himself has never found it necessary to apologise to us for the human rights violations his regime inflicted on us. A unique opportunity was given to him by the institution of the Truth and Reconciliation panel under Justice Chukwudifu Oputa in 1999. However, Buhari showed his contempt for us by refusing to appear before the panel. Why then should people in the South-West give this same man their votes in 2015?
The fault is not Buhari’s. The fault is that of those now charged with white-washing his image. These people are obviously contemptuous of their Yoruba kith and kin. They have told Buhari that all he needs is a bit of cosmetic surgery. He should change from wearing an agbada to wearing a suit. He should choose a Christian Yoruba pastor as his running mate, and even attend a thanksgiving service in Lagos where he pretends to sing Christian praise songs. He should then mouth a few inane words about “change” and “anti-corruption” and all will be forgotten.
Somebody is being fooled but it is not the Yorubas. It does not matter how many curious onlookers are paid to come to Buhari’s campaign rallies in the South-West; the Yorubas will ultimately not succumb to this hogwash. Buhari has been rejected in the South-West three times. He will be rejected yet again. Out of over 4.7 million votes cast in the six states of the South West in 2011, Buhari could only get 321,609. That is less than seven percent. Nevertheless, some Yoruba bigwigs in the APC have gone ahead to strike a deal with Buhari on the grounds that they will deliver the South West to him in the coming election. It is not going to happen.
In the first place, who made these men spokesmen for the South-West? Who mortgaged South-West Yoruba interests to the political ambitions of Bola Tinubu and his associates? As a matter of fact, the 2015 presidential election provides a unique opportunity for the people of the South-West to break off the political shackles of Bola Tinubu by rejecting his new-found ally of Muhammadu Buhari. If for no other reason than the refusal of the Yorubas to be sold into slavery, Buhari must be rejected outright in the South-West and the APC must be kicked out of Lagos State.
With all the noise currently being made about Buhari’s candidacy, one important point is often overlooked: Buhari is not even well-liked by his own people. A lot is made of the 12 million votes he obtained from the North in 2011, conveniently forgetting that Goodluck Jonathan also obtained a sizeable eight million votes from the same North. Indeed, in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan won 428,392 votes in Buhari’s home-state of Katsina; to Buhari’s 1,163,919. That means Jonathan won 37% of the votes in Buhari’s backyard. Compare that to the situation in Jonathan’s home state of Bayelsa. Jonathan won 584,811 votes; while Buhari obtained a miserable 691 votes. That gives Buhari a measly 0.11% of Jonathan’s votes.
It is also instructive that in the primary election for the APC presidential candidate, Northern delagates did not vote for Buhari. Instead, they gave their votes to Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and former vice-president Atiku Abubakar. Delegates from Buhari’s North-West voted for Kwankwaso, while those from the North-East voted for Atiku. Buhari’s votes came primarily from the South-West, as well as from the South-East and the South-South. However, in 2011, out of over 38 million votes cast in the entire country, Buhari could only obtain 391,933 from the entire South-West, South-East and the South-South put together; that is 1.03% of the votes.
In short, Buhari was imposed on the North as the APC presidential candidate by delegates controlled by Tinubu. It was out of gratitude for this that Buhari gave Tinubu the sole responsibility for choosing his vice-presidential running-mate. Tinubu’s first instinct, of course, was to reserve the vice-presidency for himself. But the political pressures against a Muslim/Muslim APC ticket, led him to concede it to his political surrogate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
Buhari’s crimes
It is contemptuous of Tinubu and his Yoruba acolytes in APC to presume that they can deliver the South-West to Buhari in the 2015 presidential election, in spite of Buhari’s antecedents. Of all the people they could form an alliance with, Buhari is by far the least acceptable to the Yorubas. In over 30 years of being a fixture of Nigerian politics, Buhari has been decidedly and unapologetically anti-Yorubas and anti-South-West. It is a matter of public record that Buhari has never done anything for us. On the contrary; he has done so many things against us.
When he assumed power in 1984, he established a 16 member Supreme Military Council (SMC) to rule the country. In spite of the fact that the Yorubas are the largest ethnic group in the country; larger according to every statistical index than the Hausas and the Fulanis; Buhari could only find room for one solitary token Yoruba man: Brigadier Ola Oni. Buhari’s SMC had 11 Northerners to 5 Southerners.
Buhari locked up South-West politicians like Bisi Onabanjo and Michael Ajasin even though no case was found against them. Even after they were discharged and acquitted by the kangaroo courts he set up, he still kept them locked up and refused to release them. He pressured a judge to jail Fela Anikulapo Kuti for failing to declare foreign –exchange he had legitimately procured for the up-keep of his band on a foreign trip, while allowing the Emir of Gwandu to smuggle back into the country 53 suitcases during the currency-change exercise.
He did not just brutalise Chief Awotesu and his family. He did the same to Tai Solarin, who was denied medication for his asthmatic condition while in Buhari’s gulag; Ayo Oyewumi, who became blind in Buhari’s detention; and Busari Adelakun, who died of chronic ulcer, complications developed in Buhari’s jail. Buhari even seized Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s passport for no just cause, and thereby denied the old man visits to his doctors at Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota, USA during the years when he ruled Nigeria.
He frustrated Lagos’ attempt to build a metro-rail system and, as PTF chairman, he discriminated blatantly against the South-West. It is no pathetic that, rather than insist he should apologise for these and other infractions, the Yoruba politicians that have decided to pitch their tent with Buhari are now trying to pull the wool over our eyes by trying to give him a cosmetic political makeover. It is just not going to wash.

