Love for the job or not he is right about a few things, there are still dark sides in the Army and many things are wrong but hey we were moulded in the system so have come to terms with it. I have seen it all from NMS and even now as a civilian.
Advice to all, avoid the emotions, pick the nuggets, and effect the positive changes when you eventually make it in.

It's no longer about joining the Army, it is about the roles the future expects us to play as SSC 44 officers.

There's a big difference between a one state election and 37 states conducting elections simultaneously.

Even the IGP I repeat the IGP or the DG SSS will not have full control over their various agents. Reason is they won't be present there. So the people in charge of the various states and local governments can do as they please.

The states that normally receives top focus are kano and the state of the president. Other states are at the commissioners and DPO's mercy.

And remember officers owe favours to politicians.

So you'd focus your energy to places where you are certain of 90% and leave places where your opposition would try to rig ??

Evening , that's really not feasible , it's going to be hard except you want to stay in a village .. Akwa-ibom is generally expensive , you'd get moderate accommodation (self con ) ranging from ( 80k to 150k) upward in Uyo, In Eket 65k to 100k.

For hotels budget like 3k or luckily 2.5k upward in main cities..

Akwa-ibom was paying 10k before recession then Udom reduced it to 5k.. please for the first three months yuy might likely not be paid state allowance thereafter you'd be on Thier payroll and it was paid by cash back then.
That's if you are posted to government schools or ministries.

Please Akwa-ibom is a bit expensive cos they believe everybody is working in ExxonMobil, so be prepared.
And not likely any would be posted to ExxonMobil, it was stopped years back..

And so on .

Like other projects, Buhari is laying claim and taking credit for a project he personal had no input in.