PoliticsWhy Lagosians Should Reject Jimi Agbaje. by integralng(op): 8:12pm On Jan 18, 2015
The PDP Gubernatorial candidate in the 2015 seemingly appears to some Lagos residents as the one that will deliver them from the purported shackles of Bola Tinubu. However, the 'Messiah' Jimi Agbaje belongs to the class of Nigerian leaders who make fortunes from the suffering of the mass of people of Nigeria. The Vigeo Holdings,(one of the business organisations Jimi Agbaje flaunts as a private enterprise where he has garnered experience that has 'qualified' him to govern the people of Lagos),is the owner of Benin Electricity Distribution Company.Jimi Agbaje is a DIRECTOR in Vigeo Holdings.Since the taking over of the Electricity Distribution by BEDC,the people of Ondo,Delta,Edo and Ekiti who are under the operation of BEDC,have been groaning in pain of rip-off.On several occasions, people of these states have embarked on public protests to register their grievances against the fraudulent attitude of the company.Customers of BEDC complain of lack of electricity, overbilling and rip-off.I now ask:If Jimi Agbaje who some cabal think we should entrust our future and future of children to can collude with his colleagues in private sector to cheat innocent Nigerians and make them suffer endlessly,I doubt it if that position is well thought-out.The Jimi Agbaje's involvement in the shoddy electricity distribution service to the people of Edo,Ondo,Ekiti and Delta is an indication that Agbaje does not have the capacity to effectively manage big budget of Lagos State of our dream.I implore the good people of Lagos State to look before they leap.We need an experienced public Administrator with verifiable achievements and track record. We need a humane Governor that will put smile on all of us and not someone that will open our treasury to his Ex-Convict-godfather who will loot us dry the way he did in Nigerian Port Authority.

Ado Ekiti—Minister of State for Works, Prince Adedayo Adeyeye has described the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Major General Mohammadu Buhari as an unrepentant enemy of the Yoruba in the South West Nigeria.
For Buhari and his party,APC to be looking for the votes of the people of Yoruba that he must tender a public apology to the people of the zone.
In a statement which was personally signed by him and made available to the newsmen in Ado Ekiti yesterday, Adeyeye who reviewed all the programmes and policies of the APC presidential candidate while he was the Head of State and also the chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF, said Buhari was number one enemy of the Yoruba.
“Buhari must be rejected by all true sons and daughters of Oduduwa.”
Adeyeye further noted the incalculable damage the former Head of State did to Lagos State and the entire Yorubaland with the cancellation of the Lagos Metroline Project and how he bastardized the educational policy of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s Free Education Programme,
He challenged Buhari to mention one single project that he did in the Southwest when he was Head of State and Chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF.
Adeyeye said: “Buhari did not only cancel the Metroline Project, he went ahead to pay what was enough to complete the project as compensation to the French Company that handled the project.
“The idea of developing rapid transit in Lagos dated from the 1980s with the Lagos Metroline network conceived by the Alhaji Lateef Jakande during the Second Republic.

“Accordingly, we wish to state as follows:
“That the DSS received actionable information that a
building located at No 10, Bola Ajibola Street, Ikeja, Lagos,
was being used for cloning of INEC permanent voter cards
(PVCs) by some unscrupulous persons with intent to hack
into INEC database, corrupt it and replace same with their
own data.
“That upon receiving the said report, the service
immediately took appropriate steps to investigate same by
first seeking and obtaining a search warrant as required by
law. This is contrary to claims by the APC that the building
was accessed illegally. On arriving at the building at No 10,
Bola Ajibola Street, Ikeja, Lagos, officers of this service
found that the building did not have the signpost, banner or
flag of any company or political party.
“In the course of investigation, the following discoveries
were made: a temporary voter card, a permanent voter card;
“That one of the hard drives recovered from the building
contained a video of twenty-one (21) hacking tutorials. The
tutorial video focused on the following areas:
“How to become a hacker and steps to take to avoid
detection in the process of hacking web servers;
“Steps and procedures of system hacking, passwords
cracking, decrypting, escalating access privileges, and
creating backdoors to servers.
“It also explicitly explained how to evade security of
databases such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS),
firewalls, and other measures put in place to deter hackers;
“The video outlined ways to identify vulnerabilities in
systems and how to surreptitiously drop a USB flash drive
in a target establishment, which when plugged into any
computer, transmits malicious codes enough to gain access
into and compromise the entire system of the target
organisation; and
“Finally, the video explains how to hack into the systems of
media houses, with the aim of broadcasting fake stories or
headlines.
“It was also discovered that the APC registered under-aged
persons including several infants and babies as members of
the party. We know that Article 9.1 of the APC party
constitution expressly says: ‘membership of the party shall
be open to any citizen of Nigeria who has attained the age
of eighteen (18) years and accepts the aims and objectives
of the Party.”
“Similarly, the APC registered several security personnel
from the Nigeria Army (NA), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF),
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigerian Security and Civil
Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
among others, in their uniforms as members of the party.
“Furthermore the APC had multiple registrations of
individuals in multiples of 16, 12, and 10;
“Several foreigners were also registered as its members;
“Also, the APC filled forms without passport photographs,
and have books containing names of people with their
phone numbers.
“Equally discovered were several envelopes containing
passport photographs of various individuals.”
The service said from its investigations it suspected that
there was an elaborate and well articulated plan by the APC
to inflate the party’s membership data as well as hack into
INEC’s voter registration database through the creation of
party membership forms and cards to match INEC’s voter
register across the country.
Concluding it added: “facts are sacred and opinion free. The
arrested suspects have since been charged to Court, and at
the moment investigation is still ongoing. We shall update
the public of further developments. “
I can imagine the DSS could be this partisan. So the APC would hire mere beginners(that would be watching/following video tutorials) to do that dirty job for them when there are crackers in abundance in Nigeria.Any sensible Nigeria will take this allegation with just a pinch of salt. This is just a sheer distraction to shore up GEJ's faulty and poor re-election campaign. The DSS's allegation is not well thought-out.

OJUKWU's LETTER TO YORUBAMAN BANJO..."TAKING OUR DESTINIES INTO OUR HANDS"

August 1967

From: The Military Governor, Republic of Biafra, Enugu.

My Dear Victor,

1. For some time now, you and I have been discussing the circumstances that have led to the current and inevitable disintegration of what was the Federation of Nigeria. We have been fully convinced that the aim of the Hausa/Fulani complex has ever been, and will ever remain, the total domination of every other part of what was known as the Federation of Nigeria. It is impossible to forget that the crisis which led to the army take over in January 1966, the coup of the Northern soldiers led by Gowon in July 1966, the wholesale and indiscriminate massacre of the people of what is now Biafra- and, to a less degree, the people of the Mid-West and West, including the Yorubas, were all the direct result of Hausa/Fulani attempt to subjugate and use as tools, the gallant people of Western Nigeria namely the Yorubas. We do not need to remind ourselves of the heavy losses in life and property suffered by the Yoruba people in their fight for justice and freedom during 1965.

2. Sharing.our belief that the people of Yorubaland have a right to live a life of equality and self-respect and justice free of domination and dictatorship from any quarter, you have both identified with the cause of the Biafra struggle for survival and expressed your determination to see the people of Yorubaland freed from Hausa/Fulani domination.
We, the people of Biafra, for our part are willing and have decided to give you and the people of Yorubaland every assistance to achieve your aim.

3. After clearing the whole question with my Executive Council, I, as the Commander in Chief of the Biafran Armed Forces, have decided to place at your disposal Biafran forces, for the liberation of Yorubaland on the following clear conditions:-
(i) You will have nothing to do with the Military Administrator in the Mid-West Territory during your sojourn there prior to your move to the West.
(ii) The willingness and preparedness of Biafra to assist any part of the former Federation of Nigeria wishing and willing to liberate itself from the Hausa/Fulani domination, does not in anyway whatever imply any inclination on her part to compromise her sovereignty or preserve what remains of the defunct Federation of Nigeria. In other words, our sovereignty and break with Nigeria is irrevocable. Nothing must, therefore be said or done by you or any member of the Liberation Army to give a contrary impression.
(iii) Biafra is determined to maintain and safeguard her sovereignty and ensure that her integrity and safety are never again threatened.
(iv) Biafran troops will, after the liberation of the Yorubaland, remain in that territory only for as long as we in Biafra consider it necessary for the Yorubas to consolidate their position and sovereignty against any external threat.
(v) On the liberation of the Yorubaland, you will be appointed as the Military Governor of that territory.
(vi) The liberation of Western Nigeria will be a prelude to the liberation of all Yorubas up to the River Niger and the severance of all connections between the West and the North at Jebba.
(vii) During the period of Biafrans troops’ presence in your territory, all political measures, statements or decrees shall be subject to the approval, in writing by myself or on my authority.
(viii) Should our troops arrive and liberate Lagos, the government of the Republic of Biafra reserves the right to appoint a Military administrator for the territory. Such an Administrator will remain in office until a merger of that territory with Yorubaland is effected by Biafran troops.
(ix) As soon as possible after your appointment as the Military Governor of Western Nigeria and separation of that territory from Nigeria, you and I must meet to discuss:
(a) the duration of stay of Biafran troops in your territory;
(b) the areas and subjects of cooperation between the liberated sovereign states of Western Nigeria, or by what name it may call itself, and Biafra.

4. I do not need to remind you that Biafra regards all Yoruba as friends. As such everything should be done, to ensure the minimum force and loss of life are involved in achieving the objective of liberation.

5. It is essential, in order to avoid misunderstanding or confusion, that all subsequent requests for support be formally made to me by you in writing.

6. Will you please signify in writing, your acceptance of the above conditions so that you may leave for Western Nigeria and lead the army of liberation.

Yours very sincerely,
signed Lt. Col. Odumegwu Ojukwu,
Military Governor and Commander in Chief of Biafran Armed Forces

As culled from "A Break in the Silence : Lt. Col. Victor Adebukunola Banjo, pp.66-68, by F. Adetowun Ogunsheye, Spectrum Books, Ibadan, 2001"
And at the end of the day,Ojukwu because of his inferiority complex, jealousy towards the yoruba people's chilvary/bravery,courtmartialled and killed Victor Banjo.Immediately Victor Banjo was killed by Ojukwu,Enugu fell to the federal troop and Ojukwu chickened out and ran away to Cote d'Ivoire for safety.

Kenai:
This thread was inspired by this post, from Dr. Hassan, requesting to see Goodluck Jonathan's thesis and publications.

While I am no spokesman for the president or any of these political players for that matter, I remember I did once come across one of his academic publications...

I found it at the AquaticCommons, and it was originally published on 29th November, 1985.

The publication is titled:
"Identification of West African Estuarine Shrimp and Crab Larvae"
by Jonathan, G.E. and Powell, C.B. and Hart, A.I. (1985).

Abstract: The paper deals with the decapod crustacean larvae likely to be found in fresh and brackish waters in tropical west Africa. It summarizes results from an ongoing program of describing larvae hatched directly from adults of known species, to provide the identification keys necessary for applied research on nursery grounds, plankton ecology and pollution effects. A preliminary key to stage - 1 larvae is given for approximately 40 species...

Item Type: Conference or Workshop Item.

That's the much I could find for now, but I'm sure we'd find more if we actually looked. undecided
. @ Op:You are a cheap and mischievous liar. That publication you have quoted was not authored by Jonathan. You knew this that was why you did not give the full names of the contributors of the paper. The G.E Jonathan stated in the paper is Graves E Jonathan of the department of Plant/Animal, University of Georgia and not Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as you have echoed. This action of yours is an evidence that your principal jonaTAN does not have any scholarly papers hence your resort to falsehood.I gave up on jonaTAN a long time ago when I conducted a research on his being a doctoral degree holder and found out that he spent about 10years to round-off a programme that would have taken a brilliant student in Nigeria just 3years.And he didn't gain this title until he had become a Director in OMPADEC when he could bribe his away out.I read a report about his doctoral thesis when his supervisor turned down his papers severally because they were not scholarly and lack depth.I can't imagine that a 'scholar' that attended the Uniport for his BSc,MSc and PhD and his Alma Mater could not find him worthy of a teaching appointment. This speaks more of the low quality Jonathan is.
